The bungalow was acceptable, had everything we needed. The sheets were not changed while we were there but did manage to get a change of towels after 3 days. The park itself is like a maze and can get very confusing took us ages to find our bungalow. It's a fair walk to town and at the top of a hill so ok going down but not so coming back.

Very run down. Furniture very old. Bed so old that you can feel the springs! Fridge broken inside and does not keep things frozen, not good when you're self catering. The towels are very old and are obviously washed in dirty water as they are oily and don't dry you. Location wise, it's about a mile to town and another half mile to the beach. I know this is budget accommodation but it's really really rubbish!! I wouldn't recommend to anyone.

I booked 9 nights in this accommodation. Lets just say it is not good and i was back in the UK 3 days later..............................
Firstly, i had emailed them previoulsy to ensure that i was near a good wifi system due to work comittments.
Secondly, when i arrived my room wasnt ready - i had been on the go since 2am and this was 11.30am. I had a wait of 2 hours before i could get booked in..
The rooms are dated, dull and dingy, however, everything worked. I.e. kettle, toaster cooker etc. The baths are corroded both inside and on the outside- picture attached - although there was hot water and It was clean enough.
Everything except the wifi worked and this is what really annoyed me. Please dont go here if you require a wi fi connection. In this era this is a must and this place needs to get into the 21st century and realise customers wont ask or expect less. There is no english TV either, hence if the weather is bad its not very good.
I would certainly not recommend going these apartments

The bath tub was horrendous, cracked, holes in it, rough to sit on and the side was broken mouldy wood. Old worn out frayed towels, small, brown water, but always hot.

I guess okay for the price. Reasonably good location, breakfast is okay, rooms seem clean, bit very old. As is everything. The last century gym and sauna is only open from 9am till 2pm, which seems like a very stupid timing, without any trainable expectation. But stuff was always nice and helpful!! Tried to make the best of what they've got. Internet is a catastrophic failure most of the time and only availably in certain areas.

Ok, I'm going to be really honest here. reading the reviews I really wonder if we stayed at the same place. Got back on Sunday after a week at the Castillo Beach. Our holiday was lovely but we won't be staying at the resort again. It's fair to say that the pictures on the website are massively out of date, check in process is extremely disorganised and the receptionist was very rude and very uncooperative.
We are very much of the ethos that you get what you pay for- you can't buy a Mini and expect a Rolls Royce and although we didn't expect the Ritz- I don't think we are unreasonable for expecting that the appliances are not only in good working order but also clean. I really don't care how old something is, it doesn't need to be ultra modern as long as it still serves its intended purpose and is sanitary.
Having already had my nose put out of joint that our room still wasn't ready an hour and a half after arriving, having been on the go since 2.30 am with a two year old ( these things happen right?)- we were told that the previous occupants had not vacated our room and we had to wait- but that it's not their fault. Nice.
We get to the room and are overcome by the pungent smell of very cheap disinfectant. Now I have to be fair and say from first impression the general cleanliness of the apartment was fair, clean floors, kitchen area and bathroom ( apart thick black dust at back of toilet systern) were all tidy---very, very old--- but tidy.
Ah the beds- erm.. different? me and my fiance did not sleep well the entire time we were there, they were in dire need of changing- you could literally see the springs through the sheets ( old sheets with holes in them), and every time you moved they popped! not comfortable in the slightest. The bed that our son was sleeping on, i think its fair to say has been there since Jesus was a kid. Bowed in the middle where it has obviously taken a lot of weight over the years, cushion covers old, worn, tatty and faded.
Appliances,
Never used the microwave- we didn't need it.
The kettle absolutely caked thick with Limescale- i realise that the water is harder over there but still!- took it back up to reception and asked if we could move to another room as we weren't happy. She was very very unhelpful, disinterested and frankly confrontational. The cupboard doors were all warped and cracked and the fridge was a phenomenon! Rusty, cracked door, running hot- but full of ice in the top, because it had literally not been defrosted since 1852. The cleaning ladies looked horrified when I brought it to their attention- but lets be right- if they are as thorough as you would hope- it would never have got to that stage??

The shower head was cracked and worn and sprayed in all directions because the seal around it was broken. It also couldn't be manipulated into position, so you literally ( with your nose touching the tiles) had to stand as far underneath it as you could. Now maintenance were down within half an hour, with a brand (newer) fridge- it worked- which was fine,
a Fan- because we had booked a room with Air conditioning and there is none. A clean kettle and some sheets for our son's bed- because there were none. They also sent us a bottle of Cava. In itself apologetic and it was appreciated, but i'm afraid the damage had already been done in terms of our impression of the place. It certainly hasn't spoiled things for us as we were down in the town or on the beach for the most part ( a lovely place )- and it is as they say - a place to lay your head. I have paid less and stayed in nicer though.
We also bumped into people who had paid for all inclusive and had eaten out every night because the food was poor. We never ate there so I can't comment. I think a lot of the time it comes down to what you are realistically prepared to accept. We tried to use one of the pools on the park- the nicest one- and were told we couldn't as it was all inclusive members only, The pool in our side had tiles falling off the sides and was scruffy. Basics' one thing, tired and knackered is another- Its your money

I was self catering and the kitchen in accommodation was fantastic. Microwave, full oven and 2 ring hob.
Basic accommodation as expected but very clean. Plenty of towels and 5 English channels on television.

Fantastic pizza. Friendly staff. Very reasonable prices. This is not some high class restaurant. This place serves hand made pizzas just how they should be. The ingredients are fresh and good quality.
The pizzas are thin and crispy and the dough is good enough to eat by itself.
Highly recommended.
The attached photos do not do the food justice (it was after dark).

Excellent. Fantastic pizzas starting at €5 and garlic bread at €3.50. Can't beat the quality or price. Will definitely use again.
