Good location, nice but small hotel room. Good breakfasts. Really small swimmingpool area. For 260 euro a night I probably expected a coffee machine...

This is our second time staying in this hotel and we will definitely come back again. Staff are friendly and the property well maintained. All the amenities are very close by

The hotel is located right on the beach at walkable distance to restaurants, shopping and the historic town center.

The beach is gorgeous and the sea is so shallow, the sunbed/parasol hire was €6 for the bed and €6 for a parasol if you wanted one, per day and was from 10am-6pm daily

Me and wife Stayed in hotel end of March 2026 for a week from we arrived till we left made very welcome by all,In the morning uv a choice of breakfast we went for the healthy and the English breakfast was really lovely,The hotel and rooms r really clean r room was cleaned every day,You really couldn't ask to be any closer to the beach and you can hire chairs from the hotel aswell,I would stay hr again...

We are on out last day of 9 at this wee gem of a hotel. The staff are super friendly and they go out of their way to help you. We asked for an extra pillow and towel and they were delivered the same day

The ladies and Pedro who work at reception are first class and the lady at breakfast is so so lovely, helpful and an all round amazing person, One of the best bits is being able to take your continental breakfast up to your room and have breakfast in your balcony

Special deal for hotel guests and worth every penny. The kitchen is ran by a girl who won master chef and the food, the service and its presentation were amazing. We can out to run the Benidorm half/10k

The hotel is spotless and for a 3 star on jet2 we were amazed at how good it was. Super warm powerful shower and comfy beds. A must is to visit the restaurant attached to the hotel called Strat

Too cold to use the po,ol but the pool area looked lovely Definitely my "go to" hotel if visiting Benidorm, as it offers excellent value for money. Staff were all cheerful, friendly and helpful

The hotel room was immaculate and I was upgraded to a much bigger room with a massive balcony, which was thoughtful of the hotel. Breakfast was incredibly busy, so my advice would be to go as soon as they start serving

Hotel is great. Little bit further away from the old town than I wanted, but taxis are easy to get. Room was clean and cleaned daily. All.staff I came across were friendly and working hard.

This was my second time staying here. I like where it's located, maybe a little too far away from everything for some people, but if you prefer a quieter spot in Benidorm this is ideal

Plenty to choose from and things were replenished quickly. Tables were cleared efficiently so the whole process moved smoothly

All the staff I came in to contact with were very polite and helpful and looked as though they enjoyed there job Excellent location in-between the new and old town I was on full board plus and only cost a few euros more so worth the money if on a budget however the food wasn't good at all and definitely needs improvement as lacked taste and also variety Stayed here a few years ago but had alot better...

I didn't want to have to hunt someone down to make me an omelette. Gym facilities were basic, with limited equipment. Pool temperature was extremely cold, even during a hot week (28°C)

Nice big room, nice pool area but opening times could be improved, specially the roof pool why is it closed on a Sunday. Food breakfast and dinner very good range and quality. Shame that tea and coffee quality was poor

The pool bar area was nicely designed and the overall cleanliness of the hotel was excellent. Areas for Improvement: Service at the pool bar was slow, especially early in the week

The bed was incredibly comfortable, the breakfast was delicious and varied, and it's conveniently located just a five-minute walk from the nearest supermarket! If you enjoy a quiet Spanish vacation, this hotel would be perfect for a couple's weekend getaway! A special mention goes to the incredibly helpful reception staff who speak excellent English! I also highly recommend the spa at this five-star...

