The room was a bit sparsely cleaned. The TV was very old and small, which I didn't even turn on (I used my tablet, which was almost bigger). The breakfast was pretty sparse. The lady in charge of breakfast was hiding in the storage room with her phone and unreplenished things. The mattresses were springy and you'd be stuck all over the place. Very average. Location is ok but not great, room was clean but staff very unwelcoming, no one smiled or said hello, even when checking in and out. Breakfast was ok, no juice, but a good selection of mainly bread products. Strange way to treat guests in a hotel, by making them feel like an inconvenience. Won’t be back.

I arrived earlier than check-in and actually just wanted to leave my suitcase there. But luckily I was allowed to check in 🥰 There were free maps at reception. I felt very comfortable. My girlfriend is staying the night after me on my recommendation:)

Overall OK stay with good location, but the service was quite cheap: one small bottle of shampoo, body wash for two people, 5 nights // no paper towel despite kitchenette // no change of towels, had to ask separately to arrange for towels. The sofa bed was broken. They did try to fix it but it was not able to be mended whilst we were there. A dyson fan which was avaliable to use.

Had a great stay. We stayed in the first floor duplex apartment(first door upstairs on the right) had an issue on arrival, the key pad code that was sent to us to get in didn’t work. Parking garage conveniently across street but some free parking is nearby (and rare) down the hill by the construction. Look for that before using garage!

The location of the hotel is the best! It is walking distance from the metro and from a well-known food market. The streets surrounding the hotel are packed with stores and restaurantes and easily connect to the iconic places (check out the pictures I attached). Let`s not forget the stunning mosaic-ornated church that faces the hotel. I strongly recommend it.

It was a place I got in a hurry, but it wasn't bad. The towels and bedding were all good. There is a large restaurant building right around here where you can try a variety of foods. There is also a McDonald's in the Decathlon building and a supermarket in the basement.

I feel like I entered an old movie in this hotel, they really stoped in time. The room is big, but the windows cannot be opened. The carpet is super old and the air inside the room is heavy. We stayed in room 501. Realy good , big with terrace , I was so happy when I sow room because I thought that it will be so small room (classic in Europe) . Stuff was so kindly. Strange that in a downtown hotel, not all receptionists speak at least some English in a touristy city like Porto. Everybody was nice, but the English part made things more difficult. We were about to leave after our stay in Portugal ... our return flight was canceled and postponed 2 days later. The Hotel Cristo Rei suited our needs well: close to the center of Porto, a charming French-speaking lady welcomed us well. The comfort is sufficient, the service is minimal. In terms of cleanliness, an improvement can be made.

It's a very cozy little hotel, but nicely decorated and comfortable. I especially want to praise their powerful showerheads; I think it's wonderful to have such a well-designed bathroom in a triple room in the cold weather of Porto, allowing three people to use the bathroom simultaneously. The two gentlemen at the front desk were also very welcoming and introduced us to the hotel's facilities.

The hotel is right next to the river, in Place Bellira, and the view is beautiful as soon as you step out. It's a bit of a walk to the train station; it's a ten-minute walk to St. Benedict's station. Be careful when taking a taxi; the address isn't in front of the hotel, you have to walk down a slope to get there.
