Convenient location and super friendly service. Close to the MRT station and a large shopping center. I can recommend the hotel if you're looking for something good and affordable. We had 4 rooms and all of us where pleased! One little thing, you might here the airplanes in the morning if you are sensitive to noise.
Excellent as always! When we visit Porto, this is our hotel of choice because of its excellent location, next to Norte Shopping, the metro, and access to major highways.
Good, good service, although the breakfast is a bit ordinary
A nice and tipical hotel to spend the night while on a business trip, without much luxuries.
It's well-organaized hotel near a big shopping mall in Porto. Stuff are specially kind. I felt there are something more than the price.
If you are tourist who lack of time, it might be better to choose the accomodation located in the center of the city. However, If you have time, this hotel must be one of the good option.
I visited not only major tourist spots in Porto but also I welt the fish port...
G good!! There is a shopping center and everything is close.

Easy walk from one of the main train stations, very pleasent staff, rooms and hotel spotless and a very nice breakfast.
The staff at this property are fantastic....great location and great facilities...would stay again
Very clean room. Lovely staff. 10/10 location- walking distance to everything with lots of amazing restaurants and supermarkets near by.
I enjoyed my stay the staff were first class and the room was clean and all you needed. Breakfast again all you needed. Will stay again
super clean and comfortable room. Excellent shower. Walkable to so many restaurants and bars and many coffee shops.
Great hotel, spacious room, very clean, great location. Although we didn't have a view and the window was very small and the room didn't get much natural light.

Happy to stay here again. Location is very central. Walkable to all attractions. Appreciate the help of the reception when we had needed hot water early morning. Kudos!
It was exactly what we were looking for! The room was basic, but very clean and staff was nice/helpful. Location was great. Also they had so many water stations which was so handy. We plan to return to Porto and will definitely be staying here!
Wonderful stay, the room was great and the hotel was in a central location. Great service as well, would definitely recommend for any travelers, but solo travelers especially
Friendly and helpful staff. Great location, many restaurants in short walking distance. Rooms quite compact but clean and comfortable bed.
Perfect location , helpfull stuff, i missed a llace to keep cold things like a refrigerator
Very bad experience
No hot water in the morning that we could not take shower before we went out for sight-seeing.

Classically elegant, very refined, with excellent service and a great location.
Friendly staff but the grand in grand hotel is for 100 years ago. You can hear people in the room next door, pillows like concrete..Yes, I like to sleep. Do you?
If you're looking for a hotel with history, stunning period decor where everything fits perfectly, this is the ideal spot. The location couldn't be better. The staff are very friendly. Breakfast offers the basics but is still good.
Everything else was great, except for the incredibly loud floor noise from the wooden floors. The creaking of the floorboards was truly extraordinary. The convenient transportation, good service, and ample breakfast were all excellent. The noise, however, was a major issue.
Great staff good service and very enjoyable stay

The staff at front desk are very much helpful and always happy to recommend us for whatever we need help with
Will definitely come back to stay again on my future visits
Beautiful hotel! Wonderfully helpful staff, and a delicious breakfast! 5 stars
Even gave us a white rose at breakfast for women’s day.
It is a kind, beautiful, and clean hotel, perfect for a family trip. It is conveniently located close to the main tourist attractions. However, the furniture layout focuses heavily on aesthetics, which may reduce practicality and efficiency.
Everyone at the hotel was very kind to us.
The location is also very convenient for sightseeing, and everything is within walking distance. They explain the location on a map at the beginning, which makes it very easy to understand. Also, although we weren't able to get a reservation this time, there is a restaurant called Blind, which has an unusual concept and I think it is a space where you can...

The room was clean and had everything we needed. The staff were wonderful and helped with parking. The hotel is in a good area, loads of restaurants and cafes nearby and easy to walk to anywhere in 10-15 minutes. At night the hotel was quiet and easy to relax
Air conditioning did not work the first night and it was hard to sleep. The second day they changed our room. It was ok after that.
Good location, friendly service.
The hotel location was a little hard to find at the beginning. The services was excellent for both the front desk attendants. A little far from tourist areas I like the hotel a lot because of the excitement services. My room was comfortable, nice and clean.
The staff were kind and helpful. The breakfast was fine but nothing great. It also was not varied much day-to-day. The AC didn't work great and kind of worked as it wanted to. The bathrooms were nice and the shower was good. The hotel is in a good area but be prepared for walking steep hills if you're not in a car. Overall it's a fine stay. Nothing stellar but not bad.
It was ok overall but they had issues with dranage and it smelled a lot there

