What a fantastic hotel!
My husband and I stayed here during the IFBB World Championships in November 2025, and we couldn’t be happier with our experience.

The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-maintained. The furniture is in great condition, the bathroom is huge with a good shower, and the balcony was a wonderful bonus — large, with a sea view, a sofa, a table, and even a rail for drying clothes.

The staff were incredibly friendly everywhere: reception, restaurant, cleaning service, and maintenance. On our first night the kettle wasn’t working, and they fixed it immediately so we could enjoy our tea again. Really impressive service.

The hotel facilities are excellent: a spa, a salt-water swimming pool with jacuzzi features, sauna, and steam room. At the bar we enjoyed high-quality coffee, and the buffet was varied and delicious every day.

Overall, it was a fantastic experience.

Had a good experience here... food was very good. Loads of options at breakfast and dinner. Room and bathroom clean when we checked in and the housekeeping team did daily cleaning. There are beautiful spots for pictures and the hotel has a beach right in front... it was such a good experience. Spa was good as well. I will recommend

You don't have to worry, really aldults only, not a big one, just on the edge of enormous hotels. Swimming poolis small but clean. Everything else you have to pay extra, not to be dramatic but I almost died - no espresso machine in the room, withc are clean and with huge bathroom but no bidet. Nice terace and we were happy, no drinking people, staff is very polite, breakfast is good bu there are so meny exclentbrastaurants left from the hotel so it's ridiculous to spend money on tipical and not so good food . For playa yu have to pay extra bur wave are to stron for sviming- maybe just photo taking. I think next year new hotel is onder construction so be careful about noise.

We stayed in room 611 which had a stunning direct view of the sea and a lovely balcony with a sofa, table and a small drying rack for clothes which was really handy. The room had a comfy double bed, fridge, wardrobe big enough for two people and great air conditioning. The bathroom was spacious and the shower was amazing with hot water every time. The only small issue we had was a slight smell coming from the bathroom shower and toilet, but it didn’t take away from how nice the room was overall.

The food and drink in this hotel are honestly fantastic. We’ve been to many all-inclusives where the food is bland, but here everything was full of flavour and well-cooked. There’s a huge selection every day – meats, fish, salads, rice, pizza, chips, veg, fresh bread, desserts, fruit and pastries. Even picky eaters will find something they like. The food was always warm and fresh, and there’s even a microwave if you want it hotter. Drinks are great too – a few cocktails, beer, wine, sangria, soft drinks and bottled water which you can take as much as you like. If you fancy something off the all-inclusive list, you get 50% off, which is a nice touch. If you enjoy tea, I’d suggest bringing your own teabags.

The pool area is gorgeous – super clean, well maintained, and I saw it being cleaned every morning. It’s a saltwater pool, a bit cool at first but really refreshing once you’re in, with different depths to suit all swimmers and even built-in jets for relaxing.

The pool bar is spotless and the staff are so friendly – probably the nicest in the hotel along with reception. Always smiling and up for a laugh, and they’ll even bring drinks over while you relax. Just make sure not to go inside dripping wet as they’re strict about that.

Entertainment ran on a few nights during our stay and was great fun, with singing and dancing that got everyone involved. All the staff we met worked so hard and were always pleasant and helpful. Some of the managers could be a bit stand-offish, come across rude but overall the service was excellent. Special shout out to Jessica worked very hard and Matthias and Natalia.

The gym is small but has everything you need – treadmill, cross trainer, mats and weights. You book it at reception and can use it as often as you like for free. The spa facilities were good too – sauna and steam room both worked well.

A few extra notes: you get a card for your room’s electricity – just leave it in while you’re out, it makes things easier. The room key is built into your wristband which is super convenient. There’s a small tourist tax (about €18 for two people for a week). Towel rental is €10 per towel and you get it back when you return them. The location is excellent – right by the beach, a shop across the road, 12 minutes’ walk to the train station and around 1 hour 15 minutes to Barcelona. You also get 50% off at Kalima Beach Bar!

Overall, we absolutely loved our stay. The food, staff, cleanliness, and location were all amazing and we’ll definitely be returning!

We stayed 12 nights at Alegria Mar with the all-inclusive option and checked out today. Our room with a sea view was clean and comfortable, the staff was very friendly, and the location is perfect for both relaxing and exploring the area. A special thanks to Mateos and Jessica, the waiters who made our experience even more enjoyable. We would definitely come back!

Hard to dis-like
Very friendly check-in and the room and hotel are in great condition. I like the area as it’s walkable to a lot. It’s hard to dislike anything other than perhaps the price.

The hotel was truly a wonderful place to stay. The rooms were spotless, very comfortable, and well taken care of, and the cleaning service was excellent throughout our stay. The food was delicious, always fresh and varied, with plenty of options for every taste.
The location is perfect directly by the seaside with a beautiful beach just steps away, yet also close to the town center. There are many opportunities for outdoor activities in the area, from cycling paths right next to the hotel to scenic hiking trails nearby. After an active day, the cozy spa area is the perfect spot to relax and unwind.
We were lucky to have a room with a double view both the sea and the mountains, which made every morning and evening truly special. Another big advantage is the easy and convenient public transport connection to Barcelona, making it simple to combine relaxation with city sightseeing.
Overall, this hotel combines comfort, excellent service, and a great location. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for both relaxation and activities, and I would be more than happy to return!

For dinner, beverages including water are not included. Beach towel have a 10 Euro deposit each. Room safe’s are 5 Euro a day plus deposit. They are very strict on meal times. They close off dining room between meals.
