Hotel Princess Taurito - All Inclusive in Taurito

I booked a double room - clean and functional. Had a smart TV however no apps on it or option to download which was very disappointing. Only had access to handful of loval/ international channels plus some sports/news ones. Not ideal if you’re planning to chill at the hotel.
Only thin sheets available which wasn’t the best as it can be a little frosty over night. No irons in the hotel - only dry clean service which I’ve never encountered fresh bottle of water daily.

Facilities in the hotel were amazing. Gorgeous pool, Billiards space available. Multiple restaurants and bar areas. Multiple lounge spacing near the pools.
Worth noting though quite a bit not included in all inclusive drinks package e.g mojito etc cocktails not available at main restaurant - only tap wine, sangria and beer.

Food let hotel down, even for an all inclusive it was really bad at times. Breakfast was good but lunch was consistently not up to par. Dinner service had some choice. Easy to get by.

Staff were the shining factor for my stay. All very busy but so happy to help. All had a smile on entire time, made me feel very welcomed especially as a female solo traveller. Felt very safe at the hotel.

Good value for money. I would return.
Also bus stop is less than 10 minutes walk - very good transport links you can get bus to/from airport for 6 euros!

Good location near to beech. Clean hotel and room plenty of sun beds and you carnt reserve them good idea. The food is tastlest and not warm enough plenty of chose though. While thare some people had up set stomachs. Staff are helpfull and polite. The out side restaurant is viseted with doves on the tables and near the food.

A very memorable holiday, from the moment we arrived until we left the staff were so friendly and helpful. The hotel was very clean throughout and you saw cleaning staff throughout the day. We had upgraded our all inclusive experience and the rooms was a good size with a nice balcony looking out to the sea and there was a daily maid service with fresh bottled water daily. As we had upgraded we had use of a smaller restaurant for Breakfast and the evening meal was à la carte with a variety of dishes to chose from, the starters and desserts were help yourself but the main was served to you. There was a good selection of wines and other drinks. breakfast was buffet style with it being refreshed regularly. The bar areas were spacious with a good selection of drinks and with our upgrade there was more on offer. The pool area was good with strict rules in relation to saving sun-beds before 10am if you left your towels they would be removed and this was actioned the first we have seen. The upgraded sun-beds had cushions and were worth the upgrade. Smoking was only allowed in the smoking area which again was managed as was the rule of not taking glasses to the pool. The main restaurant we used for lunch and was well organised with a great variety of dishes. The entertainment program was good with something each evening and you were able to find spaces and sit away from it. The main bar had televisions were football was a regular feature. The resort was not noisy but with a nice vibe going on as appropriate for the time of day. The general area outside the hotel was easily accessible there was a water park within easy walking distance along with crazy golf. The beach was also accessible with volcanic sand. Well worth a visit we will plan to return

Just got back from this most beautiful of hotels. From the moment we arrived we could see how this is more like a 5* than 4*. The furniture is amazing throughout the whole hotel and the views from your room are beautiful. The branded drinks from the spirits to the San Miguel were an added touch we didn’t know anything about. We didn’t upgrade to Esencia as it was full but felt like we didn’t need to in the end. It was that good we tried to stay for an extra few days but unfortunately the hotel was fully booked due to it being the summer holidays. I myself have travelled all over the World and spent time in many top hotels but I can assure you that this hotel is 100% in my top 3 ever. Another thing is that we will definitely be returning in the very near future.

This hotel was recommended by friends but we weren’t impressed, we paid extra for the “Esencia” upgrade and personally I think this was a waste of money, in my opinion the upgraded room was no better than the standard room, there was a mirror in the bathroom and a full length one by the door so a struggle for two people to get ready to go out and only one bin in the bathroom when I asked about this I was told the management didn’t want the housemaids emptying two bins I know this might sound petty but the bin soon got full. The food in “The One” restaurant wasn’t up to standard not much choice and served on cold plates until we complained then we couldn’t touch the dishes but the food was hot .. the food was much better in the normal restaurant and the plates were hot . The management did make it up to us by giving us a hot special meal on our Anniversary night and decorating our room which was nice but wouldn’t have happened if we hadn’t complained. The hotel is beautiful and the staff were amazing especially Victor in the bar he made the best Mojitos also the Rep Dawn was extremely helpful. One last thing it’s a bit isolated we hired a car to get out and about. We wouldn’t go back to this hotel and wish we had read reviews before we booked it .

The best hotel we have ever been to. Food delicious and variety, everyday plenty to choose from. Drinks all original alcohols and well prepared , not deluded. Staff the most helpful and most friendly ever. Rooms spacious , clean and well equipped.

Stayed here in the middle of October as a family group of 4 adults, a child (3) and a baby (4 months). Arrival We arrived at the hotel just before midnight on a Friday and it was only our family group checking in so it was quick and easy. They give you a wristband which also acts as the key to your room which was fab as you never had to worry about leaving the room without a key. Hotel All of the staff are lovely and always willing to help. The ground floor contains the main restaurant, reception, lots of seating areas, desks for tour operators, spa and car rental as well as a drinks dispenser and the salon Princess which is where the kids disco is in the evening (8:00-8:30). The first floor has the night bar, outdoor snack bar, pool areas, splash pool and the Solarium which is where the evening entertainment is as well as the One restaurant for Escencia guests. This has to be booked for evening meals but no bookings are required for breakfast. We only used this restaurant once for breakfast as a member of our family did not have the Escencia wrist band. Breakfast was very similar to the main restaurant with a few additions such as fish, fresh juice and milkshake. The vibe in the One restaurant was much calmer and quieter with lovely sea views. I did however prefer the main restaurant because the staff were more attentive and quicker at clearing plates away. There is the main larger pool which is split in two as one half of it is in the Escencia seating/sunbed area of the pool (not really any better than the other areas). There is also a smaller pool which we used more as it was closer to the kids splash pool area which was fab, lots of sprinklers, pouring water and a slide. The smaller pool is still deep though so can be used for swimming. A lifeguard is shared between the smaller pool and splash area so kids need to be accompanied as the lifeguard is not always present. Both the large and smaller pools can only entered by ladders or sliding in off the side, there are no steps down and are too deep for young children to stand up. There is a shop on the ground floor which sells souvenirs and all of the things that you might forget to pack. They sell sun cream and nappies but quite expensive so may want to bring from home, a pack of swim nappies was 14 euros! There are no irons in the room, a laundry service is provided but expensive (prices in photos). One thing that was a bit of a nightmare in the hotel was the lifts, multiple times us and others were stuck in the lift (only for a few minutes) as one lift would always get stuck on the 6th floor and not move and the other had doors that were trying to open but then wouldn't. All this along side lifts that were closed for being cleaned. For the week that we were there only 1 or 2 lifts were working at any one time, there are 3 lifts in total.