We had a great stay at Editory House Ribeira Porto. The location is perfect—just a 2-minute walk to the riverfront, making it ideal for exploring the area and enjoying the views.
The check-in process was smooth and hassle-free. The room itself was very spacious and clean, which made our stay comfortable.
Overall, a highly convenient and pleasant place to stay in Porto.
Gem of a hotel with really friendly staff and great amenities
I really enjoyed my stay here recently. Location is excellent and my room was lovely. Very clean and great bathroom. Staff very really helpful and friendly. Really appreciate the water every day. Rooms were very clean and the staff was so nice. Really enjoyed my stay. The location was ideal for us first time visitors.
No comment provided for breakfast because we didn't eat breakfast at the property. Only comment would be regarding payment. Throughout our visit in Portugal, this was the only hotel that provided an option to pay in Euros or USD and we mistakenly paid in USD which was more expensive than paying in local currency.
Clean room and bathroom. Window didn't shut properly which meant we could hear the street noise. Convenient location.

Nice hotel. We were there for their rooftop bar but as it was rainy season, rooftop were not useful. But the room and location were excellent choic
Very average hotel. The room was small and basic. The location is good though, many attractions are within walking distance. Parking is 15 euros per day.
The Hotel has a very good location. Walking distance to all the spots in the city center. Also close to many restaurants at walking distance. The WiFi could have been better.
The room was clean and tidy, and it's within a 15-minute walk to all the main attractions.
The room was big, clean. There was no possibility to change temperature of the room, there was quite cold. Not a big offer of food at the breakfast, but it was ok.
I could also hear the neighbors what was terrible during night. For me should be 3 stars

Friendly recept; good communication skills! Also, the place is quite accessible by public transport
The hotel's overall environment is great, with beautiful scenery in the surrounding areas. The accommodation is very comfortable, and the facilities are comprehensive. It's a suitable place for students and families to stay when traveling.
We are here for our honeymoon. The hotel offered a feee upgrade and special decorations without extra cost. The service is also excellent here.
The environment is great, and the location is excellent, very close to the Chapel of the Soul. The front desk service is superb! They are incredibly polite and kind! They offer welcome drinks and mini egg tarts.

The hotel itself is superb and the service is excellent, no complaints there. However, the soundproofing is really not good: we had trouble falling asleep due to the noise, whether it was from the TV, the neighbors talking, or even the subway.
I was in the area for some errands and booked a family suite. The room was spotless, and the service was excellent. Check-out was incredibly fast! Overall, very satisfied.
the design of washroom is very strange, but the location is convenient.
the service is good and fast, the staff are friendly. But the room I stayed in was very noisy from the metro.
Clean and spacious room. Location was good next to a local shopping mall and about 30 minute walk to tourist attractions

Great location, great people at the front desk, kind of hard to find, we took a whole to realize where the entrance was, and Uber Eats couldn't find us either.
Rooms are ok, good place to stay
The hotel is in a good location within walking distance to many historic places, restaurants, and train station. The restaurant right next door is lively. The room was well equipped, clean, and there was a small balcony to sit outside with drinks. Our room didn't have the roadside view.
The hotel is not accessible by car. The front of the hotel is blocked for automobiles. But it’s not a bad walk, with luggages, it’s a challenge if you have more than 2 rolling luggages. Other than that it was an awesome stay. The free wine was good.
Great location and friendly staff!
The A.S. 1829 is one of the nicest hotels we’ve ever stayed in. They did a wonderful drop working with the pen and stationary downstairs (open since 1829) to retain the aesthetics and character of the building. The room was elegant and spacious. The staff were wonderful. A 5 star stay for sure. The only criticism, and this is a tiny thing, is that the light switches are comically complicated. Very...

