We chose the half board option, the food options let the hotel down, very repetitive, not much choice and guests were rude, you would be queuing to use the coffee machine and people would walk right infront of you to use it next, one of the worst hotels I’ve been to for food choices, meal times were very stressful
It is surrounded by a pine park. ), 10 -15 minutes walk, near supermarkets, a park for children, bus stops in all directions. In the evening, interesting show programs. Nice hotel for a relaxing stay
Rooms were very clean, beds were comfortable and bathroom was lovely, very big shower, no bath which wasn’t an issue for us and the room was slightly small
It would have been OK with plastic cups if they had only done it around the pool, but it is very unpleasant to drink all the time at any of the indoor bars, except the restaurant, any drink, beer, alcoholic drinks, soft drinks from plastic cups
All the staff were friendly, the pool areas were nice with a nice place area for kids. Only issue is that people were reserving sunbeds from before 8am and weren’t appearing to use them until atleast 1pm
Check-in went smoothly, Patricia, young and professional, welcomed us. 5 Euros per day for the safe plus a 20 Euros deposit. The room was very clean, the towels were changed daily
We were not involved on day activities, but we were there for the evenings. Young man that was leading mini disco was very enthusiastic and fun. My son(14y/o) was surprised, how a person can be so happy every day
You could see that there was lots of preparation before the show. We loved 'back to the future' the most. I liked the fact that there was no dragging people from the crowd etc. But it wasn't the best I'd say
We were there for 7 days and housekeeper popped twice - once she walked on when we were talking quite loudly and were getting dressed - she just walked casually to us in the bathroom and asked about cleaning
I did tell him that is part of adult life, sometimes you have to pretend that you are happy, when children are around, especially at work where it involves children
Next time, they came in and did the bed. They just threw a throw and that's it. When we got to the room, the bedding, the walls in the bathroom had loads of hair
The spare pillows had spit or snot or heaven knows what on them. The reception staff was most of the time were very helpful. I'd like to mention animation team
Very nice hotel, room we had was amazing, very big, massive bed, clean and has everything you could want. Very large selection of food and drinks and considering the amount of people catered for the quality is good
A very beautiful and spacious resort with numerous amenities (outdoor pool, gym, restaurants, etc
Our stay during the first week of October was perfect, with temperatures reaching 30 degrees Celsius and fewer guests than in peak season, so we didn't have to fight for a spot by the pool
The wonderful sandy beach, covered in countless seashells, is just a few hundred meters from the hotel and can be reached via wooden walkways. The staff were always very friendly and helpful
Myself and my partner have just returned home from our 6 night all-inclusive stay at this hotel. We arrived to a bad start - the receptionist didn’t speak much English and couldn’t answer many of our initial questions
We had half-board with breakfast and dinner buffets featuring a different menu each day, all of which were delicious. This certainly won't be our last holiday here
But the best thing is the bed so comfortable memory foam = good night's sleep. Worst thing long queues and having to pay for loungers and drinks at waterpark
I had low expectations of this place given some of the reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised by it
Was my first all inclusive holiday and I'm still shocked at how much was included like the endless milkshakes ice creams and slushies for kids
It's excellent value for money, the food is fantastic, the service is very good, there is so much for kids to do, parents can actually relax. Some of the comments about guests are in my experience misplaced
It might get rowdier in July and August and I wasn't up late at night, but for an all inclusive family holiday in June; you won't do better
Bars were quick and easy and my daughter's loved going up to their own kids bar and getting drinks, ice creams and ice pops

If I could leave you more than five stars I would! We stayed January 30th until 6th February and we're missing it already! The staff are lovely, a special shout out to the stunning Emilia Clarke lookalike on reception, talk about a sweet, helpful lady
Just had an hour in the spa and then the most amazing massage from Anna. What a wonderfully relaxing experience. Very friendly attentive staff. Anna and Elena, very professional, made me feel very welcome and relaxed
The room was clean and spacious, with a comfortable bed and all the necessary amenities. The staff were very friendly, check-in was quick, and they were always happy to help with any questions
We had a wonderful stay at Gran Hotel Bali! 🏖️
The hotel is truly impressive with its height and views — from the upper floors you can enjoy breathtaking panoramas of Benidorm and the sea
So spacious and immaculately clean, my brothers and I were bowled over! Gorgeous place, loads to see and do. Thanks again for an epic holiday, we didn't want to go home!
