Very unprofessional and unreliable — they will cancel your accommodation the night before your trip and are extremely rude.

I chose this hotel because it has a good location. However, unfortunately the hotel is very different from the photos, the rooms are smaller, we didn't have a window inside the room. The shower doesn't have anything to protect it, so when we took a shower the water was on the floor. They should do maintenance because the establishment had broken things. It's difficult to have a good rest because you hear all the guests. At reception the staff were friendly but there should have been more communication and interaction with guests. I hope my comment is only constructive.

absent staff, refuse to communicate with you if you don't know English and Spanish, moving on to cleaning, your room will never be cleaned and they will never change towels, bathroom and room are not divided, I would not return

This hotel is not too bad, it is very central in the city, it is quite basic but it is enough if you just need a decent room in a decent location. They provided some bread in the common area for the guests which was quite nice. All of the keys are electronic as well which feels very modern

it is a very simple hotel but in a great location, the rooms are simple with simply a small TV, however they will provide you with breakfast if you request it ahead. The people there are so nice and kind, very friendly and you can easily start a chat with them. they have a common room where they provide you with tea and coffe. but it was good for the money you are paying and they are very close to Casa Batillo (100 foot away) this was a great advantage.

This hotel was as expected. It is in a great location. I will say reception was great and super helpful. The room itself was small but the beds were comfortable and they provided three pillows per person which was awesome. There was an AC that kept the room at a comfortable temperature. The bathroom was small and you may need to flush a few times. There is a community area with utensils, a microwave, etc. that came in handy. There is no elevator so walking up and down the stairs can get a little tiresome. It’s exactly as described so I can’t say anything bad about it.

It's kinda budget hotel. You may hear your neighbors at night . But it's right in the heart of Barcelona. Great location. Close to everything.

We were looking for place where we can store our luggage while we are discovering some attractions in the city. Google maps showed us nearby, we asked a guy who turned out receptionist at the BCN City Hotel. He was super friendly and helpful. We left our luggages there for couple of hours for FREE!💖
We are deeply moved and grateful. Of course we bought chocolate to express our gratitude.

I didn’t make it to stay at this hotel. I am last minute tested positive and had to cancel the trip. The hotel charged me for the entire booking. I could understand if they charge me for the first or two nights. But they charged for the entire booking that I didn’t stay. I admit they have to right to do so. but when I read their reply to other comments asking people to delete their negative comments because they are suffering a hard period of hotel industry, how about show some understanding to your customers too for the special period?

The location is really good and close to main attractions. The staff is nice however we had to wait for almost an hour to check in as there wasn't any person in the reception in the evening.
The room was very small and the beds aren't comfy and we ended up having back pains. It was yet clean.
