Hotel Riomar in L'Escala

This hotel was decent for a one-star property but several issues significantly affected our stay. Firstly, accessing was a hassle - we weren't given the code prior to arrival and there was no one on the reception to assist us. Even after receiving the code, the key pad was in a poor condition and difficult to use The shower in room 203 was very worn and in need of replacement. Additionally, there was no hot water on two occasions, which was very frustrating We were offered a double room with sea view which was a nice feature. However, since the room faced north the terrace received no sun at all -.this might be fine in summer but it made the space less enjoyable on a cool spring day