Today was my birthday and when i came to hotel after walk i realised nice complimentary from hotel it was very nice! 😊 ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
My wife accidentally left her air pods in the room but only realized a couple of days later. The staff were really helpful and despite our fears they managed to locate them after a few days
We stayed for 7 nights and had a really lovely time. The hotel was great, and the staff were all very polite and friendly, which made us feel very welcome
The pool was a bit on the cold side (lol), but there were always plenty of sun loungers available, which was perfect for relaxing
The only downside wasn’t the hotel’s fault at all, unfortunately, we had some inconsiderate neighbours who were quite noisy during the night. Aside from that, we really have no complaints
Stayed here for a week good location found the staff very friendly food was OK bit repetitive but choice was fine meat fish pasta and salad
The food was nice, and although the room was fairly basic, it had everything we needed and was comfortable throughout our stay
Entertainment was local and seemed like a lot of fun. Children all seemed to be entertained and happy. A few people taking advantage of the all inclusive drinks but that can't be helped
The staff was very friendly, they even did a bottle of fizz in our room for our honeymoon which was a lovely touch. They only really have air con in the rooms and a little in the restaurant
Disappointing
Breakfast was ok but food was cold, other meals offered were overcooked / undercooked even freshly cooked meats and fish were left to go cold
With the all-inclusive package, the endless drinks at the bar were a real bonus! My favourites were definitely the Piña Colada and the San Francisco cocktails. The pools were definitely a highlight
This was a great place to stay. Staff were all lovely
There was a fairly extensive drink menu for all inclusive. Food was okay (nothing to worry home about) but there was something for everyone
When we arrived we were given a timetable for meals which was incorrect and the receptionist even underlined the incorrect times so we would be aware
We were above the laundry room, and faced a wasteland of grass. FOOD The food at Sol Palmanova was standard all inclusive. Between the 2 hotels and snack bar there was food to be had, however, it was the exact same
The hotel rooms are small but we knew this and dont spend too much time in our room anyway, always cleaned and fresh towels if needed, we had a great view from our balcony
We stayed for 10 nights in August. This was our 2nd time and we would definitely go back
The main annoyance was queuing up when your ready to head to bed to change cups back for tokens or exchanging for plastic tea/coffee cups, ideally tea and coffee cups would be separated from this system
10 location 10 Cleanliness 8 food 10 staff Absolutely beautiful place to stay, head out the back gate to many bars, food restaurants, shops, Head straight infront to find a beautiful beach
Although its a faff keeping hold of tokens or cups etc it does help with ensuring everywhere is clean and tidy and I do like the massive reduction in single use plastic

I stayed at this hotel for two weeks in August. Check in was good apart from them forgetting to give us a room key which they rectified and later rectified to work at the beach door to come in and out
Lovely hotel, great staff, great facilities food was fantastic with loads of variety well located for a bit of sightseeing and culture, really enjoyed our stay!
they had a towel hut to get new towels in the morning and the afternoon. The hotel is all digital so the bar menu is a qr code that you scan and opening times for everything is on the riu app from the app store
The food was fresh and delicious but can get repetitive meaning more or less the same every day apart from theme restaurants consisting of Italian grill and Andalusian cuisine
The drinks were all fresh apart from the chocolate milkshake that came in a bottle that they poured into a glass to drink
The food was amazing, good variety. The design of the rooms are beautiful a and the bed were comfortable. However, we could not use the spa or book any massages
Hotel is in a great location close to the beach and restaurants. It is close to shops for essential items and provisions
Basic enough room in saying that everything we needed was there , very very clean, housekeeping were excellent, the best we have encountered
Busy hotel the restaurant is very busy self service with queues at peak times, big open room really noisey and not relaxing atall , on the other hand there was a veranda adjacent to the main dining room which we thought was amazing, relaxing and more to our taste, the food was tasty with a large choice of everything, themed nights tasty treats and SWEETS! We all loved the sweets 😍
Amazing experience 👍
Me and my husband stayed for 4 nights, very relaxing hotel… rooms were very clean, food was having so many options for vegetarians too. Most of the staff are very nice
Amazing hotel !
