There is an indoor swimming pool and a sauna for the use of the hotel clients

We stayed at the Meliá Benidorm as a group of 13 and honestly, we couldn’t fault it. The hotel was immaculate throughout, spotless rooms, comfortable beds and everything maintained to a really high standard

Very nice stay and beautiful hotel. Kids club is great at this hotel. Marcos and Eva are so good with kids. Highly recommend if you are looking for a nice hotel and a good place for your little ones!

We enjoyed it that much we’re already looking to book again for next year. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Benidorm, whether you’re going as a couple, family or a larger group like us

The buffets had a variety of delicious food dishes, fruits, cheeses and desserts. The waiters were attentive and helpful but short on staff to clear and prepare the tables

There’s a Lidl directly across the road which was so handy for snacks and essentials, and a lovely Chinese buffet right opposite as well – ideal for big groups like ours

We had a really nice week at the Occidental Playa, the pool areas were large enough to accommodate everyone and loads of sunbeds so no need to reserve (but people did!!) The snack bar at the bottom pool was excellent and we only tried the main restaurant for lunch once

Yes the rooms are bit dated but who goes on holiday to spend time in the room ? The bed and pillows were comfy and the sea view was lovely. There was a lot of choice in the restaurant

[The beach is huge] We wanted to say bye to "our" cleaner lady but she wasn't there on our last day, so. thank you to her for caring for us for a week. Also, thank you to the spa ladies for the nice relaxing day

We had such a nice holiday in the hotel. Paid for all-inclusive which gives you everything you want. beach bar, snack bar all day along

and if you want to be far from everything, just go down the golden sandy Jandia beach where you can relax by yourself

We heard of room changes due to mobility issues, but at least the walk up and down burns off the calories! We fed back that this isn’t helped by the pool towel pick up/drop off being up the top the main reception away from the pools

The hotel's swimming pool is also quite nice. Bad points are also prominent: The rooms don't provide tissues, and there aren't even water glasses, which is very inconvenient

Spacious rooms , beds, all very clean nice design ! ###########update################## No iron in the room, I am joining the MSP GLOBAL event with wrinkled shirts! ###########update################# The minibar fridge is empty guys! Usuallt 4 stars hotel provide some merchandise and we pay for what we consume! Also no kettle and coffe sachet or Nescafe or coffe machine, other hotels do have those

Good points: The hotel has a great location and a nice environment, with direct access to the park. The rooms are spacious, and although the facilities are old, they are relatively clean

##########update################## Please try to add a drinking water bottle at least one per night, it will not cost much🤭and a set of tissues near the bed or the TV Unit Bigger TV would really be a nice touch , the office underneath doesnot have a visible plug, I had to “redecorate” the room just to plug my laptop The USB plugs near bed are a nice touch

Only negative points were checkin took forever and queues in parks were loooonnnng. Hotel is clean and tidy and prices for food and drink are reasonable for a resort hotel

This hotel has every thing you want for a good holiday. Good clean hotel with very friendly and helpful staff, pool, good food and drinks

My stay at Meliá Alicante was unfortunately very disappointing, despite the hotel’s excellent location. The setting is truly beautiful, right by the sea, and that is probably the only highlight of my experience

Lovely hotel with attentive staff and excellent service. The location is perfect and costs approx 25€ taxi to the airport. It is a good location for exploring Alicante and we visited the castle

I reached the hotel around 12:00 PM and was told I would be given a room with a living room and lounge area, but strangely, I was informed that I would not have the right to use that space

You can choose Sea view or Port view and both will provide you a good view for sure. Hotel Staff is really helpful and kind

Rooms were fine, food was good and the pool was really nice. From a service standpoint there were some flaws mainly due to the staff not being the quickest but overall it was fine. Far from perfect but still quite good

Great hotel and experience! We had a suite and we really enjoyed ourselves at this hotel. Highly recommended! Clean, relaxing and friendly atmosphere.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The hotel and extensive grounds are immaculate. There are 2 large pools and one has a path to the beautiful Barrosa beach, where there are also restaurants

This is a most beautiful beachfront hotel with every facility you could imagine, yet it's the staff that make it really special. I was there for a week, the only English person in the hotel, and everyone was so friendly

I would have liked to have gone to Jerez , Cádiz and Seville but wasn’t able to. Hotel Valentin in Novo Sancti was fantastic just two minutes from the beautiful beach. The hotel had a beach bar / restaurant and sun beds

Large spacious hotel which I loved Food was fantastic I was on half board so breakfast and evening meal. Couple of area where snacks were available and 2 pool bars

95 (burger was raw so go for the hot dog) Location was brilliant, there are a couple of Bars locally and you can easily walk into Salou (40 min walk along the front) The only downside to this hotel was the entertainment, nothing much going on around the pool… no music on

Nearby, you can find a minimarket, restaurants, and stores selling magnets and other trinkets. The beach is just across the street

Lovely hotel, clean and decent sized rooms. Plenty of choice for breakfast with staff clearing tables quickly. Service at the bar could sometimes be slow although you can clearly see how fast they are working

