The location is good rooms are basic but clean. This hotel is advertised as 5 star. We have been here a few times and only thing thats changed is new sun loungers and from 4 star to 5 star. Great location for a quiet family holiday. Close to the beach. Kids pool with a slide and large pool with a big area where little ones can play (about 0.7m depth). Location is amazing 10 minutes walk from the hotel, loads of shops / food shops outside the hotel. Atmosphere is great very welcoming, rooms are a good and clean. Value for money not to expensive and it’s amazing. Noise levels at night is good. Service is great all the staff underhand English so it was easy to communicate. Amenities good.

I couldn’t praise this hotel enough, plenty of pools to chill around and the food was incredible especially at lunch. The rooms are average for a family hotel. Entertainment has been amazing and this hotel is very close to a lot of things bars, beach etc.

Outdated rooms in the Palace part. Everything is old, the bathroom has toilets with chalk stains, you have to stand in the tub to use a very old school small shower head. The water changes temperature. No active air suction in the bathroom, so everything is damp. No warmed mirror in the same room so just fog. Perfect from start to finish. Lovely family room, plenty of space for 2 adults, toddler and baby (cot provided). The first thing to mention is that we actually booked the Suites via Jet2 and with no warning were told we’d been “upgraded” to the Palace upon arrival. This came as a bit of an annoyance at first. Stayed at Hotel Surf Mar for 4 nights and had our 1 year old baby with us! From once we arrived we couldn't fault the hotel.