We didn't eat dinner as prefer to eat out - there are some lovely little restaurants a 10 minutes walk from the hotel. Rooms very clean with powerful aircon and a lovely rain shower

The star of our trip here was Cristina who was the staff member who went above and beyond to provide excellent service at the pool side restaurant. We are really happy with this hotel; the rooms and pools were amazing

They are very environmentally conscious, only changing sheets and towels if you request. Rooms are very spacious with a lovely little patio area (we had the "cheapest" room type and it was plenty big enough)

The room was very clean and the environment was great. There were two swimming pools and an outdoor bar, making it very convenient to order drinks. There was also a very rich breakfast

Highly recommend paying the extra for the superior rooms with pool view. The room is stunning, well lit and well looked after. The location of the hotel is prefect

Guests were extremely friendly & enjoyed great company night & day. Calm atmosphere wheather around pool area, restaurant or seating areas. On edge of old town so 15min stroll to strip or 5min in to town

Our room on the 7th floor has recently been upgraded with walkin shower and ceiling fan, cleaned daily with fresh towels provided (also towels available from reception for pool) All staff very friendly and do a great job Special thanks to David who kept us entertained with game around pool and quizzes at night

Not far from the main beach and old town. Quiet for those not wanting the noise. Pool area lovely, food excellent. Most guests return every year. Activities most days , evening shows were variable in standard

With it being a fairly small hotel, there is never a vast choice on offer, but more than enough to satisfy even a fussy eater like myself. The bar area is always clean and tidy and the waiters attentive

I was really pleased to see the refurbishment of the rooms – no longer tired and dark, the makeover gives them a clean, simple and bright feel. The bed was incredibly comfortable and everything worked

A great choice of drinks on offer. If you’re staying all-inc through a package holiday, you’ll likely be “blue”, which gives you a good selection of wine, beer and other drinks

Levante beach is 10 minutes walk away. There's also a little hut around the pool that serves soft drinks, snacks, alcohol & food

I thought it was great value for money. My room Is perfect with everything I need. Basic products , towels , toilet rolls not soap but I'm happy to buy this

I arrived yesterday 1/9/2025 and can not fault this hotel or the staff. We were greeted by Caesar on the front desk and he was helpful , friendly and welcoming. There was nothing wrong with the breakfast selection

Also , just met the housekeeper who was so friendly and lovely. I don't know why this hotel has got negative reviews. I've stayed in 5 stars hotel before and to be honest this hotel is brilliant

We had 2 rooms for myself ,2 daughters and 1 granddaughter. The rooms and balcony were great. We had room only, but the food in the bar was great. Would defiantly stay there again

Me and six friends stayed for the benidorm fiestas for four nights. The hotel is in a great location, a 15-minute walk to the new town and old town and 10 minutes to the beach

Staff were attentive and kind when we went in for a drink. Drinks very nice and a quiet atmosphere.

Had a fantastic evening meal in this restaurant, food quality and service were excellent, surprisingly on a Saturday night in November we appeared to be the only dining guests, the service was like private dining, with a beautiful view of the sea/sunset, thank you very much

The staff was very nice, specially Gloria in the restaurant and reception lady Martina. The hotel was very clean and modern looking. The pool space was very quiet and the "sauna" was a nice

Animation only on friday and saturday nights. The bar is on the exact opposite site of the pool which means no bar at the pool only a vending machine. No radio or music either in this space

This hotel is excellent you cannot fault it! Professional well dressed staff fab rooms which are large overlooking the sea large balcony spotless clean rooms and quiet this was our second stay we were on 19th floor food is excellent great entertainment at weekends wish we had stayed longer we will book again !

Restaurant with tasty food and much variety each day and through out the week. The terrace "La Terraza" is a pleasant space with good beverages in an amazing location. Cons: The drinks are not included, not even water

Lovely little friendly hotel amongst giants around. Amazing location, close to the beach and shops bars and restaurants. Anna on reception most helpful, bar staff attentive. Great roof top bar with small pool

Bar and Restaurant staff were lovely, warm and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble for them. We did not stay in the hotel, so we cannot comment on the rooms.

