Arcadia Hotel in Singapore

Was there on 12th August and the experience was not as what we expected.
Overpriced because of cover charge the management should consider if patron dine in of minimum spending to waive the cover charge 4 of us came n the bill came up to $151 Which we only had 1 drink n main course similar to a middle up market eatery. Taste of food already so so if we have paid for that kind of price. We go to other live band place which we pay for either just drink or with food and never pay for cover charges. Plus the singer are like having a time of their own on stage though they play the songs requested. Not exactly the kind of experience I had else where.
If I need to sing and experience the kind I had that night I rather pay to go to community centre which is lower cost, similar experience and even get to sing.
Or we have came on the wrong set of singers and also was our 1st trip there think waiter / waitress should make an effort to explain about the cover charge. Else why we still paying gst and service charge if they do not do any of these?

Was there on 12th Aug. The 2 male singers on the 1st set were talking among themselves. Poor interactive skill and treated the audience invisible. The food is not impressive! For such a place, cover charge should not be imposed! It's not up to that standard. Or probably consider waiving off cover charge with a minimum spending. Personally, this place is over-rated. That will be my first and only time there.
