Supermarket 5 mins away along with restaurants and bars within a few minutes walk. The swimming beach is a 15 min walk but worth it when you get there

We didn't go into Sochi itself so cant feedback on its location for the city or into the mountains as we were there specifically for the Grand Prix

On the whole it's worth the money I paid and most likely I would stay at the same place next time I arrive in Sochi.
