Hotel Vista Park in Can Picafort

We had an overall good stay. The hotel seems pretty new (or is renovated well) and is in great condition, unlike a lot of other holiday hotels. The room and hallways were also always clean. The pool is also well maintained. The beach is about 5-10 mins walk, and there are several small stores in the vicinity of the hotel. So overall everything was better than expectations other than a couple of downsides. There was no kids program or any kind of children's entertainment. This was a bit of an issue for as to constantly try to invent something on our own. There are also no proper playgrounds in the entite area (there are a couple of small ones for kids maybe until 4 years old). The second thing we didn't like was the dinner quality. While there was decent choice in the buffet, some of the things lacked quality (undercooked, overcooked, or too oily). This happened to us on several days. There are also no drinks included in the dinner buffet, not even water. While there is a water machine that is open for breakfast, they turn it off for dinner (I'd assume on purpose so people pay for drinks). I understand if they want to charge for other drinks, but turning off the water machine felt a step bit too far especially when no drinks included policy is not clearly stated at the time of booking the accommodation (probably included in some small footnote but that's not real transparency). The internet speed is pretty slow (around 3mbps) but that seems to be a thing in the whole area with even 5G phone connection giving little internet speed.
