We chose the half board option, the food options let the hotel down, very repetitive, not much choice and guests were rude, you would be queuing to use the coffee machine and people would walk right infront of you to use it next, one of the worst hotels I’ve been to for food choices, meal times were very stressful
It is surrounded by a pine park. ), 10 -15 minutes walk, near supermarkets, a park for children, bus stops in all directions. In the evening, interesting show programs. Nice hotel for a relaxing stay
Rooms were very clean, beds were comfortable and bathroom was lovely, very big shower, no bath which wasn’t an issue for us and the room was slightly small
It would have been OK with plastic cups if they had only done it around the pool, but it is very unpleasant to drink all the time at any of the indoor bars, except the restaurant, any drink, beer, alcoholic drinks, soft drinks from plastic cups
All the staff were friendly, the pool areas were nice with a nice place area for kids. Only issue is that people were reserving sunbeds from before 8am and weren’t appearing to use them until atleast 1pm
Check-in went smoothly, Patricia, young and professional, welcomed us. 5 Euros per day for the safe plus a 20 Euros deposit. The room was very clean, the towels were changed daily

We were not involved on day activities, but we were there for the evenings. Young man that was leading mini disco was very enthusiastic and fun. My son(14y/o) was surprised, how a person can be so happy every day
You could see that there was lots of preparation before the show. We loved 'back to the future' the most. I liked the fact that there was no dragging people from the crowd etc. But it wasn't the best I'd say
We were there for 7 days and housekeeper popped twice - once she walked on when we were talking quite loudly and were getting dressed - she just walked casually to us in the bathroom and asked about cleaning
I did tell him that is part of adult life, sometimes you have to pretend that you are happy, when children are around, especially at work where it involves children
Next time, they came in and did the bed. They just threw a throw and that's it. When we got to the room, the bedding, the walls in the bathroom had loads of hair
The spare pillows had spit or snot or heaven knows what on them. The reception staff was most of the time were very helpful. I'd like to mention animation team

We also had access to the Magnus restaurant where it was a lot quieter. Paula the chef was really attentive with a food allergy we had - so thanks for that. We enjoyed the activities with the animation team
have enjoyed one week family holiday. the rooms are modern & very clean, fresh towels daily. the food was good quality for all inclusive, always a variety of dishes to choose from
This was our 2nd stay here and it didn’t disappoint. We did the check in online this time and it really did speed things up. As Magnus guests we also had a separate check in desk (this wasn’t available the previous year)
The Scottish lady on reception was a big help and always smiling. The Magnus room booking came with the usual extras of mini bar, robes and drinks facilities
The reception staff were especially kind and helpful, always willing to assist with anything we needed. The rooms were comfortable and clean, with everything our family needed for a short stay
Meal times were extremely chaotic and on the day we had rain, we struggled to get a table because the outside area isn’t entirely covered

The food - we have stayed in various hotels in Majorca with 3* rating (and I’m very fussy!), and actually found the food ok. They LOVED the burger/ chip bar by the pool. The pool areas are clean and well managed
Yes there are some services that you have to pay extra for like the relaxation area for massages and treatments etc but I found it reasonable and well worth it and the lady there was so attentive and couldn't have been nicer
We have just returned from a week at Club Mac, as a family of 7, with kids from age 8-15. We didn’t have high expectations but budget constraints meant it was this, or no holiday
I had low expectations of this place given some of the reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised by it
My only criticism would be that during the days of AWFUL rain we had (not the hotels fault!), there was nothing at all to do, and with 5 children this was a challenge. The public areas were cold, with the doors open too
Waterpark is free to enter but its not part of the all inclusive. You have to buy food and drink but this was not an issue. You also have to rent the sun loungers unless you want to sit on the floor

