Beautiful hotel with lovely rooms which are modern & clean the beds are really comfortable. The whole hotel is clean and well maintained with lovely pool area food is good and bar is not expensive. The hotel is situated brilliantly as lots of lovely bars & restaurants surround it and a short walk to the beach .. Definitely recommend this hotel staff are very helpful & friendly we will definitely come back ..

The hotel was fantastic in every way, from check-in to check-out. Staff were very helpful and really went the extra mile. The public areas were kept spotlessly clean, as was our room, which had a lovely, sunny pool view and very comfy beds. The food was really varied, with a daily themed night, as well as the usual dishes you’d expect. Waiting staff were really attentive and tables were cleared really efficiently. The hotel is really convenient for walking to the main square of Coralejo but certainly not noisy. All in all, we had a perfect holiday from start to finish and would certainly return.

This is a beautiful hotel with amazingly helpful and friendly team throughout. Hotel is immaculately clean throughout, with really lovely spacious rooms that had great soundproofing so no noisy neighbours. We were half board and the food was consistently good and varied; would be great if option to swap evening meal for lunch but not available. Location is really good for the resort. Would definitely return.

We stayed at the Barceló Corralejo Sands for seven nights on a half-board basis, as part of a package booked through TUI. Instead of using the TUI airport transfer, we chose to rent a car for the week, which worked out well. Although the hotel has an underground garage, we had no trouble finding parking on the street just outside every evening. The hotel is conveniently located just off Corralejo’s main high street, within a short walking distance of shops, restaurants, and the beach. The port, where you can catch the ferry to Lanzarote, is also easily accessible—about a 15-minute walk away. Check-in was quick and efficient, and we were in our room in no time. We stayed in a first-floor “suite”, which was clean and fully functional, though slightly plain in terms of décor. The bathroom was modern and spacious, featuring a walk-in shower. The room also included a sofa bed area at the rear, along with a separate TV, which added a bit of extra space. Breakfast and dinner were served buffet-style in the main dining area, located in the open basement beneath reception. The food was varied, plentiful, and of good quality. While drinks were not included, they were reasonably priced. Dinner followed different themes each evening—such as Mexican, Spanish, Italian, and Canarian—which kept things interesting, alongside consistent options like pasta, pizza, and fries. Although we didn’t make use of the pool facilities, the hotel has a large central pool area as well as a separate children’s pool. Overall, we had an enjoyable stay. The hotel delivers well on the basics—cleanliness, food, and location—but the overall feel is somewhat lacking in character, particularly in the rooms. Some areas could benefit from a bit of maintenance, although refurbishment work (such as painting and door replacements) was already underway during our stay. We would rate the hotel 3.5 out of 5 stars, with its strongest points being value for money, family-friendliness, and excellent location.

This is our second trip to this hotel and neither have disappointed. It is situated close to the shops and also the music Square if you would like to visit there on an evening. The rooms are spacious and clean and bright. The whole hotel is spotlessly clean and smells delightful. Reception staff and the guest relations manager Georgia were welcoming and incredibly helpful. The Pool area - although we have been in March and April so cannot comment in the height of the summer - has always been pleasant and well-maintained and mostly sunbeds are available. The food is fresh and plentiful and replenished frequently. All of the staff who we came into contact with were more than pleasant and cheerful. With a special shout out to Anna and Juanjo at the Breakfast buffet - always there with a welcome and a good morning Thank you for a lovely visit.

This hotel was clean tidy very friendly and really good service, food good and a nice relaxed vibe, great location for everything.

Excellent hotel, very clean and friendly staff. Great location very central. Great selection at breakfast. Pool area not open until 9am, strict on this which means you dont have to be up at silly o clock putting out towels.

We had a lovely holiday as a family of 12 staying in 3 rooms. The pools are well maintained and the children really enjoyed the children's pool. Reception staff are friendly and helpful as are the bar and restaurant staff. Overall, a great holiday!

We had a pleasant stay at Barcelo Sands, Corralejo at the end of January. We have used the Barcelo brand a couple of times in the past at Caleta De Fuste. All the staff were pleasant and helpful. Our suite was very nicely furnished with the Barcelo branding and a super king size bed. It was clean and tidy and visited every day by the housemaids. We enjoyed a ground floor suite a few yards away from the pool with a terrace that caught the sunshine all day. A couple of reclining sun chairs would have been a bonus but the standard chairs were fine. On the minus side our suite was next to the pool bar kitchen which could be noisy at times with the sound of pots and pans being washed up in the metal sinks. The grounds are neat, tidy and well cared for. You are given a wristband at check-in which acts as your electronic door entry. It has a ‘chip’ in it which the door recognises and unlocks. We booked half board. The food was generally of a good quality. The restaurant area can become a bit cramped if you pick the wrong time and as usual with buffets people have absolutely no spacial awareness when walking around the various counters. Breakfast is the standard buffet fayre with plenty of options for all nationalities. At breakfast there is a drinking water dispenser which is taken away for the evening meal session leaving you no choice to buy a small bottle of water for 2.2 Euros. Very annoying. All drinks are charged to your account which you settle at check out. You register your credit card details at check in. A glass of house wine is a reasonable 2.8 euros but make sure that you get the yellow paper carbon copy which you sign to your room number. On a few occasions we had to ask for the copy although there is no date written on the slip and it is difficult to read what has been written anyway. It’s a very old fashioned system for a modern hotel. This wasn’t ultimately an issue but was more of a worry that our account might be incorrectly charged as we are normally ‘pay as you go’ customers. For peace of mind we felt the need to check our account half way through the week. It’s fair to say that had we had more confidence in the pricing of drinks and the billing system we might have easily spent twice as much as we did. For a modern hotel we would have expected an electronic receipt with room number for each transaction as you would in a normal bar. The Theatre bar is a low key affair hidden away at the back of the restaurant. We saw solo singers using backing tracks. We had a few drinks in the bar which were also ‘added’ to our account but again we had to ask for a copy of the yellow paper slip. If you are on the ‘All Inclusive’ package this appears to be the only bar you can go to for your after dinner drinks. The hotel doesn’t appear go out of its way to promote the bar probably for that reason. The hotel has tried to stop sun bed reserving but sadly despite their claim that they will remove towels and belongings after 30 minutes this

The hotel is fantastically located in the very center of Corralejo, right on the main shopping street, yet it remains a true oasis of peace and quiet. The hotel has its own unique atmosphere, and you immediately forget that you are in the heart of the city. Moreover, the location is an excellent base for trips to the sand dunes, Grande Playa, Popcorn Beach, Lobos Island or Lanzarote. If you wish, you can also take bus number 8 to El Cotillo or to the Hondo volcano, and bus number 7 to the capital. Spotlessly clean rooms, delicious food, and a different cuisine every day – for example Mexican, Moroccan, Italian… I truly recommend this hotel!
