Fantastic little find. We really enjoyed our stay here. The location is great, and the room (and balcony on the top floor) was perfect for our trip. The hotel was very clean, and the staff were friendly and attentive. Breakfast was delicious (our only wish is that is was slightly earlier as we are early risers, but it was worth the wait!). We will be back.

Stayed here for 11 nights and it was perfect! Great overall service and everyday room service. It was really clean and the people who worked there were super helpfully and nice. When we arrived we could stash our suitcases at the hostel and when we left our flight got delayed, also that time we could stash the suitcases so we didnt have to bring it with us everywhere. It was really close to the city center!

Do yourself a favour and stay away from this hostel. I couldn't recommend cancelling your booking and finding a new place to stay more urgently. After reading the reviews we were looking forward to meeting friendly staff. This was quite the opposite case...The owner of this establishment was one of the rudest women my partner and I have ever met. She yelled at us for using their common area to drink some water and eat a light meal. When we asked what the issue was aand how we could find a peaceful resolution, she continued to yell at us and say "not my problem, that's your problem". She never smiled at any of her guests and made my partner and I feel very uncomfortable and extremely unwelcome. Not sure why she is the owner of this establishment quite frankly. Her attitude towards all the guest was disrespectful. To top it off, we continued to find stains on our bed sheets each night. I repeat, Do not book this accommodation.

Me and my girlfriend had a great stay at Hostal Mediterraneo. The owners, Mom and son, are excellent and very friendly hosts. The room is ideally situated in the old town of beautiful Tossa only 5 minutes from the beach and a few steps from delicious restaurants. The owners love the place and take very good care of it. The bed was comfy, the small balcony nice for observing life in the streets and bathroom with shower was good and working well, too. Very good ratio price for money! The breakfast buffet is simple but good. We would definitely consider to come back, again. By the way, parking can also be found for free, not too far away. For safety, therevis a parking option for 8 euro, which is guarded 24/24.

That place is much more than just a hostal or bed and breakfast, it's just an unbeatable value for a price in my opinion. The rooms were really nice, location perfect but I want to say that a welcoming treat and care that you receive from the owners it makes your stay really special and wanting you to come back. I definitely will and I can recommend that hostal to everyone without any doubt! 😊😊😊

Had a great stay at Hostal Mediterraneo. It’s really more of a bed and breakfast than a Hostal. They recently renovated the place and it looks great. There’s a adorable garden space that I would eat my afternoon sandwich at. My room was very clean with lot of natural lighting and nice outside view. I stayed on the 3rd floor and there isn’t a elevator. My luggage was too heavy for me to feel comfortable to carry it up and down and Mediterraneo let me keep my heavy luggage in their personal locked staff room on the ground floor and just let them know when I want to have access to the room for my luggage.
Also the bed and breakfast has fast wifi ! The best wi-fi I experienced in Tossa de Mar.

There was problem with late check-in, even it was supposed to be prearranged - for that -1 star. Everything else was good, pleasant and friendly staff and clean rooms.