Entertainment was local and seemed like a lot of fun. Children all seemed to be entertained and happy. A few people taking advantage of the all inclusive drinks but that can't be helped
The staff was very friendly, they even did a bottle of fizz in our room for our honeymoon which was a lovely touch. They only really have air con in the rooms and a little in the restaurant
Disappointing
Breakfast was ok but food was cold, other meals offered were overcooked / undercooked even freshly cooked meats and fish were left to go cold
With the all-inclusive package, the endless drinks at the bar were a real bonus! My favourites were definitely the Piña Colada and the San Francisco cocktails. The pools were definitely a highlight
This was a great place to stay. Staff were all lovely
There was a fairly extensive drink menu for all inclusive. Food was okay (nothing to worry home about) but there was something for everyone
When we arrived we were given a timetable for meals which was incorrect and the receptionist even underlined the incorrect times so we would be aware

The only fault I had were the lifts, very slow and sometimes I felt like Zebedee going up and down to different floors before reaching my floor on 11. All in all would definitely go back
We stayed for 7 nights and had a really lovely time. The hotel was great, and the staff were all very polite and friendly, which made us feel very welcome
Stayed here for a week good location found the staff very friendly food was OK bit repetitive but choice was fine meat fish pasta and salad
The pool was a bit on the cold side (lol), but there were always plenty of sun loungers available, which was perfect for relaxing
Surprisingly you couldn't here any outside noise in your room. We had a family room even though there was only 2 of us but we upgraded to one with a balcony
The food was nice, and although the room was fairly basic, it had everything we needed and was comfortable throughout our stay

Basic enough room in saying that everything we needed was there , very very clean, housekeeping were excellent, the best we have encountered
On the positive side, the staff were friendly enough and helpful when approached. However, overall the hotel didn’t quite live up to expectations and could do with some updating and better management of its facilities
Busy hotel the restaurant is very busy self service with queues at peak times, big open room really noisey and not relaxing atall , on the other hand there was a veranda adjacent to the main dining room which we thought was amazing, relaxing and more to our taste, the food was tasty with a large choice of everything, themed nights tasty treats and SWEETS! We all loved the sweets 😍
Parking was also frustratingly expensive, especially considering there is free parking just outside the hotel gates. The EV charging station in the hotel car park was also not working, which was inconvenient
It's a massive place but extremely efficient and well-run compared to some equivalents I have seen. The only problem are the rock hard beds which are like foam-plated concrete. Impossible to get comfy hence bad sleep
The stay at Sol Príncipe in Málaga was fairly mediocre overall. The hotel feels quite dated and some of the facilities were disappointing during the stay

After checking in, we went to our rooms and had breakfast before going to the restaurant, where they only asked for room numbers. I have no idea what the purpose of these wristbands is
Best fitted rooms for a modern hotel, Very well appointed, sockets in the right place, lighting brilliant, bathroom well fitted, good practical balcony. The buffet not good for a 4 star hotel
We booked all-inclusive which was very handy for our drinks. We were satisfied with the lunch and dinner buffet but my parents weren't. Honestly there is enough choice but they could do a bit better
Also the buffets were really over crowded, too many people and you cannot go as you please, the divide it in blocks to accomodate everyone. We tried the two other restaurants, Mare Nostrum and Trattoria
About an hours walk from Peniscola city centre or Beniscarlo train station but located right on the beach so a great walk either way. Very friendly service and good for value
The salad bar was excellent but the hot dinners were only just warm and served on a cold plate. The gala dinner and lunch were amazing

I stayed at this hotel for two weeks in August. Check in was good apart from them forgetting to give us a room key which they rectified and later rectified to work at the beach door to come in and out
Lovely hotel, great staff, great facilities food was fantastic with loads of variety well located for a bit of sightseeing and culture, really enjoyed our stay!
they had a towel hut to get new towels in the morning and the afternoon. The hotel is all digital so the bar menu is a qr code that you scan and opening times for everything is on the riu app from the app store
The food was fresh and delicious but can get repetitive meaning more or less the same every day apart from theme restaurants consisting of Italian grill and Andalusian cuisine
The drinks were all fresh apart from the chocolate milkshake that came in a bottle that they poured into a glass to drink
The food was amazing, good variety. The design of the rooms are beautiful a and the bed were comfortable. However, we could not use the spa or book any massages