Great location - literally on the beach. Surprisingly friendly staff - even when you stay as a last person on a breakfast or a dinner - they will be supernice - that rare
Food variety of food 8/10 , great grill ! Morning omelet could be faster - long queue. Reception most of the time rammed but pro and with a smile
We booked all-inclusive which was very handy for our drinks. We were satisfied with the lunch and dinner buffet but my parents weren't. Honestly there is enough choice but they could do a bit better
Also the buffets were really over crowded, too many people and you cannot go as you please, the divide it in blocks to accomodate everyone. We tried the two other restaurants, Mare Nostrum and Trattoria
About an hours walk from Peniscola city centre or Beniscarlo train station but located right on the beach so a great walk either way. Very friendly service and good for value
Out of season, many places are closed but this hotel was open and busy. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. The breakfast included was really good too
Hotel is huge .Over Christmas had a lovely time. Good service, food staff very friendly. Room excellent.
Mare Nostrum i wouldn't recommend. Very bad food (fish wasn't prepared well at all), clinical place with no atmosphere what so ever. Staff al friendly, great views from our rooms on the pool and beach
Normal hotel for normal money.the refrigerator is not enough for drinks in the room though.
We visited Abora 10 years ago and we fell in love with the hotel, the experience, and all the team. And after 10 years, we felt the same. Amazing place. Well done!
The staff are fantastic! Very helpful and polite. Nice food in restaurant, and drinks are always available. Room is kept spotless and is decorated nicely. Coffee machine in room is fantastic
Fantastic hotel great facilities. Buffet is plentiful, and the snack bar is excellent. Love the fact there are drinks available 24hr a day for all inclusive guests
The wearing of face masks and arranged times for meals (all inclusive) hasn't put a dampener on the holiday. Fully understand the requirements so that we can still enjoy a holiday
4 Food in restaurant you have to wear gloves & mask whilst selecting your food. 5 AI 2hrs on tea coffee soft drinks wine & beer if the machine isn't broken
All good except entertainment team which was not very good at letting guests know whats happening when and what's next. There are boards which you have to check yourself if you are interested in any activities
Yet they still sold me something, even though they knew I wanted to take my 5-year-old to the Kids Club at that time, while I wanted to go jet-skiing with my 11-year-old—but the Kids Club closed at 9 a
Be careful at the steps getting down to the beach ! Very dangerous especially with strong wind ! We helped one lady , otherwise shole would fall down and god knows what would happen
Communication is a key ;) also prices at the shops are a little bit rediculous so if you need anything - there is a little town near by. Take a taxi and go there ;)food was ok
I also booked a car that was supposed to come to the hotel. Instead, they were supposed to pick me up from the hotel and take me somewhere else to complete the paperwork
This was, of course, problematic because the children were still asleep in the hotel room at that time. As a single father, this is understandably impossible for me
Beautiful views
The hotel was very beautiful. Worth to update to the superior room. The only criticism is that during meals, lunch and dinner, the drinks take a bit too long to come
The hotel was fabulous and we were able to sample the extra restaurants that the hotel has. The piano bar was tremendous with it’s entertainment and selection of drinks.
With a baby going down early, we were cheap all inclusive guests but would have loved to pop down to the bar and bring a drink back for the evening
Excellent quality all inclusive hotel ideal for family with different dietary requirements. Great for gluten free.
Sometimes you wait for the entirety of your meal
Very good stay
We stayed for a week and upgraded to privilege (which i would recommend) the majority of staff were fantastic and very helpful. Food was very good with plenty of choice for an all inclusive

Great breakfast and rooms. Service a bit poor and hotel is a bit overpriced. Especially we were disappointed with prices for food and drinks in the bar and the pool restaurant
Lovely hotel and paid a premium for the Festive Season. Breakfast is lovely and would really recommend the kids club. It’s ideal to be able to leave your child so you and your wife can get blindo on the all inclusive
As were still currently staying in this hotel we have booked different restaurants with no bother at all, we could have booked them all no problem
So if you looking for a hotel where there are many restaurants and nightlife nearby pick a different hotel. Overall great place - highly recommend
50 for 125ml of local white wine!
