We visit the hotel for over 25 years now, we have seen a lot of changes. I won't say they all are positive but for us the hotel is fine. I agree that 4* is to high back in the day the hotel was 3* but since the spa is there they get 4*... What people wrote about unclean rooms with dust and insects ect I have never seen that. It's ok hotel. The food was good though. They have a sign outside advertising a 3 course meal for 16 euros, but when you go inside, the waiter tells you that they don't offer that deal. In my opinion, they're misleading people and I'm not up for it. On the positive side the service was adequate, friendly staff and clean facilities.

It would be nice of them to clean the clime grates more often. Terrible dust in there. The food wasn't amazing either and people by the reception desk mostly unpleasant and unwilling to help. Too little information on opening hours of some facilities like external restaurant etc.

Arrived here Friday 29th August, we stayed in the 2 quad tripple rooms, both rooms were suitable, and clean. One room had 8 plug sockets. Had a good experience here... food was very good. Loads of options at breakfast and dinner. Room and bathroom clean when we checked in and the housekeeping team did daily cleaning. There are beautiful spots for pictures and the hotel has a beach right in front... it was such a good experience. Spa was good as well. I will recommend

You don't have to worry, really aldults only, not a big one, just on the edge of enormous hotels. Swimming poolis small but clean. Everything else you have to pay extra, not to be dramatic but I almost died - no espresso machine in the room, withc are clean and with huge bathroom but no bidet. We stayed 12 nights at Alegria Mar with the all-inclusive option and checked out today. Our room with a sea view was clean and comfortable, the staff was very friendly, and the location is perfect for both relaxing and exploring the area. A special thanks to Mateos and Jessica, the waiters who made our experience even more enjoyable. We would definitely come back!

Hard to dis-like Very friendly check-in and the room and hotel are in great condition. I like the area as it’s walkable to a lot. It’s hard to dislike anything other than perhaps the price.

Just had a very nice stay at the Maripins. All staff were polite and helpful, bar staff were brilliant always smiling. Hotel was kept clean at all times people constantly cleaning up any mess. Food wasn't brilliant, but wasn't bad either we didnt mind, some dishes repeated, but overall food was good. Drinks were good. Pool was clean and tidy next area to relax. Main elevator consistently did not work. All inclusive didn’t include many drink options or snack options. Food buffers for breakfast, lunch and dinner weren’t that great. Staff was great and the room was good. A/C actually worked too!!

The Hotel is very nice, location perfect, some staff very kind and professional and others simply incompetent. The room cleaning was needy. We didn’t get fresh towels, even they were lying on the floor. No toilet paper refills. The breakfast cutlery sometimes unclean. Bar staff extremely friendly and very sweet. After all a 50/50 recommendation. The value for money is good, so we would come back again...

Excellent hotel in terms of facilities and staff. A very nice pool, large and with varying depths. Also a good spa area and a variety of options at the hotel buffet. We would definitely stay again.

Nice hotel, relatively close to the beach. The big swimming pool that you can see from the hall is nice. We were here only one night in the family room that allows 2 adults, two kids and also a baby, so ideal for big families.