3 minute walk from the bars and 7 minute walk to the old town , very clean , all the staff were helpful … swimming pool and bar is very relaxing , breakfast was very nice , lots of selection

Ideal location between old town and new. Rooftop swimming pool cold at this time of year but worth a try. Lots of choice for breakfast hot and cold very tasty and filling

This hotel is on a great location , 5 minutes either side of old and new town and so close to the beach. My room was immaculate,bed was so comfortable ,slept like a baby. Daily maid service if required

Pool nice & plenty of sunbeds you could also hire a towel €20euros which got refunded when returned. Breakfast ok but not a great choice for fruits, nuts, cereals or nice yogurts so basic for 4star imo but fine

This was our second visit to the hotel Castilla and it didn't disappoint from the moment we walked into reception all the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful all areas of the hotel are spotlessly clean and the food was of a good standard with a relaxed atmosphere in the restaurant, the hotel is in a quiet area of benidorm but only a few minutes walk to the clubs & bars and less than 10 minutes...

This hotel is a short walk to virtually anywhere you want to be. Bars are not too close which is great for a good night's sleep. Plenty of options for bars nearby

There are no sunbeds only chairs and tables but it is quiet round the pool and perfect for a dip to cool off

It is not for the young ones here, mainly the people who stay are over 55 imo. The pool area as been updated and is a lot more modern then some of the earlier photo's on here

The pool only got the sun from 11am to around 3pm because it is in a built up area but only a 2 minute walk to the beach and old town

Entertainment most evenings but finishes at 11pm and it's a guy on a piano playing old time song's for mainly the elderly. The food was really really good and variety on the evening meal and breakfasts are breakfasts

We were half board but had to buy either water or wine for our evening meal and there was no coffee at evening meal either. Coffee at breakfast and juice was supplied

Each room had its own proper air-conditioning and worked fine without the need to insert a card into the wall like other places I've stayed

The hotel was just off Poniente beach. No view and overlooked by the apartment block across. Plenty of bars, cafes and restaurants around. 15/20 min walk to the tram station. Probably same to get Levante beach

Nice roof top pool which was different. Food was good but was very limited but what there was it was ok. Over pleasant stay and rooms was what you expect

Just got back from a week away and I must say this was a perfect find. nice welcome on reception friendly. room was on 6th floor lifts were a bit temperamental but got there

we were in bed and breakfast only but a wonderful breakfast choice , all hot a a good choice , fresh orange choice was amazing, all staff are so friendly and helpful

Enjoyed the roof top pool and night time entertainment on our last night in the complex will be memories to keep forever

Very nice hotel perfect for me and my partner AC was very nice and cool worked well food was delicious and staff were always helpful. In a great location not far from old town and local amenities such as shops.

The air conditioning in the rooms is efficient and I would recommend the place without hesitation

We're just back from a 3 night stay at this hotel in the Old Town & would definitely return! It's away from the hussle & bustle but still plenty nearby, we walked into the New Town, used buses & taxi is around 9-11 euro

Very quiet area and would say only problem we had which had nothing to do with the hotel was the tranfer doesn't drop you off or pick you up from the hotel and they don't tell you so took us half hour to find it but its only a 5 minute walk round the corner

El Palmeral is a great little hotel. It is spotlessly clean, with a lovely pool and modern furniture. There is a cafe with food options and the staff are very helpful and friendly

Room was basic but clean & fresh just what was required, we had a wee balcony, shower had plenty power, there's a fridge but no tea/coffee making facilities which I would of liked

There are not enough superlative’s to describe this hotel. After visiting a 5* hotel in Corfu and a 5* hotel in Sharm, I am wondering why the Benidorm Centre Hotel is not classified as such

Delighted with the room (206) and the hotel. Felt upmarket and was spotlessly clean on arrival. Room was also cleaned every day during our stay, with clean towels provided

Hotel is in a great location - 5 mins walk from Old Town, 10-15 minutes from New Town and a couple of minutes from the beach. Some people may find the music from nearby bars distracting, but we weren't bothered by it

The rooms are very spacious, comfortable beds and although I didn’t see “Carol the Cleaner” the rooms were clean and made up daily. We booked B&B and there is so much choice

The stay was great...the room was large and clean and the food was very good...then there was a pub with live music...and by the way...the girl who performed sang very well

