Okay for what was paid - had a few issues as in very outdated. Aircon didn’t work too well and rooms very hot and no fan in bedroom. Lift took a long time to get to floor. A nicely located modernised hotel. Check-in was easy and quick. The toom, for two, was a little small but cosy. The shower room was very large by comparison to the room size. Ample pressure and hot water. The AC in the room was new and though it is slow to respond, it works very well. The hotel was great, spacious room, with terrace + fridge and the shower pressure was great too. They had events in the night but you couldn’t hear it from the room, which it was nice. Parking is possible if you ask reception since it’s chaotic to try and park on the street. Overall I had a great stay!

The reception service was wonderful, cleanliness was phenomenal, lunch and dinner were bad, the same for lunch and dinner without replacement, they took away your cutlery, unfinished dishes, little variety of food, desserts, almost nothing, the only saving grace was the breakfast, no ice cream or yogurts nothing at all in meals

There's a need for multilingual receptionist, its not everyone that speaks Spanish. The communication problem has led to many unanswered request by clients who don't speak Spanish because the receptionists don't speak other languages than Spanish. Put a call across to the hotel line now and tou will know what am saying.

Hotel staff friendly food basic but firdt class with room service

Hotel Mareny is situated near to the beach and the old town just a five minute walk to both. The hotel rooms were basic but spotless clean with free Aircon, and the shower was powerful with plenty of hot water. Breakfast was varied with plenty of choice. All staff were very friendly and helpful. A good budget hotel for a short break in Benidorm.

We got the family room and it was big enough for our family of four. Cleaned every day A great well run hotel close to all amenities and the food was superb always different varieties from the buffet and we all enjoyed every meal. Nice location, friendly staff, nice and clean

The shower room needs updating. Very out of date. The shower is from the hot water taps and cold water taps. Then having to reach to put the shower on the wall not good when you are over 70yts old. The other complaint is the breakfast. The only item that was hot was the egg because we had to wait for it to be fried. The rest was barely warm. Must have been made at 7am. I will not book there again.

The hotel was just off Poniente beach. No view and overlooked by the apartment block across. Not an issue. Plenty of bars, cafes and restaurants around. 15/20 min walk to the tram station. Hotel stay was prity good. Nice roof top pool which was different. Food was good but was very limited but what there was it was ok. Over pleasant stay and rooms was what you expect. One thing that was bad though was the drainage from the bathroom was shocking having to turn the shower on and off so it didn't flood the bathroom.

Stayed here for a week in May 2025. I think I was the only English person staying which suited me just fine. I stayed b&b - there was always plenty to choose from and it was good quality. Just returned from our 2nd stay here. It’s a cheap hotel in the centre of the Old Town. We were in Room 50 right next to the lift, so it was noisy, but I had earplugs which worked perfectly, and blocked out the noise. Stayed for a week just before Christmas. Room 10 on the first floor. The room was quite spacious and the bathroom had everything we needed. Huge shower with plenty of hot water. Very well located in the old town, breakfast was good, some of the staff were miserable. Room was dated with no fridge and a view of another building less than 10 ft away from the balcony. Bathroom was ridiculously small that I could wash my hands while sitting on the toilet! Noise a big issue with some groups staying there. Great location, poor staff and in dire need of some type of refurbishment

The location is unbeatable, right in the center, and the service is very good; everyone is very friendly. However, the room wasn't very clean, and you can hear a lot of noise from the street, other rooms, and even the elevator. Breakfast is a la carte and worth it; it was very good. Spacious apartment, needs some tlc, went for a week no maid service ie change bath towels, bed sheets. Set on a very steep hill. Beds comfortable but wrestled with the bedding. Bathroom very small. After reading some reviews we went with an open mind. Yes probably does need a bit of an upgrade,but like most apartments in benidorm we've stayed in. We stayed in room 2A and had no problems. Everything we needed. Spacious apartments.friendly staff n very clean, comfortable beds n sofa. We would definitely stop again next year . Also received our deposit back within a day.

Since they are apartments they are mostly populated with Spanish residents, some of which don't seem to like tourists. The pool area is OK but there's no life guard so pretty much everything is prohibited, you're better off walking across to the Hotel Monika and using the pool there. Taxi drivers don't seem to know where the place is either so you'll be walking back from Monika when you get dropped...
