Hotel Riomar in L'Escala

I have not stayed at the hotel, but go here often for a coffee or ice cream on their terrace and appreciate the nice staff.

I also frequent here for massages with Cristina who is delightful, professional, knowledgable and skilled at her work. I would recommend her care to any guest or person in the area.

Amazingly quiet, by the sea and retro 70's. I'll repeat!!

Off-beat and very atmospheric. Superb service from fantastic staff. The food was very good, as was the wine. Very reasonably priced.

Stayed there for 4 nights last summer bit of a culture shock at first but then realised how lay back it was me and my son going back for two weeks this year quite , lay back , and enjoy

Rather afraid to post how good this place is in case it becomes too popular and loses it's charm. The whole place is very dated and well worn, but only so far as to be genuinely shabby chic bordering on tacky. I arrived on my motorcycle riding solo and chose this late in the day based on the google review from an earlier guest. I had planned to stop overnight on my annual tour but ended up staying a week. Pre season (June) and rather quiet I was treated like a prince, a nudist beach on your doorstep and very clean, a well maintained pool, Aircon, good wifi and excellent food and a decent wine list. I have stayed in the very best hotels and I found the food to be freshly cooked to order with a variety of choices, dining room decor is nothing to write home about but perfectly clean and decent. Staff went out of thier way to make me feel special. The only criticism is that the bedding is very 70's, but it didn't prevent me from really enjoying my stay.

wow, where do I start, I have been visiting L'Escala with my family for 13 years now, this hotel holds a special place in my heart, we regularly go here to get lunch and drinks, play Uno and pool, the staff are charming, it's a relaxing vibe. It is such a wonderful hotel with delicious food! honestly amazing!
