The hotel is located in a very nice and peaceful area. Upon our arrival, we were greeted with a glass of Prosecco, which was a lovely touch. The staff were very kind and polite throughout our stay. We had booked a basic room, but we weren’t aware that it had connecting doors to another room. Unfortunately, we could hear quite a lot of noise from the next room, which made it difficult to relax. We spoke to reception about this — they weren’t able to move us on the first night but asked us to come back the next morning. Although we didn’t have a room for part of the day, they eventually managed to move us to a standard basic room without connecting doors, which was much better. I think it would be helpful if the hotel clearly mentioned in the room description that some basic rooms have connecting doors, as this affects privacy. Before our trip, I had read many mixed reviews about the food, but I can honestly say it exceeded our expectations. There was always a wide variety to choose from — usually two fish and two meat options on the grill, along with plenty of salads and other cold dishes. The pool bar also offered burgers, hot dogs, sandwiches, sweets, and more. The only small downside was one of the lady chefs at the pool bar, who sometimes disappeared or took quite a long time to prepare burgers, which caused a bit of a wait. The other chefs were great and usually prepared food in advance, making things quicker and easier. The pool bar staff were absolutely amazing — friendly, cheerful, and always in good spirits! The entertainment was enjoyable too; we especially loved the Flamenco show and the Detroit Boys performance. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel and would happily return in the future — I’d just make sure to request a room without connecting doors next time. Aside from that, everything was wonderful!

This hotel is so much more than I was expecting for my first solo trip! Th location could not get any better! I arrived at about 10 pm so had missed dinner but they open the restaurant at 10.30 for late arrivals. I was given a glass of Prosecco while checking in. Reception area is beautiful with fountains and lots of seating. I was on the 4th floor and there were 4 lifts available for each wing. My room was really nice with twin beds pushed together. A balcony with a beautiful sea view . Lovely little bathroom with a fantastic shower. Air-con, safe and a mini fridge too. Buffet restaurant for all meals and the choices were unlimited! Food was delicious and so fresh. Unlimited cocktails, soft drinks and tea/coffee all day when you book all inclusive. Beach is literally 1 minute walk away and it’s really well maintained with a bar , lifeguard and restaurant (not part of the hotel) there is a really nice pool with plenty of loungers. There is also a really nice area to sunbathe right next to the sea but not on the beach that cost 5€ per day where I could access the deeper sea via some metal steps. Peguera is a 8€ taxi ride away if you want so more nightlife or shopping. I can’t wait to book again!

Great hotel, extremely clean with a good gym & relaxing spa on site. The beach is stunning with incredible sea views & perfect for swimming. Staff are incredibly helpful throughout the hotel. We've been 3 times & will be booking again. Highly recommend!

This hotel is beautiful and modern — I couldn’t have found a better place than Alua Gran Camp de Mar. Great value for money, too! Our room and bathroom were spotless, with comfortable beds and a beautiful view! The food was amazing, very tasty, with a wide selection. I loved that they really thought about everyone, offering gluten-free and dairy-free options too. All the meat was well cooked and flavorful – I wish I could eat there every day. The staff did everything to entertain the guests, and I love places where I feel important. The music was very enjoyable too. I appreciated that they switched off the loud music outside at 11 pm, so if someone wanted to sleep they could, while the party was still going on inside the bar.

I booked a 4 night stay at alua gran camp de mar as a birthday suprise for me & my partner and we could not have wished for a better holiday experience. we’ve visited numerous all inclusive hotels over the years but this one was definitely our favrouite and has set the bar high! The all inclusive food was great for all Inclusive, they did a different cuisine every night, Mexican, Chinease, Spanish eg and there was so much option to choose from. The hotel itself is very clean, the surroundings are beautiful and It has the perfect spots to enjoy your evening meal, and have a drink overlooking the sea. It’s perfect for couples or someone looking for a relaxing quiet holiday. All the staff were super friendly and accommodating and all looked happy .we really enjoyed our stay and didn’t want it to end, we could not recommend this place enough to anyone and will be definitely returning every year.

Stayed at this hotel for 5 days and absolutely wonderful. All staff from front desk to cleaning staff friendly and helpful. The food was plentiful and a vast variety and all well cooked. The hotel and grounds were absolutely spotless. Quieter locality but amazing views but within easy reach of areas like Andratx and Palma. Local taxi rank literally 2 minute walk from the hotel and Local transport is very easy to use. All in all a wonderful time spent in Camp de Mar.

It took 2 weeks searching looking for an holiday with a great location, and wow!!
It didn’t disappoint. A truly beautiful location with a very very relaxing atmosphere.

Only 30 mins transfers in taxi that was very reasonable 50/60 euros

Staff couldn’t do enough for you and was full of energy. Greeted with a glass of champagne on arrival.

Entertainment every night although the bar shut promptly at 11:30pm

Rooms basic but clean and was cleaned every day.

Pool area washed down early every morning. Hotel floors at reception constantly being cleaned. Couldn't fault it.

Drinks and cocktails was all good as was bar staff.

The only thing that let our holiday down and it did in a big way was the food!!!
loads and loads of choices but nothing good! and we tried! We really did try, but nothing tasted like it looked or should have ! And all very very repetitive.
We both struggled to eat after day 2/3 and although all inclusive we decided to eat out at a lot of extra cost..

A shame because we would have loved to come back.

The location makes this holiday amazing. Greeted with a smile and a glass of bubbly! Beach clean and water soo clear. Hotel spotless. The drinks token system means there are no dirty glasses around. Staff soo friendly and helpful. €5 for the private sun loungers on the waters edge all day worth it. Picture perfect adult only bar on the first floor. Port Andratx just a €7 taxi away and worth a visit. Boat hire a must. Entertainment great! Negative: The food. I’m a fussy eater, my husband is not. By day 3 we couldn’t cope anymore with repetition and the fact that everything tasted over seasoned with garlic and other spices. Nothing tastes as it seems . Yes there was plenty of choice but when you see the sausages from breakfast used again at lunch and dinner and carrots from the evening before laid out for breakfast it’s very off putting. Overpowering smell of fish at lunch and dinner made walking in the restaurant difficult. Desserts, looked beautiful but dried out mouse etc. Free for all at the salad area meant I watched lots of people from certain cultures using hands to handle cheese and meats. I wouldn’t then eat them. And beware the fish in the salad and potato salads etc. there are snacks in the pool bar mainly burgers and chips, some unusual sandwiches and doughnuts. My Husband walked in to get a burger as they were cooked and laid out ready. The ‘chef’ pointed at the clock as it was 5 minutes off the formal service. As such, 5 minutes later the burgers were dried out and cold. Not used to the culture of being bumped into and jostled just for food. Sadly we had to go to the mini market to get crisps and sandwiches etc to keep us going. Never been on holiday AI and come back having lost weight. Overall, if you like a beverage then the AI is worth it but have low expectations for food. Hotel, location and staff made this holiday. Would have done 3 stars for the food but location and staff bumped rating up to a 4.
