Hotels on first line in Spain

- The staff work non stop keeping the whole hotel spotless, we saw the sunbeds being cleaned regularly, and the areas around the pool and the pools too. The grounds are well maintained and looked stunning

Los Zocos deserves it's namesake, and is an excellent place for a family holiday. The site is surprisingly large, with multiple (cold) pools, a free mini golf site, bar, football courts and so forth

Not much I would suggest for improvements, however it would be nice if food were clearly labelled for allergens. Heated pools would have been a dream, as would some more kids splash play equipment

- We had an issue with out TV where it turned itself on regularly, we notified reception so they are aware, we explained it did not bother us as we won't really use it and will just unplug it and they offered us another room - we declined as it wasn't causing us a problem and we were very happy with our room but felt that service was just fantastic

- We only had food from the buffet during our stay, we were all inclusive but ate out most lunches just because we wanted to try local restaurants but would of also been just happy having all our meals there

- The staff, whether being reception, restaurant staff or housekeeping were all always so friendly, seemed genuinely happy to be there each day and do a wonderful job

The pool was clean too and I liked that the staff focused on the rules

The rooms themselves are very nicely put together and the decor is modern, they felt clean and well maintained as did the internal side of the hotel definitely a class above what was on offer in terms of the pools and outdoor seating areas

Genuinely a nice and clean, affordable hotel to use a base to explore salou. If I was someone who spent more time in the hotel and less on the beach and surrounding restaurants I wouldn’t recommend it

The location is good, it’s one of the further hotels from the main salou beach and strip but it’s still closely situated, a 15 minute walk will get you to the beach and 7 minute walk to the strip

The pools are not big enough to accommodate the volume of customers and aren’t much to look at

I stayed here for a few days in mid April on my son's school tour and we really had a great stay , the hotel is very clean and well maintained ,the food we really enjoyed especially the various varieties which I would not normally try but did

This room 224 was not designed for more than two people as it was very small and with the additional bed, cramped. Nice pool view with the balcony but once again designed for 2 people with only 2 chairs

We stayed on HB basis and food was amazing, great choice even for 2 picky eaters. Hotel was near all shops and the beach and a quick taxi ride to Portaventura. Our highlight was the entertainment from Maria and the gang

Stayed here with family of 4 in early July. Hotel is great and staff are wonderful. We booked 2 seperate rooms and this was a much better option. Rooms were cleaned and maintained well throughout the week we were there

Our rooms were facing onto the street which was very noisy most nights. Im a light sleeper and struggled to sleep, my son slept well however

Fun for all the family throughout the day. We would recommend staying here and will definately stay here again

It is a Shame as the amenities, food and staff in the hotel are all what you would expect from a 4 star, however the tired decor and size of the room let it down

Overall it was a good experience. There was everyday music with exercises/dancing on the swimming pool. There was a tribute to Shakira theatre/music show

We have just returned from a week at Barcelona Punta beach hotel After reading a lot of the reviews I knew what to expect. very Spanish! Jet2 doesn’t explain how big this hotel is

It was great not have to get up at the crack of dawn to get a sunbed,no one puts towels out,doesn’t matter what time you go to pool area, the pools are fantastic,there are plenty of beds, only moan here is that if you leave your bed for more than half hour you will get a ticket on it,if you haven’t returned your belongings are taken away, this is a good idea but needs to be hour as half hour isn’t...

it is huge The rooms are large, some of the furniture a bit dated though, a great big bed,safe,plenty of wardrobe space ( never enough hangers) Bathrooms need updated, who uses a bidet these days!! Hotel is very clean,just a short walk to the beach

The resort is well organized, the food wasn't bad and the pools and kids entertainment are nice as well. Regardless, i can't give more than 3 stars simply because of how rude the bartenders are

Magic Room was a great family experience. We've done it last year and we liked it very much, so much we decided to repeat the experience this year. Alba and António were great hosts

The hotel is located next to a very beautiful beach and the marina. They arranged a surprise for my partner’s birthday. All staff are friendly and approachable. Cocktails by the preferred club pool were superb

Fantastic Stay Excellent stay, we had a preferred club swim up pool room, it was fantastic. Staff are very friendly, nothing is too much trouble. We stayed bed & breakfast which was also good with plenty of choice

Our room was spacious, clean and had a fantastic view of the pool. Plenty of choices for breakfast, all very tasty. The pools are clean and the water has a pleasant temperature

