Only problem was that night time suddenly safety box start to piiping and didn’t stop no matter what we try.. then we called reception and after half hour somebody (nice) person came to fix it. It would be nice that level hotel they would give discount for future staying because it was ruin 2 hours our sleep. But like I said hotel and evening show was super good! Thank you!
We talked to several other guests who felt the same way.
The rooms were also average, as I was expecting a bit more for a 4 star resort.
Pools were decent although maybe a little small for the quantity of guests at the hotel.
Bar areas 10/10, staff lovely and very friendly. Sports bar was a must visit - remember your €1 for the pool tables!

The location is excellent – just a 10-minute walk to the Faro Lighthouse and about 20 minutes to the stunning sandy dunes and beach of Maspalomas. It’s a great base for exploring the area while still feeling like a relaxing retreat.
The cleaning service was excellent, with our room cleaned daily, fresh towels provided, and the mini bar always fully stocked. Everything was well-maintained.
One of the highlights was definitely the food. There’s a wide variety of restaurants to choose from, and everything we tried was delicious. The Steakhouse in particular stood out – highly recommended if you’re a meat lover!
There are several pools to choose from, including a beautiful infinity pool overlooking the ocean, a quieter adults-only pool for total relaxation, and a fun, family-friendly pool area. Plenty of loungers and shaded areas made it easy to enjoy the sun without the stress of having to reserve a spot early.
The animation team kept things lively with daily activities and entertainment – from aqua aerobics to evening shows – so there was always something going on if you wanted to join in. At the same time, it was never intrusive, and it was just as easy to unwind and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
The staff were friendly, helpful, and always made us feel welcome, which really added to the overall experience.
All in all, we had a fantastic stay and would happily return to Riu Gran Canaria in the future!