Perfect place for vacation
Perfect stay for our family. The place has everything from good food and a lot of options, clean, offer a lot of facilities, nice personnel. We will return for sure.
Overall, we liked it. The cleanliness, the location. The downside is the food, which has very little variety.
An excellent family-resort-style hotel, super organised, excellent facilities. Great choice of food and drink for all tastes. it took OVER AN HOUR queuing, STANDING IN LINE to check in
We had a great holiday at this hotel without any issues. The front desk staff were all very kind to me even though I am not fluent in the language.
Once at the desk the staff were excellent and very helpful. But not a good start to an otherwise excellent holiday
Great family orientated hotel with super rooms

I took some photos at 5:30 AM while i was trying to secure a nice place in the pool area and I would encourage you to do the same, especially if you are travelling with children 😀
We loved the heated pool, the food and the location.
The only downside i would say is the food, the offer variety of dishes, fish, meat, chicken and lots of salads and vegetarian options, but we are not very happy with the hygiene and quality of food, i would rather have less dishes with better quality, but again for the price we paid i think it is good
The staff were polite and very helpful. The room aas spacious comfortable and clean. The amenities were all good with plenty going on and a variety of foods and beverages available. We will definitely return
Yet they still sold me something, even though they knew I wanted to take my 5-year-old to the Kids Club at that time, while I wanted to go jet-skiing with my 11-year-old—but the Kids Club closed at 9 a

I booked this hotel, after reading the reviews on *******!. This place truly is a gem - for sure, this is a palace - the hotel expands over a very large area on Playa Blanca, Lanzarote!
The food was very good in both restaurants we used. We cannot comment on the three restaurants where reservations are required as we actually prefer buffet arrangements and have never used the waiter service restaurants
I cannot fault the hotel in any way. My girlfriend and I had the most amazing experience. The greeting we received from the staff when we arrived, to the spotless room
The restaurant el Vulcan was amazing!
We visited the spa also, another fantastic experience. Thank you to all the staff for an amazing hospitality- it was second to none. We will definitely be back

The hotel was very beautiful. Worth to update to the superior room. The only criticism is that during meals, lunch and dinner, the drinks take a bit too long to come
The hotel was fabulous and we were able to sample the extra restaurants that the hotel has. The piano bar was tremendous with it’s entertainment and selection of drinks.

Live music every night (a bit too soft for my taste) as well as sitting breakfast
Fabulous room delicious breakfast very clean spacious hotel
Great breakfast and rooms. Service a bit poor and hotel is a bit overpriced. Especially we were disappointed with prices for food and drinks in the bar and the pool restaurant
It was so nice and worth the price, I enjoyed my birthday in HR, it’s just that the photos are too expensive and not printed in good quality. Overall Hard Rock you rally Rock!
Hard rock is a big hotel so the bus stop is in front of is. However the bed got too soft because of heavy use. Hotel breakfast is on point, there are a lot of guests but still many choices of selection available.
Chic hotel in a quiet location. Elevator and stairs lead to one of the 3 pools with a small beach (black/stones). Swimming shoes are recommended. The breakfast was very good!

Stopped a few times during our stay. Food basic and repetitive paid all inclusive only ate breakfast from the 2nd day onwards, evening food clearly reheated and out of date items
All drinks are horendous amstel only wine options were poor and spirits were undrinkable unless u like battery acid 14 pound per person per day upgrade is too much
At breakfast soya and oat milk was available for tea, coffee cereals, but the milks didn’t appear at any other time during the day, which I found a bit odd as coffee and tea facilities were available
We keep our room tidy, we make the bed daily and don’t have clothes lying around, so there was no excuse to keep the floor brushed. ENTERTAINMENT We didn’t take part in any of the daytime or evening entertainment
The entertainment staff worked their socks off! They were amazing with the kids (from what we could see) and there was always something going on. FINAL THOUGHTS All in all, we had a lovely holiday
Don’t get me wrong the food was tasty, but was very repetitive. Unfortunately, 2 members of our party (myself and our daughter) have a dairy allergy, so our options were even slimmer

