Stunning hotel with excellent facilities. We were offers a room upgrade and enjoyed a junior suite. We were on B&B board basis and this was lovely with lots of tasty options. We used the padel court and yoga classes which were fab! Would definitely return

All the staff made this stay excellent. Only 2 small grumbles, as this is a 5* hotel. Room had no Electric shaver socket, also woyld be nice if the room had USB pirts for charging cables. Everything else we absolutely loved. We will be booking again 👌

Wonderful one night stay. Pity roof top bar and Amora restaurant closed in early week.
Champagne on arrival, wine in room. Spacious and nice decor. Japanese style toilet great.
Had couples massage in Spa, wonderful.
Only Buffet restaurant open - reasonable value at €30.
Drinks in general reasonable for a 5 star property.
Will be back!

The hotel is stunning apart from the quality of food. Stale bread, tasteless foods and the buffet is so bizarre. Nothing makes a complete meal.
The standard of the evening buffet is poor and for anyone who is looking for a complete meal then you have no chance. Deserts are tasteless mush.
Asked for fresh bred that wasn’t like a rock and was told no. It is what it is was the response.
Well what it is is poor. Lovely accommodation and facilities but that’s where it ends. Sorry.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff were very good, rooms were lovely, public areas clean tidy and not too busy, there are plenty of sitting areas and the food was excellent. The location is good, in a quieter area but with bus stops not far away to take you anywhere you want to go.
The only thing letting it down a little bit is the evening entertainment. 2 of the acts we saw were very good, 2 were ok but the other 3 were pretty poor which was a shame. But overall I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Lava Beach to anyone.

Fantastic stay at the Lava Beach hotel. The 5 star rating is truly justified.

Rooms were large and well finished, robes and slipper included.

Spa facility for massage was great and worth the extra money.

Restaurants in 200m either direction if you don’t want to eat in the hotel.

Breakfast was great and the Cava was a nice touch.

Drinks and bar snacks were all responsibly priced and the piano bar had live enetertainment everynight which was great for a night cap. Will definitely come back.

Distance to Puerto del Carmen centre is around a 30 minute walk, €4.5 in a taxi. Great to break the day up.

From the moment we arrived, to our departure, the entire stay was fantastic. Friendly staff throughout. A variety of food selection for breakfast and evening meals, always plenty to eat. The room, and in fact throughout the entire premises it was tidy and clean. Enjoyed the massage treatments, on a couple occassions.
And we also enjoyed the little putting green one evening. The beach and promenade are at the bottom of the hotel, so a small walk. Overall we had a fantastic time and would happily stay here again, and would recommend to friends and family.

The hotel is excellent and everyone working here is so friendly and attentive. The room was spotless everyday and all the facilities including the pool and gardens were very well maintained. Drinks were reasonably priced and the food at the hotel was excellent quality. Location is close to the airport so good for a short break. But if you are coming for a longer trip I would suggest you hire a car to see more of the island. Special shoutout to Monika from the rooftop bar who was very attentive and friendly.

Amazing hotel, however the first room given would not be classed as 5 star due to the view over unsightly gravel ground . Second room was lovely however.

Nice McDonald's, old fashioned in style, food cooked to order so expect a wait but when it came it was very tasty, fries could have been hotter but they were well cooked. There are a few different menu items from the UK. You can order beer. You can't have an iced mocha frappe as part of your meal deal (not even if you pay extra) and ketchup is the only free sauce (others are 30p). I had the Mcgrand Bacon as we don't have this in the UK and it was very nice. We didn't bother with a Mcflurry as they were €2.75 which is double the price of the UK!!
The staff were very nice.

Was very clean and nice restaurant. Seemed slightly understaffed for a lunchtime but service wasn't too slow. Had two special grande burger meals where by you could purchase headphones for only 1 Euro extra which was cool. Not used them yet but they look similar to Beats ones. Food tasted fresh and your usual McDonald's standard to be fair. No complaints there. Only downside is they don't have self service napkins or ketchup so you have to ask at counter which can be awkward when they are busy.

Good location, relaxed atmosphere and good friendly service. Beer good @ 2 euro a pint and cocktails 5 euro. Food also good value. Moat football games covered but today it's German as I'm outnumbered. Not to worry it's overated and overkill now on the football that is lol

The first bar we went to on our arrival at Los pocillos / puerto del Carmen. We went to this bar every single day we arrived as it's the best wee bar in Los pocillos area. The view across road is unrivalled as you look straight out to sea/beach. Serves great food, and the best bit is the chest freezer that is used for ice ❄ cold glasses for the beer ?! Amazing! Staff are funny and awesome!