Had a great stay. The location is good and it's clean.
The hotel was clean, and the front desk manager was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Even when I had trouble storing my luggage after checkout, he helped me out, leaving a very positive impression. They also provided scrambled eggs upon request, complimentary...
Luis and the staff were great. They professional, patience, and help me schedule my activities.
Memoria Porto FLH is ideally located, spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated. It also provides top-notch service, especially Luiz at the front desk, who’s very professional and warm-hearted. I’d highly recommend this hotel to any first-time visitor to Porto.
The location is excellent, right by the river, perfect for finding food and watching the sunset. And since the room faces inland, there's no noise at night. The staff is very welcoming. However, the breakfast is very basic, and the bathroom design is a bit awkward (side glass door).
Overall, a highly recommended stay!
Absolutely loved this hotel. Luiz and Isabella are the perfect host and will go above and beyond to make your stay the best it can be. Breakfast is great and the daily afternoon tea was such a nice touch. Location is perfect. Highly recommend this hotel.

We feel motivated to leave a review because the staff at this hotel went above and beyond. The check-in experience was fast, warm and welcoming, much better than some more expensive hotels we’ve stayed at.

The hotel is located on the roof of a large shopping center. Next to the mall (and thus the hotel) is one of the largest hospitals in Porto and Portugal in general. The avenue in front of the hotel has excellent tram/metro service (which runs above ground in the center and underground elsewhere), allowing you to reach the city center in under ten minutes. The area is safe, even at night.
The mall closes...
Excellent location! Inside the São João do Porto hospital. Small but functional rooms.
Very well located for the purpose of out trip, and the staff was very nice. The Breakfast was also very good. The room is fine considering it's a two star hotel, it was apparently clean, but it is very small, there are barely any towels (we were 3 guess) and the pillows are just bad. It would also be great to have some outlets to charge our devices near the bed.
Basic hotel but meets expectations
Access is through the hospital and as it is not expected to enter a hotel through a hospital, we are forced to enter a paid parking lot.
The bathroom of the room where I stayed has mold on the walls and ceiling.
The room overlooks hospital containers.
The reception staff were very friendly.

pedro couto was the best. we had great service. i will return.
Internet was breaking frequently and unreliable.
Pedro from front desk was so helpful while I was parking - I was not familiar in parking on a closed lot with small spaces.
Pros: Very friendly & helpful staff, excellent breakfast with a large selection.
Cons: Have to walk up a hill to get to the hotel from major attractions. Buildings in the neighborhood are a bit run down. There is a ******* two blocks away.
Clean, quiet, efficient staff. They let us check out an hour past check out time. Very happy with this hotel

Staff professional and efficient
Upon a local recommendation, we chose this hotel, which is well-located in Proto near the centre as well as near many restaurants. The room was spacious and had a common balcony, which houses the night bar, but we had no noise problems. The staff is very friendly and helpful, but...
Needed somewhere central and safe for a single female traveller on a tight budget. Wasn’t completely sure about this place but went for it and I’m glad I did. Great hotel in a very convenient location, especially for Rangers FC fans as it’s close to the square. The reception staff were friendly, welcoming, and very helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable. There was some noise from the street outside, but overall it was a really good stay and I’d happily return
Perfect close location from major attractions, clean, big rooms, pleasant hall, bar, only dis is no parking but public parkings are available
Service people were talking loud in the corridor and making a lot of noise with their cleaning carts etc. The walls on the room were not acoustic at all, we could hear the people on the next room.
Front office didn't mention about our room including breakfast buffet and where the restaurant was to have the breakfast etc. Thus, we completely had forgotten that our room charge was already including...
1. The hotel's decor was nice; I saw it while passing by. However, the room's interior decor was just average.
2. The service was poor. I had to get my toothbrush and slippers from the front desk; they wouldn't deliver them if I called.
3. Around 9:20 PM, a staff member entered my room without knocking. Luckily, I was still asleep. This was one of the worst hotel experiences I've had in recent years
We booked for 3, but the room was prepared for 2. We were charged €3 for them to store our luggage as guests.
Otherwise, the hotel is well located.

This was one of our favorite stays during our trip. We loved the room and the breakfast was excellent. Very clean hotel and a beautiful, safe neighborhood.
Very good
Hotel was good, breakfast also good very clean. Not far from the Metro station and not far from city centre.
Porto City Hotel was in good location, far enough away from the hugely busy Douro area (circa 30 minute walk) and also adjacent to a Metro Station for ease of travel in a very hilly city.
The hotel could very well be the cleanest that we have ever stayed in. It was superbly clean.