We had such a nice holiday in the hotel. Paid for all-inclusive which gives you everything you want. beach bar, snack bar all day along
If anyone complains about the food then they must be ultra fussy. My hubby is a pescatarian and found plenty to eat. Staff were also friendly and helpful. One of the best hotels I have stopped at, thank you
The pool areas and very nice and you have good access to some souvenir shops / discount outlets as well as the beach. It is excellent value for money
Don't know how people can complain about this hotel or the staff. Just got back from a 9 night stay and thought everything was fabulous
Yes the rooms are bit dated but who goes on holiday to spend time in the room ? The bed and pillows were comfy and the sea view was lovely. There was a lot of choice in the restaurant

95 (burger was raw so go for the hot dog) Location was brilliant, there are a couple of Bars locally and you can easily walk into Salou (40 min walk along the front) The only downside to this hotel was the entertainment, nothing much going on around the pool… no music on
Staying here for a week, the location is good close to the beach but can be noisy from the main road! The showers are dangerous, they run from extremely hot and then cold each time we have used it! Was told it's a whole hotel issue
Lovely hotel, clean and decent sized rooms. Plenty of choice for breakfast with staff clearing tables quickly. Service at the bar could sometimes be slow although you can clearly see how fast they are working
I didn't use the all inclusive program but I noticed that drinks are served on high quality Absolut, Bacardi alcohols. good location 5 minutes to the beach
Food and drink -
There was plenty of different foods to chose from, I am not a picky eater but there was something for everyone, the only one thing I could say about the food is that there isn’t hashbrows at breakfast but that’s me just clutching at straws! The drinks were good, although if your wanting top brands then you have to pay a bit more and the cocktails are on tap
We had a very good time in this hotel. Our room was very clean and the food was amazing. For me what stood out was the animation team Javi and gisela, they organized creative activity's everyday and we had so much fun

The hotel has 4 separate swimming pools: the newest one on the east wing of the hotel (ideal for smaller children), another one on the west wing of the hotel (with sharp edges, so it's advisable to wear swimming shoes), an indoor pool (which felt a bit dirty), and a separate area just outside of the hotel where the water slides are located (suitable for kids older than 5-6, as there aren't any slides...
Marta made my son feel very welcome. Melody provided excellent services throughout and gave us directions. Miguel was very customer friendly especially during the night shows
Me and my fiancé has the absolute best time here on our little September get away! The rooms are immaculate and the pool is amazing many sunbeds for all to enjoy and the animation team did...
Crowded, packed together at the pool, noise, concrete, queues in the restaurant to get some egg, it stresses me out instead of relaxing

10/10 Hotel. Amazing pools and beach. Love the all inclusive bar!
Lovely place. We only eat there and at €12 for a large selection buffet you can't go wrong. The restaurant area does need some air though and the toilets are a bit grubby
food awful, very limited choice and queues to get into the restaurant horrendous. The restaurant was the worst dining experience we have ever had and was more like school dinners or a cattle feeding station
Fantastic views of the med and a fantastic beach on the doorstep. All inclusive chiringuito very good with premium alcoholic brands and a lovely area to chill out
Breakfast was the worst meal with minimal choice and collect your own cutlery and serviette! Would not go back again. Room and bathroom ok but dated

Very blunt, and not many knew the first thing about speaking English which is absurd, as if your a receptionist at a hotel you should speak other languages. We went all inclusive and the service by the pool is lovely
Stayed last September for 7 days ( wished it were longer) 3 adults and 3 children 17, 12,1. Couldn’t fault any part at all. From food, rooms, entertainment, pools staff and the bonus of its own private immaculate beach
With fish that swim round your feet. Staff were amazing , especially with the kids and entertainment. ( we now have children that speak Spanish). My Grandaughter Amy is hoping to join the crew next year as an entertainer
Ideal for picky kids because of the neutral flavour of some basic foods like spaghetti or lasagna. My kids liked the fresh baked pizza the most. The beach was very beautiful
She sings and dances and can’t wait to join them. I recommend anyone to give this hotel a go as it won’t disappoint 🥰
The mini club managed by equally fantastic guys, especially Melis (if that's how you write it), very nice and super loving with the children, as well as the entertainment evenings, a truly appreciated touch of relaxation and fun
