Had a great one-night stay at the Concorde Hotel Singapore. The location is unbeatable for shopping and dining on Orchard Road. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the service was efficient. Perfect for a quick city trip!

I can't say it enough, the negative reviews for this place are absolutely spot on! The hotel is incredibly old and run-down. The bedding was always damp and uncomfortable. There was a constant musty smell from the moment you entered the lobby, through the hallways, and into the room. My whole family felt it. There were ants on the bed and the table! The breakfast was terrible with very few options, and they charged an extra 21 Singapore dollars for children, which is definitely not worth it! The common areas were rusty and dusty everywhere. Despite its size, the hotel exuded a sense of decay throughout. One day they'd forget to provide toothpaste, the next it would be slippers. Every day there was some issue that required us to speak to staff in English. After staying one night, we couldn't take it anymore and wanted to cancel the third night, but Trip.com informed us the hotel wouldn't allow it. We had no choice but to tough it out for three nights, which unfortunately left a sour taste in our mouths for this Singapore trip and made us regret choosing this hotel mid-trip. I genuinely advise everyone not to pick this place; there's really no service to speak of.

Always a pleasure staying here. I know they didn't plan this but there was a couple of humming birds that built their nest in the bushes on our balcony and it was such a treat seeing them fly in and out looking for twigs and soft materials to build their nest with. The room was awesome as usual.... Strong (and working) Air-conditioning, hot water with high water pressure, and wonderful soaps... The service here is always nice and the staff is friendly and polite too. Our room was 827~ If you get this room, perhaps you can spot the nest in the bushes on the balcony too... =)

Well-located in the heart of Orchard, this hotel offers great convenience with major malls, dining options, and public transport just steps away. We love that the location is still in the heart of orchard rd. Its close to all nearby malls like plaza singapura, orchard central, orchard point. The hotel has good staffs, especially auntie Rita who loves to greet us always in the morning for breakfast. There are a lot of good foods and restaurants which is very accessible to and from the hotel.

The hotel location was good. However, the rooms needed to be refreshed. My first assigned room with water leakage with the toilet an got changed. Nonetheless, staff are friendly and helpful.

I stayed here once several years ago and this is a comeback. Check in was fast and the welcome drink marvellous. Hotel now has policy of not providing complimentary bottled water to guests, but provides a distilled water tap within the bathroom sink for guests. I would prefer the previous arrangement. Also suggest the concierge to keep some MRT maps for the convenience of guests who need them for advance travel planning because when I asked for it I was told to get in the MRT station.

Ambience: Classy Indian setting, white tablecloth set up. Service is warm and professional
Value for Money?: Fair; Relatively pricey compared to most Indian fare but the dishes are well executed and innovative at times

The food, service and ambience here is good. Must taste the mutton Briyani and the tandoori chicken.

The only reason they get a two star is because the food was decent. The service was horrendous and they were clearly understaffed. They missed some items from our order. We had cold stale papads served to us. For the price point, I am not coming back. There was not even an attempt to recover the poor service. The desserts were real good.
