- We booked three non-refundable rooms. Unfortunately, one of our family members was unable to join us for the trip, so one of the rooms was no longer needed. We suggested several alternative solutions and hoped the hotel might put itself in our position and find a compromise that worked for both parties. While we understand that the booking was non-refundable, and therefore the hotel was not obliged to accommodate our request, we were still disappointed. Given that we had three bookings during the holiday season, we would have expected a hotel of this standard to offer some flexibility or alternative solution without incurring any loss of profit.
