Vista Oasis in Maspalomas

This is well over priced for what you get. I would recommend going with the negative reviews. Vista oasis is almost at the top of a hill. It is very run down and in real need of an upgrade. The floor looks like it’s just a peel and stick flooring which is coming apart and disgustingly filthy in between each panel. The patio door had a hook and door chain to lock them. The bathroom window didn’t had a catch to keep the window shut. The wood is swollen on both the bathroom and bedroom doors so you had to force them closed and really pull on them open them. This would make the bathroom window fall open every time any of these doors were used. The arm on the bathroom window (so it didn’t open to far) was missing so it would fall right open making you think it was actually going to fall out of the frame. The safe in the room was dead 2 nights running so we couldn’t get into it. Someone came on the second night and reset it. We ran out of hot water more than once during the first persons shower. The complex wasn’t full so god only knows how they cope when and if they are ever full. The food OMG, this was way below par, the cooked food was barely even warm never mind hot. I stuck to salads to play it safe. You can’t get a juice before 11 am on all inclusive and it finishes at 10:30 pm. The entertainment is something else. It’s the same old woman every night who unsuccessfully does a karaoke every night when she is there. Poor young kids have nothing to do in the evenings, (although it could be seasonal). There was plenty of low down sun loungers. It’s about a 35-45 minute walk (depending on the pace you walk at) to the beach I didn’t mind the walk in both directions but my 72 year old mum struggled with the uphill walk so a taxi back is less than €10 (with a tip). Gran Canaria its self is nice and we would return to the island but never to vista oasis.

Everyone stay away from the Vista Oasis in Maspalomas, I got foot poisoning i was unwell for 3 days so i stayed in the room. I couldn't eat for a couple of days without vomiting it back up. Plenty of feral children running around & sitting on the floor whilst people were trying to walk back to their tables. Entertainment was 0/5 the most Anti Social Place I've ever stayed in in Spain, they'd go back to their rooms after their tea's the bar closed at 22:45 "wow" the food was 0/5 at breakfast they'd put bloody Milk in the Scrambled Eggs no wonder i was I'll will food poisoning. I wouldn't recommend this place to any human being. When I was told we was going home early i couldn't wait to pack. Thankfully I never got another wave of food poisoning. Im OK for more holidays in 2026 TYVM. They have 2 shops Spar & Aldi,

Vista Oasis was the worst Place on Earth to stay. I got Food Poisoning & stayed in the room for 3 days. Plenty of Feral Children running around screaming sitting on the floors were people were walking around with Food & Drinks. The so-called bar closed at 22:45 Entertainment was none existent nobody was in the bar area as they went back to their rooms after tea most Anti Social Place I've ever been to "ever". Food was 1 out of 5 because breakfast wasn't to bad.Only decent food they was besides putting Milk in the Scrambled Eggs. The Shower lasts for 5 minutes then it went Cold now way I'm not having that in this day in age. I wouldn't go to the Vista Oasis if I'm given £100 im glad we got a early flight home no way im risking getting Food Poisoning (again) in this "Vermin" on Earth. They was 2 shops "wow" record broken 1 Spar & Aldi.

4 of us booked for a four week holiday in the sun. Oooh what a shock we all got. The whole place was dated and the location was really isolated. It was like being in the middle of a bomb site, surrounded by rocks and piles of mud. There was no entertainment and the restaurant was little more than a canteen. The food was absolutely disgusting, always cold and tasted disgusting. 3 of us came down with a really nasty gastro bug. The bungalows were unfit to stay in. This place was so bad we got an early as possible flight home. We would never go there again. Having travelled to many places we were shocked to see places like this existed.

Stay away from the Vista Oasis. Entertainment was none existent. I got foot poisoning for 3 days. Plenty of feral kids running around when your trying to eat your meals. Food was 0 stars. Bar closed at 22:45 rather than 23:00 it's real time. Early night every night I was there. I was so glad to fly home a week early from this Hellhole. Never again. In future I'll be avoiding Spain if I'm going to be getting foot poisoning everytime I got abroad. At least it broke records for having the least amount of shops. A Spar & Aldi. At least I've tried Gran Canaria.

We stayed for 3 weeks. I got food poisoning. I couldn't wait to get on my flight home from this hellhole. Entertainment your lucky if you got 2 a week. Barstaff we're lovely. The shower i managed to last 5 minutes before it went cold it's not long enough for anyone. They all went back to their rooms after their dinner. Bar closed at 10:45pm. I wouldn't return to this hell on earth not even for £100 pounds. This place should be bulldoozed. Their was a Spar & Aldi (wow)