We had a very good time in this hotel. Our room was very clean and the food was amazing. For me what stood out was the animation team Javi and gisela, they organized creative activity's everyday and we had so much fun

The swimming pool area is also a major highlight—it’s very well-kept, and we were so pleased that there were plenty of sunbeds to go around every day

The hotel was very cozy, with great food and extremely friendly staff. The bartender, Marino, was fantastic, and Falou was also very welcoming. The animation team was amazing—truly perfect

The hotel is 15-20 min from Reus Airport with taxi cost around €40/ trip. You can go for a lovely walk all the way down or up on the beach. Clean and well maintained hotel with a lovely atmosphere

We stayed for 2 days, but we were not happy with the shower, the water used to leak into the main room. And the the tea or coffee in the room was never refilled

Our room was cleaned everyday which was always immaculate. The rooftop terrace pool was my favourite part of the hotel, it was beautiful and so relaxing

My mum and I have been staying at the Delfin for a few years now. We like it’s a bit smaller so the staff get to know you. Everyone is very friendly and helpful

I also like the hotels commitment to the environment, with staff even helping out on beach clean up days too. Rooms are a nice size, we are never in them much. Most rooms have large walk in showers too

It’s an ideal location just a few minutes walk the beach, promenade and lots of shops and restaurants. There are at least 3 supermarkets within a 2 minute walk

The wristband system in the hotel is so handy, no need to carry cards/cash in the hotel you can do everything with the wristband

We went half board and my mum has a gluten intolerance and they catered to her needs so well. The chef showed her everything that she could eat and even made her a gluten free pizza which was really nice - very impressed

Lovely​ apartment complex, clean and bright. However there are a lot of stairs and no lifts. If you have walking difficulties you would be better on the ground floor. Good pools which were very clean, plenty of sunbeds

It had lovely large swimming pools with beautifuly kept gardens . The view we had was amazing

For a short stay had everything we needed.

The apartment was nice, clean, and check in was easy. The breakfast was good and near to town. My only one minor complaint was there was not any wifi in the apartment

I only stayed for one night, but this would have been a problem if the stay had been longer. Overall would recommend this hotel

Stayed last September for 7 days ( wished it were longer) 3 adults and 3 children 17, 12,1. Couldn’t fault any part at all. From food, rooms, entertainment, pools staff and the bonus of its own private immaculate beach

With fish that swim round your feet. Staff were amazing , especially with the kids and entertainment. ( we now have children that speak Spanish). My Grandaughter Amy is hoping to join the crew next year as an entertainer

From the swimming pools with slides and games for both adults and children, to the open pool and the indoor thermal pool that we really appreciated in the "cooler" hours, to the immediate access to the small and private beach below where we spent magnificent moments, from the beach the view is truly unique and the sunset wonderful! There is a bar/bathroom in both pool areas and it was very convenient...

Amazing hotel with friendly staff en paradise for children with a water playground with multiple slides. A warm inside pool and a nice outdoor pool The beach is beautiful

These all have bar areas with the main pool also serving snacks. (This pool is always busy and you have to be quick to get a bed). The beach from the main pool is a lovely little spot to spend the day just relaxing

The hotel is in a very good location, five minutes from the beach with its restaurants and the entire entertainment district. The hotel met my expectations, although the price was a bit high.

I liked being in the hotel, that's why we booked the same we stayed in 2023. We generally enjoy staying there and thinking of next year probably trying the Algarb one, because its closer to the sea

Hotel was so lovely, so close to everything around. Staff were so nice and helpful as well. Patricia. who was one of the staff, helped us out so much as well, always friendly whenever we had any questions

I love this hotel I stayed here in april/may its ideally located and has everything you need. I prefer a top floor room due to noise above both ither than that it's perfect

Room was clean! Staff was great (only one around 35-40 years woman was all the time rude during eating time! Place was super nice and defenatly I will go back! Only problem was that night time suddenly safety box start to piiping and didn’t stop no matter what we try

Great Holiday. Lovely hotel, lots of good choices and bars. Many pools to choose from also, along with direct access to the beach. Hotel rooms were clean and fresh.

The Steakhouse in particular stood out – highly recommended if you’re a meat lover! There are several pools to choose from, including a beautiful infinity pool overlooking the ocean, a quieter adults-only pool for total relaxation, and a fun, family-friendly pool area

then we called reception and after half hour somebody (nice) person came to fix it. It would be nice that level hotel they would give discount for future staying because it was ruin 2 hours our sleep

Beautiful hotel, with modern touches. Reception staff were great and very helpful with any questions/issues. Pools were decent although maybe a little small for the quantity of guests at the hotel

Lobby, Rooms and Restaurant renovated and in good shape. Pool Area not very good. Very old tiles with water puddles everywhere, loose puts, dirty puts, loose handrails,.... needs to be renovated ASAP

Room has an amazing view! Non of the pools were open. You have to pay for everything on top including the safe! Not coffee machines or kettles in room. Kids club 1 person for 15/20 kids

Fantastic hotel, very friendly staff, beautiful beach. Only problem was no amenities open in the area. We did have a great night in the bar though.

