Some front desk staff here tend to give Chinese guests rooms on less desirable floors. The air conditioning unit outside my assigned room was incredibly noisy at night, so I asked to switch. While they did resolve it, it really soured my mood! And the view outside the window was absolutely shocking 😠

Exceeded my expectations. The hotel itself is quite refined, and the location is excellent, right next to a shopping mall, which I unfortunately discovered a bit late. You don't even need to go to Orchard Road for shopping or dining; you can access the mall directly from the second floor. The hotel's cleanliness is good, and the facilities are fine. However, they don't provide bottled water, claiming it's to align with Singapore's green and low-carbon initiatives, offering only tap water in the rooms. I still bought bottled water though, as I'm not used to drinking tap water when traveling. The breakfast selection isn't extensive, but it's local and well-prepared. The Laksa was a definite highlight!

I was thoroughly impressed with Hotel Jen. The room was spacious and bright, equipped with complete and modern facilities. Its prime location offers great convenience for transportation, with a wide array of dining and shopping options nearby. Overall, Hotel Jen is a highly recommended choice for a quality stay. I strongly recommend it!

Hotel was located conveniently near Orchard Boulevard MRT station (brown line). Room was clean but amenities felt lacking. The TV wasn’t a smart TV and it didn’t allow screen-mirroring. The pool was also too packed at 4+pm. We paid for club privileges which was an absolutely disappointing experience. Teabreak options were salad and 2 types of cakes (cheesecake and kueh lapis), with unlimited soft drinks. Evening snacks were a little better but the food menu felt like it was just different cuisine being forced together: biryani, cold pasta, salad, thai vermicelli salad, mushroom soup, dough fitter, seaweed roll, teochew kueh, cheesecake, cheeseboard. Kinda felt like random dishes were served and most of the food tasted below average. There was also no service – you had to pour and mix your own drinks (hard liquor/wine/champagne).
Breakfast was decent though. Would recommend doing away with the privileges, the food quality was definitely not there.

The room size was just right, and the hotel environment was grand and clean. There were staff members who spoke Chinese, which was a great help. The hotel building itself is a mall, so there's food, drinks, a pharmacy, and a supermarket all conveniently located. You can see the hotel right from the subway station, making travel super easy. The breakfast was delicious too! The pool on the ninth floor was very clean and not crowded at all. The gym was also very spacious. Absolutely fantastic!

This hotel is super close to the MRT station, just about 100-200 meters away. On the second floor, there's direct access to a mall which has a few eateries and a big supermarket. The room itself is on the smaller side, similar to what you'd find in a Japanese hotel, but it's perfectly adequate for a comfortable stay. The hotel's breakfast buffet is quite impressive; my daughter even said it was the best she had in Singapore (though maybe we just didn't find other great restaurants). There's an outdoor pool downstairs that's open from 8 AM to 8 PM. Plus, the Singapore Botanic Gardens are nearby, and it's fantastic to go for a morning run there! Traveling with kids, this hotel is definitely worth recommending! The service is excellent, the environment is great, and the breakfast spread is incredibly rich. Plus, the swimming pool is spotless.

Location: Orchard Boulevard MRT station is conveniently right across the street. A taxi to Sentosa Universal Studios costs around 150.
Facilities: The king-size bed in the double room is very large and can comfortably sleep 2 adults and 1 child. We booked two rooms for our parents and kids and were given connecting rooms.
Cleanliness: Clean.
Service: The service was excellent. They didn't charge extra for the 12-year-old for breakfast either.

I came here with my kids and parents, and we booked two rooms – one for five nights and the other for three. Overall, I'd give it a five-star rating. Although some reviews mentioned it feeling a bit old, and it is an older hotel, the rooms we got seemed to have been recently renovated. They felt modern and were in good condition. We booked a twin room for three people and were upgraded for free to a family room with one double bed and one single bed, which was arranged upon check-in without us even asking – very thoughtful! My family of three slept very well. The pool isn't huge, but it's perfectly adequate. The women's spa has a hot tub in the shower area, which made up for the lack of a bathtub in the room. We were even able to continue using the pool and showers after checking out. The service was also excellent – warm, attentive, and thorough. When I asked for ice, a robot delivered it to our room! Housekeeping cleaned our rooms daily and was very meticulous; they even tidied up our cosmetics and placed them on a towel, which was a very thoughtful touch!

I stayed here with my child alone, and the service was excellent. The breakfast was quite extensive too. The room facilities were pretty much complete, and housekeeping was prompt. The only minor downside was that the swimming pool was a bit small and located on the fourth floor, not an infinity pool, but my child still had a great time.
