Hotel La Cala Finestrat in Cala de Finestrat

We spent four nights here at the beginning of November, the hotel was lovely and spotlessly clean and was right on the beach. Perfect location for some winter sun. Staff were very helpful and so friendly with a special mention to Silvina who deals with the breakfast.
I had my birthday while we were and tbe staff left a small bottle on sparkling wine and two glasses for us to come back to. A very nice touch.

This is a lovely hotel thats right on the beach with amazing views. We had a sea view and couldnt be happier. Just couldn't enjoy it at night as the temperature drops. But nothing to do with the hotel. The room was spotless and had everything you need. The location for us as a couple was a little quite but it isnt even season and can see it would be a lot different in the busier periods. We enjoyed a walk into benidorm along the seaf front and the buses are really easy to get and cheap. The only thing that we didn't rate was the breakfast as it was very limited and would prefer to serve ourselves but the lady serving was very cheerful and lovely. Staff over all were friendly and very helpful. And there are some lovely restaurants, cafe, bars and supermarket on the doorstep of the hotel.

We are on out last day of 9 at this wee gem of a hotel. The staff are super friendly and they go out of their way to help you. We asked for an extra pillow and towel and they were delivered the same day. The ladies and Pedro who work at reception are first class and the lady at breakfast is so so lovely, helpful and an all round amazing person, One of the best bits is being able to take your continental breakfast up to your room and have breakfast in your balcony. A great start to the day. The hotel is spotless and for a 3 star on jet2 we were amazed at how good it was. Super warm powerful shower and comfy beds. A must is to visit the restaurant attached to the hotel called Strat. Special deal for hotel guests and worth every penny. The kitchen is ran by a girl who won master chef and the food, the service and its presentation were amazing. We can out to run the Benidorm half/10k. It’s about a 5k walk into the centre of Benidorm from the hotel or you can get the no3 bus which takes you in for 1euro 60 each, one way.

Just had a fabulous 5 days staying at Hotel LA Calla. Warm and friendly welcome. Staff are all so helpful ☺️. Very kind and thoughtful . It is a beautiful location right on the beach and central to shops and restaurants. Can't wait to return in the spring. The beach is beautiful and safe swimming. Great place to relax and enjoy. Gorgeous place, room is amazing views from the side sea room view wow. Staff are absolutely gorgeous so helpful, breakfast is continental and a very good selection. You can either eat in the cafeteria or take the tray to your room.

I will definitely come back again, and I would come back on my own as well, I felt very safe. 😊😊

I travelled solo 21st-24th October, at 60, and chose the hotel & La Cala as I felt it would be safe as well as looking amazing. What a perfect location, right on the beach with restaurants, bars and shops all on the doorstep. The views are amazing and the hotel is modern and lovely, with a great rooftop terrace. I only had the option with Jet2 holidays to book a single room with no balcony but this was fine, my trip being 3 nights. I am going to book for next year and go for a side view double room with good sized balconies and stunning views. I’ve tried to book a larger room on various sites but they are only offering a single room when I state 1 person, so I’m booking direct with the hotel. The breakfast was great and the lady made sure you got all you need. There were various pastries, breads, meats and cheese plus cake and sweet pastries, tea/coffee/fruit juice. There was a self serve part for cereals, two toasters and packets of biscuits. The room was nice, not overly large but you could take your food to the rooftop terrace or room if you wanted. The staff were really lovely, special mention to Belen and Pedro on reception and the lovely lady who served breakfast. They were so friendly, warm and helpful and they truly made my stay great. It was my first solo trip and I always felt comfortable in the hotel and on the beach, walking around etc. I noticed there were other solos around and the hotel said it was popular for solos, I can see why. The beach is gorgeous and the sea is so shallow, the sunbed/parasol hire was €6 for the bed and €6 for a parasol if you wanted one, per day and was from 10am-6pm daily. A visit to Strat restaurant attached is a must, fantastic dining experience. There is everything you want right outside the hotel and also a Carrefour supermarket across the road. I didn’t venture far as I went for a totally relaxed beach break but you can get to the Old Town easily on the No3 bus a minute from the hotel. I will go for longer next time to see Finestrat village up the hill and Altea. The full day trip round the whole area looks great. It was a hot spell when I was there, 29c but felt hotter. I met some lovely people, everyone seemed very friendly. I can’t wait to return next year for a solo break and can’t recommend it enough! Thank you to the wonderful staff xx

Had the best holiday at this beautiful hotel . Fantastic balcony view of the wonderful beach. Very clean room with extremely comfortable bed. Breakfast was served by the most friendly lady who some how managed to make everyone feel so welcome. The whole of the staff infact were lovely and both myself and husband can't wait to book again. Big thumbs up from me. Thank you

The hotel overlooks the beach, offering the most stunning sea views — waking up to the sound of the waves each morning was absolute bliss. The setting is beautiful and peaceful, tucked away enough to feel private and relaxing, yet all the restaurants on your doorstep ! There’s such a nice local feel to the area — calm, friendly, and never overcrowded — perfect for anyone wanting to unwind without the usual hustle and bustle. Our room was spotless, spacious, and tastefully decorated, with a balcony that looked straight out over the sea. The entire hotel feels well cared for, and the staff were simply outstanding — always smiling, helpful, and genuinely interested in making sure you have the best stay possible. Breakfast is continental with lots of variety and fresh produce. Served by the most happy lady who is just lovely!We also loved that there are so many great restaurants nearby — you’re spoiled for choice, from casual beachside spots to fine dining options. All in all, La Cala Hotel is a true gem on the Costa Blanca. Peaceful, elegant, and right by the sea — the perfect place to relax, recharge, and enjoy a little luxury. We can’t wait to come back! ☀️

Fabulous in every way. Lovely room on 3rd floor overlooking the beach with large balcony and even a sun bed.Cannot beat location . Staff all wonderful. Rooms very clean. Excellent bus route for getting about. Lovely bars locally but not noisy. Continental breakfast served by lovely lady, plenty of fresh baked bread , rolls and pastries.

We have just spent a lovely week in this fabulous little hotel. The position is directly on the beach, literally walk out the door, down a few steps, cross the pavement and on the beach. Our room was front seafacing and the views from the balcony were just gorgeous. We really enjoyed our breakfasts each morning. The lady serving them was such a sweetheart. Fabulous homemade cakes daily. Every member of staff were friendly , welcoming and polite. Our room was cleaned daily and fresh towels left if required. Would definitely return to stay here again.