Amazing place for holidays!! Perfectly located in front of one of the best beaches in south of Spain, with direct access to it

Our daughter went for a couple of hours every morning and loved it. Evening entertainment also great. Accommodation very nice and location gorgeous as on the beach

Very nice decorated, following the concept of “less is more” which helped create a spacious place for the four of us. And the views from the room… simply stunning (see picture)

We have a room with a sea view, everything was new. And the plumbing and furniture. It is unclear why a 5* no Slippers, robes and water bottles

Great kids club, nice breakfast but you need to get there early or it’s chaotic. Top location, beach and bars on your doorstep

Beautiful and so central spotless clean staff are very helpful and friendly food is great and service is excellent would recommend here to anybody looking for a break in the centre of everything but you don't hear anything

His warmth and enthusiasm truly enhanced our stay and made the experience exceptional. We would gladly return — and hope to see Abelardo again on our next visit

Our room was on the 5th floor with pool and sea view, so we had fab views. Our room was spotless as was the general areas of the hotel

The pool areas were clean with enough available sunbeds for all. The hotel could do with a coat of fresh paint and the fact we couldn't get late check out was annoying but we would still goe back

Nice hotel in good location - only ten minute walk to the beach. Lots of shops and restaurants in the vicinity. The pool areas and activities for kids are excellent

The restaurant had a vast choice of food with varying themes across the week. The pool bar also had a small selection of food that was ideal for children or a snack. The beds were comfortable and made/changed daily

Love the all inclusive option and the activities offered. Many diff pools to choose from. It ddnt feel crowded. Staff is amazing and service is fantastic.

Definitely not a 4 star hotel (3 at best!) Staff were all lovely and the hotel is very large but rooms and facilities are dated. Lots of broken tiles etc around the pools. Pool areas not cleaned very well at all

I'd like to say thank you to all of the staff, from the cleaners who always have a smile on their faces, to staff behind the bar for their humour, to the restaurant staff who all work incredibly hard

So with another pool they can do water activities separate and people that cant swim in the deep end they can swim in the shallow end

Happy with everything in the hotel. Food options were brilliant at all meals. Great location as well as it's only a few minutes walk from the main places I go to at night, so it's easy to get home.

Rooms could do with some soundproofing elements in them. The pool area needs a bit of a revamp, the floor was bubbled in various locations and worn out sunbeds

My 4 night stay Room plus hotel very clean, pool area could do with a more regular sweeping I was put out that I could not get a kettle had to go out and buy one ( I needed hot water for my medication) other than that I was very impressed staff very good and helpful

A wonderful quiet family beach hotel with quick access to the sea. The food in the restaurant was delicious, quite a good choice. Breakfasts are almost always the same but you won't go hungry

I would like to see the possibility of free water at dinner, because drinks are all paid and that's understandable, but at least water should be free. Cleaning is good, towels are changed very often

As others have commented, a bottle of water is somewhat pricey in the restaurant (for dinner), and one is not allowed to have their own water bottle. The beach was stunning, albeit at times rather windy

Our stay at Hotel Playa Esperanza was absolutely fantastic! The food was delicious with great variety every day. The beach and sea are simply breathtaking – crystal clear water and just steps away from the hotel

Just returned from a magnificent two-week stay at Playa Esperanza (May-June 2025) with my family (3 adults, 1 child), and I cannot praise this resort enough! The culinary experience was exceptional - the restaurant offered an impressive 10-day rotation of menus with fantastic variety for both adults and children

The hotel was clean and modern. Got a room on the ground floor with the pool view. Didn't get much sunshine inside the room or on the terrace. The food was delicious, really enjoyed the variety, especially ice cream

The pool was a little bit cold both outside and inside and the sauna smelled a bit poorly

The hotel is very good, good location, comfort, views and everything perfect. But what is really REMARKABLE is the staff, they are very nice, friendly at all times, very efficient

Everything was top-notch, from the cleaning to the room service. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful, and you can get the best views of the sandy beach from your room.

( and I mean the whole night, every 120 seconds you could feel the vibration of whatever that is making the noise. When I raised this with the staff, I was simply told there’s nothing they could do about it

The hotel had lots of facilities, breakfast was good and the staff went above and beyond for entertainment

The bed was terrible, creaked and rocked. The restaurant menus and prices were nowhere to be seen.

Sadly, instead of a restful stay, I’ve left more exhausted than when I arrived The staff, restaurant and such were really good! I hope the hotel management do something about that as I am sure I am not the first one bringing this up and for future guests

A special mention to Juan and Nicole and the whole team at the beach cabanas working tirelessly under the sun, always with a smile. Carlos, always so attentive, kind and genuine with an incredible team at the Beach Club

Cant knock overall experience but hard rock service could be improved. Minimal staff poolside or at all bars, no urgency and rather slow considering hard rock sells itself as 5star

Maite, she’s everywhere! Always so helpful, caring and attentive. Yeray at reception — friendly, polite and always ready to help. And Rosi, from the early mornings at breakfast, she makes you feel truly special

We’re so excited about the upcoming changes and new name! But what truly makes this place so special are the people who work there. They’re the heart and soul that make every holiday unforgettable
