I was disappointed to find some dirt in the cup after boiling and pouring hot water from the water kettle. Not sure if the dirt was from inside the kettle or the cup even though I already washed the kettle and the cup before use.

Excellent place to stay. Very clean and nice staff. Near NE station. Walking distance to the attraction area (Boat Quay, China town, Mall and etc)

Terrible Service – Only Good Thing is the Location

I stayed at this hotel from May 9th to 12th, 2025 (3 nights). Upon check-in, I was given two key cards—one for the door and one to keep the electricity running in the room. The staff told me I could leave the power card in the slot while I was out, and that after 10 PM, no one would be at the front desk, but they could be contacted via WhatsApp.

On the second night, I came back around 10:30 PM after a long day out. The front desk was already closed. When I entered my room, I discovered that the power card had been removed. Later, I found out that housekeeping had taken it out—but I still don’t understand why they entered my room and removed it in the first place.

I tried to contact the hotel through WhatsApp, but no one responded because the phone had been left at the hotel. I had no way to reach anyone and had to spend the entire night without electricity.

The next morning, I reported this to the front desk. The staff apologized and said they would inform the manager about possible compensation. That evening, I returned around 9:30 PM and spoke to a different staff member. I explained the situation again and asked if the manager had responded. The staff simply said the matter was “in process” and couldn’t give me a timeline.

I said I was very unhappy with how things were handled, and the staff replied, “You can write a review if you want to share your opinion.” That response lacked any empathy and was completely unprofessional.

To this day, I have received no follow-up from the hotel or the manager via email or WhatsApp.

The smell of mold was so terrible that the extension was abandoned on its own.

I stayed here as a solo female traveller! I don't speak English, but they were kind enough to help me and I had no problems. The room was clean and a bottle of water was provided every day. There was everything I needed, such as a kettle, towels and toothbrushes. There was only shampoo and body soap, so if that bothers you, I recommend bringing your own conditioner. The shower had plenty of hot water and there was no problem with the toilet. The room was small, but the space was well-used, so it didn't feel cramped.
It's close to the main tourist sites and the MRT station, so it was very convenient to return to the hotel in the middle of sightseeing.

The room is very tired, it smells like sewage, there are no European sockets (the TV had 1 USB), you can hear your neighbors quite well, the pillow is too high and hard.

Everything is good. However, there is construction ongoing (written in hotel will be from 9am-6pm) but apparently from 8am plus till 9pm plus.
There is also irresponsible hotel neighbours who chatting and shouting (until the corridor can listen) until 12am even though complaint has been made.

Although rooms are a bit small but comfy enough. There are also have Hot shower, WIFI, balcony and smoking area. I chose this hotel because it was the best hotel option with a good price in a perfect location close to the Marina Bay , Marlion, Raffles Train Station, China Town

Clean and organized place. Good location. After 7 am no chance of staying in the room. it's really loud as if some demolition work is going on. Not able to sleep at all. AC was broken and was really loud too

Riverwalk Tandoor is one of my highly recommended restaurants for both locals as well as tourists because : It serves authentic indian cuisine with great service, it is conveniently located just a stone's throw away from clark quay mrt, It is situated in one of singapore's most iconic locations along the singapore river, & is affordably priced even though its situated right in the heart of the city. The restaurant has been at this location for 19 long years and in Sept 2017, it went through a major revamp in design, space layout, furniture, buffet presentation style and of course a new menu too. . The revamped restaurant is now better positioned to cater to both singaporeans and tourists alike, with a well stocked bar facing the river, an al fresco area which is great for block booking or corporate events, and of course the air conditioned interior with its island shaped buffet . Kudos to the management team for breathing new life into the restaurant ….this will be my go to place to chill

Aunty tried to sell us dishes(the obviously most expensive dish on the menu) that we already said we didn't want to have, she kept insisting even though we had in mind what we wanted to order. Food was crappy, not worth paying for. The 1 star was more towards the service, if I could, i would have given an even lower.

Dishes actually tastes ok, similar quality as JUMBO. Both very expensive. Not good value considering the portions and price, but okay for tourists to satisfy their crave for pepper crabs once in a while.

It's just Ok, had both pepper and chili crabs. Using dungeness crabs?! Food lacks wow factor.

Tourist-packed waterfront restaurant that delivers quality food but with steep price.

It was our first time in Singapore and Jumbo seemed like a big name for Chilli crab so we've made a booking for a weekday night. The place did not disappoint, although I wouldn't return.

The chilli crab was delicious although a bit on the sweet side to my taste. The crab was big and there were plenty of flesh to dig out and enjoy. We also had cereal prawn and fried rice. The prawn was wonderfully buttery and crunchy. Fried rice was fairly mediocre. Portions were quite large. We were very full and happy with food.

The biggest irritation I had was they only give you 75 minutes from sitting down til emptying your table. We felt quite rushed to finish our dish especially when their service wasn't particularly fast. If you want to have dining experience for the evening then look elsewhere.

We read about how they charge extra for things seemingly trivial like peanuts and tissues so we refused when they've offered.

Great location along the quay. Very high-end in both service and quality of food. Excellent chili crab and black pepper crab. Tofu with seaweed was best I've had. It has both inside air conditioned seating as well as the more popular quay-side tables. Reservations recommended. If you're not on a budget, this is a very good option.

Fantastic chilli crab. The best sauce in my opinion. Use the little dough breads to soak up the sauce. Yummy! Yeah, a bit expensive but worth it. Busy place so best to book. Next to the canal, its nice to sit outside.

The food here was pretty good. I stopped by at night before closing so the staff were in shutdown mode and service was a bit slack. I was seated outside near the plants and a small rat kept running around, pretty off putting to say the least. I mentioned the rat while I was paying but they didnt seem to process what I was saying. They might need to contact pest controll for the area with the plants.

For me the service was quite good-maybe because we came in two big groups?
Fantastic buns and deer food. But I didn't enjoy the chili crab as much as I had expected--it was too sweet for my taste buds. But people I was with seemed to enjoy it. My Singaporean friend said they had the best chili crab so try it out here if you are in Singapore to see if such dish is for you or not :)
