Aparthotel Los Dragos del Sur in Puerto de Santiago

I stayed here with my daughter last year. The hotel is in a great location. Close to bus stop, shops, beach and restaurants. There is a Lidl about 15 mins walk for shopping. The room was clean and spacious with everything we needed - cutlery, crockery etc. The beds were comfortable and the a/c was lovely. The pool was small but perfect. We never had a problem getting a lounger. The pool bar served lovely drinks and food. The gym was basic and some of the equipment didn't work, so we ended up not using it. It was too hot as well as no a/c. But that was a very minor negative. The breakfast was amazing!!! So much choice every day, we couldn't have asked for more. It was the best thing about the hotel in our opinion. The staff were friendly. Overall we had a great time and I would definitely come back to this hotel. I've already recommended it to others in my family.

This is a nice,clean hotel with very friendly staff. The location is excellent and is on a fantastic public bus route. There are eating places near by and a supermarket directly behind the hotel.The beach is a short walk, although we went to a beach in the next town Los Gigantes and it was better! The breakfast we had included was great.Self catering was possible but limited in the apartment. The apartment had 3 bedrooms and was clean and spacious for a family of 5. The pool area was small but suitable for our family and we always got a sun lounger. If they would just add into the pool bar menu a bowl of chips for a quick bite everything would be perfect ! . The area is very quiet so we did venture to La Playa de Las Americas further South on the bus. The 1 hour trip was worth it for the older kids. I would still recommend this hotel.

We stayed in Los dragos hotel 3 times .Excellent hotel ,very nice helpfup staff , clean big apartments, great location , beautiful ocean view , very nice breakfast, nice and quiet swimming pool , very relaxing not to crowded hotel close to the beach, shops and restaurants , bus stop just outside the door across the road Would definitely stay again

4th floor apartment near quiet pool area and terrace which was open for drinks until 6pm. If you have difficulty walking this area would not be for you as quite hilly. No beach here you have to walk each way to a,beach and only small 30 minutes to the right on a sea front path to Los Gigantes and 1 hour to the left to Alcala. You have to walk to the promenade in each direction. Room spacious and equipped with all the basics, very clean and all the staff cheerful and friendly. Breakfast adequate for our needs and varied. Room cleaned regularly and it was my birthday and I was left a basket of fruit and a bottle of Cava, a lovely surprise. supermarket 100 yards away just to the left of entrance. Bus stops literally a minute away with easy access to the rest of the island and well worth buying a 10 Euro ticket for a day pass to go to other places. No airport shuttle and it was 60 euros for taxi one way. 477 or 473 takes you to Adeje bus station for 4 euros and then the 40 from the bus station to the airport, easy and saves a lot of money, takes around 2 hours. Reception friendly and helpful. Car hire 3 doors up but no cars until after 25th December.......I wonder why?? Beds have memory foam mattresses and were comfortable. as we are not look people would have loved a recliner on patio but not much space. Hairdryer 10 euros for the stay in cash, returned when you take the hairdryer back. All in all a great stay, not too noisy, built up but not a massively busy resort. Only thing I would change is the hotel offering an evening meal although next to the hotel are a number of good eateries all to good standard.

Hotel is great and have stayed many times. Staff friendly. Breakfast great. Rooms lovely clean and fresh. Would give full marks but for now they have no English TV channels. Lovely flat screen tv on wall but nothing to watch. Had these channels until March 24 then disappeared. Told they would be restored but stayed Sept 24 and still not resolved. Will have to cancel future xmas stays.

Had 3 days at this lovely hotel, apartment spacious and clean. We had breakfast included with wide choice of options. The pool bar was lovely great price and lovely views. Got a bus to Los Gigantes whilst there. The town has a couple of hippo Dino express supermarkets and lots of lovely restaurants. Would recommend

We stayed here in April for a 5 night break and the hotel was pretty much everything that we expected. It is a 3 star hotel and that is reflected in the price as well as the general presentation of the hotel as a whole. The rooms were really well presented and the kitchen area was well stocked. Nice balcony overlooking the sea for a small additional cost. The staff were so welcoming and helpful from reception to catering and cleaning teams. The breakfast selection was excellent and caters for many tastes and has plenty of hot and cold dishes on a buffet basis. The pool area was nice and secluded and there were plenty of sunbeds available whilst we were staying. Plenty of local buses taking you to other towns and there are some good coastal walks to Los Gigantes in one direction and Alcalá in the other and the buses are nice and cheap too. Overall we found it to be very good value for money under and made for a really relaxing break.

My wife and I came to visit for our anniversary and we couldn't have picked a better place to stay. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean with a beautiful balcony view of the sea. On the 4th floor the Pool and Gym are located.The staff were very pleasant and professional. The hotel is central and just across the street is the bus stop which we took to spend the day in Los America's. In the other direction is a nice walk to Los Gigantes(about 20mins) all in all a not too hectic break.