Just a couple of niggles, there is no waiter service around the pools and the gates to get in and out of the hotel from the promenade were temperamental

Good location on the seafront, easy walking distance to either the Rubicon area or Playa Blanca centre. We will definitely return soon

Would have to stay at other places in Lanzarote to comment what’s better but Servatur Waikiki in Gran Canaria was at par with this one. Location is great though for walking trips to playa Flamingo or Papagayo

All staff were nice and friendly. The beach is a few minutes away, with lots of restaurants, fast food places & little shops for drinks/snacks

We had a fantastic time at this beautiful hotel we didn't want to leave, the rooms are spacious and clean there's a good selection of food and drinks and the entertainment is brilliant for all ages

Family of 3, just finished a 5 night stay. Great hotel in a great location. Lots of food avaliable at different times, something for everyone

30am until 11pm including alcohol, had to queue a bit in the evening but that's understandable. the slides were on at particular times but that is due to it being off season, our room was cleaned daily with fresh towels

we haven't experienced any sun lounger wars as I had read in other reviews. 3 pools to choose from, we prefer the more relaxed breeze pool. location very central 5 mins walk to beach, plenty shops/bars

me and one of my boys didn’t like food but maybe down to taste. To be fair the animation team made our 10 day holiday. Me the wife and the boys had a great time

Waterpark really good experience, bus to beach, an amazing addition for guests, five minutes maximum with such friendly drivers. Ignore negative reviews and go with open mind, we had a really great time

Travelled as family of seven, grandparents, son, wife and three boys. Rooms clean and big enough for amount of time spent in them

We have been to this resort 3 times now and each time it never fails to amaze me, the water park is insane and the entertainment is amazing for children and adults, they provide transfer to the beach and back and they have some amazing foods at lunch time it’s like having a mcdonald’s whenever you like, the staff make you feel so included and are always helpful, there is a store and ice cream shop...

After reading reviews I was worried about coming but I was surprised at the reviews that had been written? We found there was plenty to do (although we paid for gold and never got chance to use the fair as it wasn’t in action when ever we went, one day a lady said 12 so we waited 20 mins then she shut it very annoying) the food was basic but nice, there was plenty of choice

Loved the idea of the coffee/tea etc machine and the fresh apple and orange and cold water machine in the lobby. Vending machines were good also and not overpriced. The bus to the beach/ port was easy enough

(Maybe put more into the freezer as its a big one) Burger van was good, always a queue so go early lol. Staff are very attentive couldn't do enough. The odd one was not as helpful. Not the best ive seen in hotels

We still had an amazing time, making full use of the outdoor pools, spacious sun soaked poolside lounging facilities, 3 great water slides, for anyone who meets the minimum height requirement, wonderful dining rooms with spectacular food and a not at all intrusive, yet still busy entertainment team

We don’t drink, so I can’t comment on the drinks, other than to say the bars seemed to be doing good business, both inside the building and poolside

For the strenuous visitors, there’s a full gym, with various exercise machines, which we (thankfully!) only discovered on our last night. I can’t imagine why this wonderful hotel only warrants 3 stars

It’s hard to imagine what they could possibly do better, to earn another

Always seemed plenty of room round the pool and plenty of sunbeds

Definitely not the holiday or hotel we were expecting. The pool area at the main bar is dirty. Reception gives everyone one token each for a drink which you get back when you return your cup

The pool area was nice and picturesque. The breakfast was terrible would not recommend- book hotel only

The pool has a strong dirty drain smell. Very unpleasant place to relax

Food wasn't as bad as some of the reviews depending on what you like. The fresh fruit available was nice. The chef did his best to keep the food fresh, and if asked, he would accommodate where he could

But you must go to the new burrito shop on Av. Del Mediterraneo the guy's in there are brilliant, friendly, and chatty and make you feel like a friend. The burritos are definitely tasty and made fresh

As for Trip's customer service, give them a 10, since when we arrived at the hotel they told us that our daughter was not included in the reservation (despite the fact that the reservation was well made) and they made us pay almost an additional €700 for the girl and from the moment one Trip has responded very well, solving the problem quickly and with unbeatable attention

Just spent a week here, and I have to say its a beautiful place. The food is really good lots of choice. The views are absolutely amazing. The animation team work there socks off, never stop entertaining

