Vell Mari Hotel & Resort in Can Picafort

We were welcomed by the friendly receptionist and quickly given our room key and directions. The next morning we took in the room with more detail and found it was recently refurbished. The pool is cordoned off until 10:00 until 18:00 when the lifeguard arrives. The food was tasty and they catered for dietary needs (Celiac).

Entertainment is limited but Katerina and time gave it the best with limited resources ( Hotel management please help support the team especially in the evening

Before we arrived we saw lots of bad reviews BUT cannot understand why? Great staff, very clean, tasty food. One review was it only catered western food? If you want English food stop at home

There is always other places to visit in the world, if the price was right for a short stay then YES we would visit again

First family holiday with 7 month old Really nice hotel, loads of green space and nature and away from the hustle and bustle - which is what weve always liked with holidays Staff always friendly everywhere - always happy to help Nice location - about 10 minute walk from beach and some smaller shops and restaurants and cash machiene which we walked a few times - Option to catch the Ting Ting train stios outside Hotel- check timetable for times. Very handy though to get into the main bit with more restaurants and shops which we did once. Great just opposite across the road is a Lidl - which with small baby was handy for bits Hotel room very clean, nice size - we had family room - travel cot provided, fridge, safe (didnt use) and bed was comfortable, balcony nice also. Rooms newly refurbished which was nice - cleaned daily Hotel areas and grounds were clean and restaurant too. Pool and pool area very clean - one big pool and a small childrens pool. We were at the pool every day - never struggled to get a sun bed, life guard always present during pool opening times. The also inside pool and spa facilities which we didnt use. cash deposit for towels but get back after youve finished with them Pool bar was good, always someone there to service and was keeping area clean, self service for fizzy drinks, fruit juice and water and there is a snack bar there also with burgers, hotdogs, pasta, chicken and salad and fresh fruit and bread, do have to buy ice creams at the bar though - if didnt want this food could always eat at restaurant Main restaurant always clean and tidy, staff very friendly and welcoming, constantly cleaning, always staff from kitchen checking on food and rotating bring out fresh food and keeping areas clean Fresh bread section, made fresh to eat section, hot food section, salad and cold food section, fruit section, dessert section, and more - wide variety of food! Always found something to eat and was nice food at each meal time, do agree not all food labelled however most food was obvious what it was Bar near restaurant nice also to sit in, had the football on too We also did watch some entertainment - which was good, would be handy to have an entrainment board for the week so we knew what was happening before the night One site shop and arcades and play ground area- we didnt use but handy to know We also had some photos one with the photographer in the hotel - which was really nice and a memory of our first holiday as a family - very friendly Overall whole experience was excellent, we would definitely stay here again as we think its great for families - we plan to return in the future

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel and would happily return. The food was excellent, with plenty of variety and high-quality options throughout our stay. The entertainment was enjoyable and provided something for everyone in the evenings.

The sports facilities were a real highlight, especially the tennis courts, football pitches, swimming pool, and padel courts, all of which were well maintained and easy to access.

The location was perfect – close to the beach (5-10 minutes walk) and right next to the a bus service to Palma and a direct bus to the airport ( by the tennis courts) , which made getting around very convenient.

Overall, a wonderful hotel with great facilities, excellent food, and an ideal location. Highly recommended!

Had a fantastic stay at this hotel and would definitely recommend it, especially for families. The hotel was spotless, comfortable, and had a really welcoming atmosphere from start to finish.

The food was excellent throughout the stay, with a great selection at every meal and plenty of options for both adults and children. The staff were all friendly and helpful, always happy to assist.

A huge shoutout to Alanna from the animation team, who was absolutely amazing with the children. She brought so much enthusiasm and positivity to every activity and really went above and beyond to keep the kids entertained and engaged. It was clear how much effort she puts into making sure everyone has a great time, and she was a big part of what made the holiday so enjoyable.

Transfer time from Palma is a bit too long with little ones I would make my own arrangements in future.

Overall, a brilliant experience and somewhere we’d happily return to in the future.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would happily recommend it to families looking for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, with a lovely atmosphere throughout our stay.

The meals were consistently excellent, with plenty of variety each day and something for everyone in the family to enjoy. The staff across the hotel were friendly and attentive, helping to make the experience even better.

A special mention has to go to Alanna from the animation team. She was absolutely fantastic with the children — full of energy, kindness, and enthusiasm every single day. She made a real effort to engage with the kids and made them feel included and excited to take part in the activities. Her warm personality and dedication really stood out and made a huge difference to our holiday experience.

Perfect, after a year of sadness, we are reborn in this Caribbean-inspired hotel. Congratulations to everyone for their courtesy and helpfulness. A special thanks to the management for their honesty and high level of professionalism. I will definitely return.

I ve been at Club Fergus Vell Mari in September 2021, we choose this club for our daughter and to celebrate her 2 year birthday.
The club was very nice and we had really great time at the hotel.
Rooms are little bit old school but very clean and comfortable. We had a nice view on the pool.
We spent 10 days at Fergus and the food was really nice too! Lot of vegetables, lot of fishes. We could have some typically Spanish food and also international food. Food was very fresh and people working at the restaurant were very very kind and helpful!
Animation team also were really nice! We had some great times all together at the club!
Wish we could be back there next summer!!

Very Nice place with friendly staff so highly recommended

Decent food. Pool inside could be bigger.
Rooms could use some renovation (some mould in bathrooms, big empty plants areas inside the buildings). Overall very good value for money ( I booked via sunweb paying 400euro for all inclusive plus flight) so shortcomings were expected.
