The hotel was very clean and tidy. The hotel dinner, however, was quite unappetizing. The staff were a bit cold and indifferent. It's a 10-minute walk to the church, so it would be great if the hotel could offer a shuttle service there and back.

One of my all-time favorite hotels and DEFinitely my favorite in Barcelona. They recently renovated, so it feels modern and much more spacious. The service is truly impeccable, they make you feel like royalty. During my last visit, Alex valeted my car and gave us a personal tour before bringing our bags up. An absolutely phenomenal stay with an insane view (A balcony room is ALWAYS worth it) I highly recommend arriving before 8:00 PM to enjoy the infinity pool and spa. The restaurant was a 10/10 with incredible food!!!!

What a Gem! We are living near buy… we have almost the same view… but the new management company the new refurbishment is amazing … we know this hotel since some years but after a busy day in town you will feel on holidays ! Servie is good room are nice and well refurbished ! And the view !!!

I stayed at this hotel over the New Year period and unfortunately left disappointed, despite the beautiful setting.
The property itself is visually impressive, and I would like to highlight that the porter and the spa staff were genuinely kind and professional.
Prior to arrival, I contacted the hotel in advance as a solo female traveler, explaining that I was specifically looking for a room matching the website visuals — particularly a room with a balcony and sea view. I paid the supplement for the view, as I was hoping to watch the New Year’s fireworks from my room.
The room I received did have a partial view, but no balcony. Only one window could be opened, positioned on an angle and not directly facing the sea. The overall layout and experience of the room were significantly different from the visuals shown online, which prominently feature rooms with balconies.
When I raised this issue and showed the website photos, I was told that these were “promotional/marketing images” and that the actual room might differ. I was asked to wait while alternatives were checked, but no solution or room change was offered. I was also informed that the window won't be opened.
Several operational issues further impacted the stay. The room phone was not working, meaning all communication had to be done via WhatsApp. Despite reporting this, the phone was never replaced, so I could only contact reception via WhatsApp or by going downstairs myself. There was also a noticeable drainage-like odor in the room, which was not addressed. Additionally, no in-room information was provided (room service details, minibar pricing, or contact numbers), all of which had to be requested manually.
In terms of value, excluding the spa, three meals (very light portions, no alcohol) amounted to around €230, while the food quality was correct but not memorable. For a hotel positioned at this level, I expected more attention to detail and a stronger sense of hospitality.
I politely shared these concerns in writing during my stay and asked whether a commercial gesture could be considered. Unfortunately, my message was seen but never answered, and nothing was offered at check-out.
While the setting is beautiful and some staff members were kind, the lack of attentiveness, clarity, follow-up, and resolution made the experience feel misaligned with the hotel’s luxury positioning.

We stayed at Mett Barcelona and were absolutely delighted! The hotel impresses from the very first moment — stylish interior, cozy atmosphere, and an amazing location. Since the hotel is situated on higher ground, it offers excellent views of the city, especially stunning at sunset.
A special pleasure is the luxurious spa center. Even during the colder season, it remains incredibly warm and comfortable: every detail is carefully thought out so you can relax and truly unwind. After just a few treatments, you feel completely refreshed. This SPA one of the best In city, if not the best.

The view is truly astonishing, and the recent renovation of the hotel has been executed with great care. While the service could benefit from some improvement(except the valet parking), the beauty of the property and its amenities more than compensates for this. Once again, the view is absolutely mesmerising.

Special Thanks to Ali E. – he was my main contact during the stay and truly showed genuine hospitality at the highest level. The location is unique, offering a stunning view over Barcelona and surrounded by beautiful nature. Of course, you are about 30 minutes away from the city center (you should be aware of that), but that’s exactly what makes it special – a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle. The area is quiet, I had a wonderful suite, the bed was super comfy and I slept perfectly. Breakfast was good and Daniel’s service was both warm and professional. In general, some fine-tuning is still needed here and there – both in operations and in small details – but the hotel has only recently opened. But this is a truly unique hotel in a unique setting and the pool and views are just WOW – see the photos.
