The hotel has a lovely Park area, comfortable rooms and excellent cuisine. Here is the largest Congress centre in Lloret de Mar. The hotel has very nice SPA center. Can be recommended for tourists who appreciate high level of service and comfort.

So this is my final review on this hotel. We arrived late at night 1130pm, the whole check in process was fine until we got to our room and that's when it went down hill. We booked as 3 adults and there was a cot out in the room and a king size bed. After complaining to the reception (Bacary) i was told the hotel thought my son was a baby. Clearly didn't check the booking properly, after an hour of waiting about we had a bed put in our room (see pic) for our 17 year old son this was not acceptable. The following day we had a meeting with customer experience team and was not given any apologies for the mix up and was told basically there was no upgrade available and would need to stay in that tiny room. We reluctantly accepted. Onto the pool, this was ok although the sun beds was very uncomfortable they do have bigger beds but you do have to pay either €30 or €50. Pool bar like the bar inside the hotel very expensive hence why no one goes in the bar, €4 for a can of coke when there 89 cents at the shop. We stayed bed and breakfast, we tried this once and didn't bother after that. Everything served on tea plates and was luke warm. We didn't try the restaurants so can't comment on them. The grounds to the hotel was great I do believe this to be more of a 4* at the very most. The lady on check out tried charging me extra for tourist tax for my son even though he was 17 Upon arrival and they don't pay at that age and tried explaing this and requested why he was not charged on check in. She wasn't listening and had to go get a decision from manager I assume. Overall I would not recommend this hotel nor would we come back.

A great family experience. Very clean, good size rooms, excellent food but what made it fantastic was the entertainment staff. They went above and beyond and catered to all guests. My kids loved the kids club, myself and my husband enjoyed the classes. The evening live music was excellent. A special thanks to Sofia, Hector, Xavi for giving so much care and attention to my kids and Oriella for the excellent cardio and yoga class. The entertainment team made the holiday for us and would be the main reason for returning. Other positives: close to a bus stop, supermarket and beach. Delicious food and service for breakfast & dinner

Wow, what an incredible experience. Me and my boyfriend have just returned from a 5night stay here at Meliá Lloret de mar and I can not fault it whatsoever. The room was spectacular and spotless, the staff were kind the food on offer for breakfast was incredible and the food by the pool was delicious. The area surrounding the hotel was filled with activities and things to do and places to eat however the quality of food outside of the hotel was nothing in comparison to the hotel food. The activities on offer were amazing and the staff went above and beyond to get people involved. The hotel had an excellent atmosphere and I would definitely come again. Thank you for the excellent experience

I recently stayed at Hotel Meliá Lloret de Mar and had a mixed experience. The Good: • The location is stunning, especially for those who enjoy greenery and a garden-style swimming pool. • The rooms are modern and comfortable, with stylish furniture and incredibly comfortable beds – definitely a highlight of the stay. • The swimming pool is great for families, safe for kids, and well-maintained. • Breakfast was enjoyable, with a good variety of options. The Not-So-Good: • The dinner (half board) was disappointing: limited variety, poor presentation, and underwhelming taste. • Service during dinner was lacking – we had to search for a waiter to order drinks, and plates weren’t cleared until dessert (after we asked). • The restaurant seemed understaffed, which affected the overall experience. • At the pool bar, food took over an hour to arrive, again due to limited staff. • Kids’ entertainment was minimal, with short opening hours (10:30–13:00 and 17:30–19:00) and few activities or shows.

Rooms were lovely, clean and staff were very friendly. Activity were good, aqua aerobics was good craic. Monica & Jose were amazing in the spa also. Food expensive however, much cheaper in town.

I'll start with the positives, beds are the comfiest ive slept in on holidays and the staff are lovely. If you are posing as a 5 star then you have to be tip top. Wooden tongs for breakfast, definitely running the risk of cross contamination with food. 6euros50 for a beer in the bar is ridiculous. We are staying in a room on floor 4, we did request a low floor room but they couldn't accommodate. Maids come in and do a wonderful job of cleaning however they keep turning the air con off. Probably trying to save money. Our shower worked great apart from the head to wash your hair. Im in the room now typing this as well speak. The hotel is spotless but nowhere near a 5 star.

Absolutely loved our stay here and confident we will come back! brilliant entertainment around the pool and grass areas, some days yoga (both in and out of the pool) another day aqua dance, there was fitness classes outside as well as a free onsite gym which we didn't use. rooms cleaned daily if you like, lovely shampoo, shower gel and conditioner provided in the rooms. Breakfast had a great selection from fruits, cereals, pastries, hot food and my personal favourite the boiled egg and omelette section ( made fresh) . positioned brilliantly close enough to everything but a nice distance from the *****. The bus stop to go to Barcelona for the day is round the corner from the hotel. honestly 10/10 stay, not one fault . Major thanks to all the staff for making our stay so nice! cleaners, entertainers, reception and bar staff !

Defintiely a 5* hotel. Great hotel from start to finish. Booked bed and breakfast so had access to the morning breakfast buffet which had a variety of options and drinks including champagne. The pool area was relaxing and quiet, with access to bali beds and loungers. The resort didn't feel busy at all, and the staff were all welcoming. Would return.

Nice hotel, but it surprised me that a five-star hotel has no complimentary water, coffee or tea??? We even have to “borrow” the water cooker! The comforting points are personnel: great staff at reception and restaurant! The buffet breakfast and dinner are at average level... not to compare with other five-star hotel we’ve stayed!
