Rotten, rotten, I really advise all travelers to be careful what they buy because this hotel looks like it's a security system, no towel exchange, and wild boars roaming the hotel.
Besides, it's not a hotel, it's a kind of studio apartment because online agencies like trip.com supposedly sold us suites when there's nothing like that. The worst experience of all my travels.
Besides, I've decided to stop booking with Trip from now on because they're scammers.

Almost everything was great except for the handling of the pool towels and especially the fact that we paid €30 for a late check-out (12:00) since we were leaving on a trip on Sunday and wanted to go to bed late to be well-rested. At 10:00, a cleaning lady woke us up, even though she hadn't been instructed to do so. When I called reception, they said they had no record of me having booked that service until I told them I would show them the charge when I returned the keys. At that point, they admitted they had just seen it and apologized, refunding the €30. However, what they didn't refund was the rest they took away from me and the exhausting journey I had to make.

Our stay went very well!
The hotel staff was welcoming and very professional. We received an upgrade to our room, which was very satisfying 🙂.
The Resort's location is excellent if you have a car, as it's located between Marbella, Fuengirola, Benalmádena, and Malaga.
But without a car, you risk spending a lot on Ubers, even if the prices aren't too expensive.

I had a highly disappointing stay at this so-called “resort.” First off, I wouldn’t even call it a resort—it’s more like a low-class apartment complex on a huge plot of land filled with timeshares. From the moment I arrived, the experience was unpleasant.

The staff is unprofessional and unfriendly, especially a young blonde-haired receptionist who seemed to have no interest in helping guests. The front desk was completely disorganized and didn’t bother to provide any assistance in finding my room. When I asked for help with my bags, I was told, “You must do it yourself.” This lack of basic hospitality was shocking.

The rooms are extremely dated and desperately need restoration. They look and feel neglected, far from what you’d expect at a place advertising itself as a “resort.”

To make matters worse, the van driver ignored me entirely when I tried to ask a question. At first, I thought he didn’t understand English or Spanish, but it became clear he was just indifferent. It was incredibly frustrating to be treated so poorly throughout my stay.

Overall, I felt unwelcome and disregarded. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for a pleasant, relaxing experience. Save your money and find somewhere that values its guests.

A Traumatic Stay and Nonexistent Security

I am a 15 years old girl, and this stay at Windham Grand Costa del Sol will remain etched in my memory, but not for good reasons. What was supposed to be a peaceful family vacation turned into a traumatic experience.

During our stay, our room was broken into. A thief stayed inside for 20 minutes without any intervention, despite the presence of security cameras. This incident had a profound psychological impact on me and my family, especially on my sense of safety. Since then, I have been unable to sleep peacefully, constantly fearing that an intrusion could happen again.

For a hotel that claims to be prestigious, I expected them to ensure the safety of their guests and take situations like this seriously. Instead, this experience has left me feeling vulnerable and unsupported.

I strongly advise against this place for anyone seeking a safe and peaceful stay.

I didn’t even stay here.

I wasn’t allowed a refund when Malaga was suffering extreme flooding at the time. I’m a solo traveler who couldn’t even get the the accommodation because Malaga had floods in the airport and water pouring in through train stations which were shut off.

I have seen videos of the surrounding areas of this accommodation and it was suffering severely- to not be granted a refund because I couldn’t physically get there or want to stay in a place where I didn’t feel safe is shocking.

I will be taking this further.