Outside there is a pool,with a slide, baby splash pool and two bubble tubs to relax in. Excellent bar service to your tables. 5 minute walk to shops bars and the beach. Bus stops directly outside , which is a bonus

We were full board but the drinks in the restaurant and bar were very reasonably priced. The pool was cool but that didn’t matter to the children. They enjoyed the water slide and the smaller kids pool

rooms are spacious with two double beds. Bedding and towels changed everyday. The bathrooms have been refurbished great walk in shower and water pressure is fabulous

All the staff I encountered were amazing, so friendly. A lovely bar which looks out on the pool

My only reservation is that the pool was open to the road so there wasn’t anything to stop people from wandering in or the children from wandering out. This is why I have given it 4 stars

There is entertainment in the hotel, geared towards the Spanish, but, that’s fine as some of it is visual entertainment. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay and hope to return next year

There is a small but perfectly adequate pool and the surround has comfortable seating. There is a bar providing drinks and some snacks

We stayed on a room only basis but judging by the guest reaction to the restaurant the food was also of a high standard. The hotel aims at the Spanish market but was equally welcoming to non Spanish guests

clean hotel, decent air conditioning, and friendly staff. however I highly recommend bringing an extension lead if possible because there are hardly any plug sockets for charging phones etc.

Only slight downside is the lack of power outlets in the room but ours did have a multi outlet adaptor in the socket so we were able to charge phones etc. Good wifi throughout the hotel

The location is convenient for the port and old town area and a short walk to the beach. Plenty of cafes bars etc nearby

For how little we paid for the place, it suited us very well. The staff were amazing and attentive, and very helpful. The pool and surrounding areas were well kept and we enjoyed lazing by it

Ignore the bad reviews – we had an amazing time! A group of 26 of us just checked out and honestly, we couldn’t fault it. Yes, the rooms are basic – but what do you expect? It’s exactly what you need for a stag do

We arrived late on New Year’s Eve and the man on the front desk was spot on and very helpful. The room did have odd marks on the walls, but it was clean. I would recommend this place and would stop again.

Come to this hotel with two of my mates, shared an apartment. It was basic but nice, everything worked and was clean. We all found the beds adequately comfortable. The air conditioning was fab aswell

Really nice staff at the hotel, boss man on the bar can't do enough for you. Be warned he will try and sell you John Smith's, bought 74 as a trial in April and still had 4 left in August 25. 😄

Upon arrival it was all in darkness so we were very worried as we didn’t get to the hotel till 2am however the lights were sensors so once we walked in they came on. The reception staff were lovely and friendly

Cleaners came in everyday! We didn’t use the pool as it looked dirty with limescale around the edging, however this was cleaned on our last day. We used the beach which was only a 5 minute walk if that

The hotel is very clean, and cool on reception. Only thing is the air conditioning is not very powerful it didn’t cool the room much but was manageable

We had breakfast every day which was 8-10 very good times. With hot and cold drinks available too. It’s near everything you could possibly need

Looking at previous reviews I was so worried about staying here. We booked through a travel agency and this was the hotel we got

The food was excellent with a good selection. Pool area was quiet, only used by a few people, so finding a sunbed is not an issue. Larger pool with slides etc in sister hotel was used by families

Unfortunately it was too cold to enjoy outdoor pools, but beside this almost everything was perfect in this hotel

this was the main treat for us , food is amazing, and full board guests have wine included in the meals!!! You could expect delicious Paella every day, different type of fish ( monkfish was a killer) , seafood ( cuttlefish) , delicious deserts and tasty soup 🍲

The room was cleaned every day and towels changed. I really enjoyed my stay and will definitely come back

And I liked fresh fruits with every meal. If you can't find anything you like , there's probably something wrong with you. Hotel is placed in quiet location, but isn't far away from main attractions

Stayed here for a week in May 2025. I think I was the only English person staying which suited me just fine. I stayed b&b - there was always plenty to choose from and it was good quality