The bar staff, hotel staff and restaurant staff are so good and work so hard

Rooms very spacious, cleaned daily, lots of storage. Animation staff are absolutely fantastic, they work so hard all the time. They are friendly and lots of fun and very inclusive, especially Chechu

All of the staff are amazing and work really hard, they are always cleaning around the pool and restaurants. The hotel has lots of activities for everyone, especially children

The bus to and from the beach club was a bit rough but always on time and made it easy to commute between hotels, no stress. We have already booked our stay for next year

We booked a suite with balcony and it was extremely spacious. The bathroom could have been slightly cleaner but the bedsheets were crisp

We went all inclusive and there was a large range of food available, something for everyone

The pool area has a large pool and loads of sunloungers. The animation team had plenty of activities going throughout the day for all ages

cannot fault the hotel, was nice had a lovely reception and was clean. however there is not a lot to do in and out of the hotel. food was awful, no variety and was the same every night

We ate out a few times as we couldn’t stomach the food again. We went all inclusive but things like Pringles, certain ice cream and certain alcohol you had to pay for which I thought was strange

We went swimming every morning at sunrise and met some locals who were so friendly and advised us where was safe to swim. Alua tenerife is a brilliant hotel for couples and families

But the restaurant and reception are very easy to locate thanks to pointers and signs with arrows on the floor. I haven't tried the pool, it was crowded most of the time

Our shower drain wasn't working properly, the water was flooding, so we left a note while we were away and they fixed it. Rooms were difficult to find at first

The main pool is where activities are organised and music plays throughout the day. There is access for disabled guests. The ‘family’ pool has a triple waterslide for children

Great food, cleanliness at a high level. The only complaint is the occasional noise made by the excursions.

Both pools have a bar nearby and are equipped with sunbeds. We regretted that there were no parasols and very little shade and the sunbeds do not incline

I spent approximately two weeks at this hotel. The rooms are adequate but unremarkable. The location is convenient, being close to both the beach and the stadium

What a delight this hotel was! Very clean, great staff and very helpful. In a fabulous position, the beach is a few steps away, the pools are fabulous, the food is great and facilities throughout the hotel are good

At the moment the hotel is closed, I'm a security guard that does the occasional watch there to help out with days off. The hotel is literally on the beach. It's big with lots of swimming pools

Very good spot!! Super friendly staff, very helpful. Clean premises, huge and an clean swimming pool, breakfast was good and loads of options. I highly recommend it.

The only small thing is there are no hot drink making facilities in the room, which would have made it perfect. Don't hesitate to book this lovely comfortable hotel with views to die for

Hotel, very clean, all amenities worked as they should (lifts ect), lots of kid friendly facilities, great pool/s areas and good sized bedrooms and bathroom

Location, great on the beach front. Plenty of eateries and bars around, and lots for all ages to do. Staff, very pleasant and willing to help if needed

Really lovely hotel. Great food and service. They didn't seem to skimp on the all inclusive, and the food in particular was of good range and quality.

Entertainment is brilliant especially Soul Sisters who performed on 3 July 2022 they were AMAZING! We sat on the piano bar every night for a while and that was relaxing with various pianists and singers

The room was immaculate, however on the last day before we’d checked out the cleaner had already chucked a third bed into the bedroom ready for the next guests! Felt a bit pushed out despite us having the room until 12

Thank you for an amazing holiday at Tui blue suite princess, our first in three years and it was worth the wait. We had a wonderful large chic room over looking the sea and pool, lots of little extras in our room as well

Brilliant “All Inclusive” and a real 👍 for the beer - didn’t stray too far but when we did there was loads of choice for cocktails and branded shorts!!!! The a-la-carte is a must - don’t miss out and I recommend paying a little more for the beef (vegetarian options available too) - what a night!!!!! Have a go at the wine tasting, a fun experience

It’s an adults only hotel, but as a warning there is a water park near by where it can get quite noisy. The staff are amazing, everyone was so friendly and really happy to help, especially the bar staff

It didn't matter that there was only one pool open as they have a solarium with sun loungers which is where I chose to be. There was also plenty of seats and tables outside to sit on and be in the sun

I can imagine the que for the all inclusive bar is very busy in the summer but at the start of the season it was fine. Everyone was helpful and friendly would def reccomend. Great location for the beach and bars too

After staying here in 2016 weeks couldn’t believe our luck when we saw the bargain price for this 4* ??! AI hotel which we where so fond of last time we visited We arrived late just before midnight with around 10 other couples and where given tokens to go and use at the bar as the bar was closing soon so off we all went tokens in hand and wristbands on sat and had a nice chilled drink before making...

You'll need your key card to get back it. Head straight over past the playground and you'll come to a beach, if you follow it around you'll come to some restaurants and shops which are just a stroll away

makes you feel welcome at the hotel, The hotel is very clean, food is the only let down it is repetitive but what do you expect from all inclusive. yes the rooms are small but they do for sleeping

Best hotel ever! been coming since i was a kid, the entertainment team are amazing. Shout out to Hugo who always made us join in the activities( very annoying) but 10/10 for friendliness

Lovely hotel in a great location. Bars and shops are next door and the beach is just a five minute walk away. I love the decor of this hotel - the mood lighting is very relaxing. I stayed on a full board basis

Good points: Clean and resort-like hotel room, 5-minute walk to the ocean, trendy bathroom, free use of auxiliary facilities (table tennis, swimming pool), breakfast/dinner included, but there was a lot of food, so I was satisfied

This is, quite simply, a wonderful hotel which is professionally run with excellent staff. If you love food, then you must stay here

I adore fish and seafood and in 4 days of lunch and dinner, I have eaten sea bream, sea bass, John Dory, plaice, cod orly, flounder, big fat mussels and whole prawns

Wonderful chefs and hard working attentive restaurant staff make this a supremely satisfying culinary experience

Shampoo and body wash are provided, and there is a terrace, so it is good to sit there and relax

Had lunch from the poolside snack bar on one of the days which was ok. Hotel and pool area was immaculately clean and apart from one day was able to secure a pair of sun loungers relatively easily

The hotel is beautifully maintained with lush gardens, a pristine pool area, and a prime location just steps from the beach

The entertainment provided looked to be good craic for the short times we were about in the evening. It’s a great location if you’re a fan of the beach and it’s just across the road

The hotel itself is in a great location — close to the beach and local attractions — and has a lovely, relaxed vibe throughout

Pool temperature was perfect in the warm days we were there and only mention this as it was a concern before going

It is about 2 Miles from the main strip but that’s not a massive issue if you’re looking for a quiet location and to be fair it’s only €6 in a taxi! Overall a really pleasant stay and credit to the staff on-site

This hotel is great for families and young people as well. The food is amazing and you never leave the dining room hungry. It's only 3 stars but everything included makes it a 10 star hotel

It's a lovely hotel but they have strict rules 1 No smoking anywhere. on your balcony, inside hotel, round the pools, at the entertainment area, only outside the hotel you are allowed

I consider it a lack of respect, professionalism and consideration for the people who have paid for a break violated by that bad attitude. It happened to me on a Sunday at 8

2 No leaving towels on sunbeds, masks are to be worn all the times unless on a sunbed no lilos or ball's in the pools so don't buy from the hotel shop. 3 Snacks are supposed to be 2hrs not true it closes around 23

You will not be bored or hungry here!! With a few pools, everything you could want to eat at the buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner and a well stocked snack bar, entertainment, and amazing weather and staff, it made for a great getaway for a couple of days, everything was on site from gym to supermarket, I did have a couple of days out but you could have checked in and stayed there the whole time if...

Fantastic Holiday The hotel has everything you could wish for for a family holiday lots of swimming pools fantastic food and an amazing kids club. We had an amazing holiday and will definitely go back there again.

This hotel is AMAZING! We have been here 3 times already and we love it! It is so clean and family-friendly, the food is amazing, etc. We loved that spa, service, and accessibility to the beach

There was plenty of entertainment for the kids during the day and in the evening which was appreciated. Grounds and pool were clean at all times. Don't understand why small inflatables are not allowed in the main pool

Another great little break at Costa Ballena. Despite the long queues at check in, the staff worked through the lines promptly. Food at the buffet was ok, has been better in the past, same with the pool restaurant

hotel is in a quite part of cambrils with a lovely beach just a two minute walk away. the rooms was very clean and house keeping came every morning. wardrobe had plenty of space and beds were comfy

There is also a gym (I didn't go inside) and a small playground for children. - In the evening, the hotel hosts dance nights—mostly to seniors and kids

same food every day so did get a bit boring and chicken wasn’t always cooked fully. but i would go back again and did enjoy my stay

Before arriving, I emailed the hotel to ask about whether they had allergy lists above the food due to me and my daughter both having an allergy to peanuts, I never received a reply