I think most people were all inclusive holiday makers
Hard rock is a big hotel so the bus stop is in front of is. However the bed got too soft because of heavy use. Hotel breakfast is on point, there are a lot of guests but still many choices of selection available.
Cafeteria offers a wide variety of quality food and drinks ( all inclusive). All in all it is a great value for money and we recommend the hotel
The bedroom was large, the beds were comfortable and there was ample wardrobe space. The bathroom was large and the bathtub could have been replaced by a shower plate, which is far more comfortable and helps save water
The top great things about the hotel were:
1. Original drinks in all inclusive option ( beer, wine, soft drinks straight from the bottle, which is not common in other hotels). Very high level of cleaniness and hygene
We stayed at the Meliá Benidorm as a group of 13 and honestly, we couldn’t fault it. The hotel was immaculate throughout, spotless rooms, comfortable beds and everything maintained to a really high standard
We booked The Level so had access to the level lounge for drinks and snacks, and could also use this lounge for breakfast until 11am, this was great to be away from the crowds in the main restaurant which did resemble a canteen - bright lights and row upon row of tables
We enjoyed it that much we’re already looking to book again for next year. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Benidorm, whether you’re going as a couple, family or a larger group like us

We had such a nice holiday in the hotel. Paid for all-inclusive which gives you everything you want. beach bar, snack bar all day along
If anyone complains about the food then they must be ultra fussy. My hubby is a pescatarian and found plenty to eat. Staff were also friendly and helpful. One of the best hotels I have stopped at, thank you
The pool areas and very nice and you have good access to some souvenir shops / discount outlets as well as the beach. It is excellent value for money
Don't know how people can complain about this hotel or the staff. Just got back from a 9 night stay and thought everything was fabulous
Yes the rooms are bit dated but who goes on holiday to spend time in the room ? The bed and pillows were comfy and the sea view was lovely. There was a lot of choice in the restaurant
Every meal was a delight, and the staff were unbelievably friendly, always making us feel special. Waking up to the unforgettable views of the ocean and the sparkling azure water was like a dream
We went for the fully-inclusive package and wouldn't hesitate to do that again. The pool was inviting and we appreciated the ease and stress-free management of booking sun-loungers!
Every guest gets one dinner at the gourmet restaurant. Drinks at dinner are not included for non-all inclusive guests
Rooms: rooms are cleaned every day, fresh towels every day (even though we did not asked for it)
So much thought has gone into the running of this hotel. Right from the moment we arrived we received fantastic attention from staff, all of whom were cheerful, helpful and caring
There was always a staff member at the pool to help with bookings if needed assistance and we never had any trouble finding a bed - Carmella gets a special mention!!! The food was good and varied and the alcohol and soft drinks free flowing
But we couldn’t have our all inclusive available during that time
All-inclusive was offered on arrival which I paid for, however, I only ate 3 times in the restaurant so feel it was a waste of money, as I was out a lot of the time on excursions
Wide range of drinks and excellent food selection. Hotel was spacious, bright and attractive. Entertainment staff made a real effort to keep everyone entertained, especially Colleen!!
I would love to come back one day
Very happy about food and kids swimming pool
Thank you
A good selection at meal times and plenty to drink, I really enjoyed the fact you could help your self to hot & cold drinks. The pool was lovely and always plenty of sun loungers
This is our second time staying here, I enjoyed our last holiday but this time I felt things had improved further. Staff were much more friendlier, paticularly isabel in the restaurant who was our waitress most days
Special mention to Ana in the restaurant who went the extra mile each day, she was fantastic with the kids and they looked for her daily. She is an asset to your team! Very friendly entertainment team
The hotel has an excellent location, making it easy to reach everything you need. The staff are very friendly and helpful, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere from the moment you arrive

We had an amazing time at Hotel Best Costa Ballena! The food was excellent – varied, fresh, and always delicious
We also loved the proximity to the ocean: just a short walk and you’re at a beautiful, wide sandy beach with crystal-clear water. The staff were friendly and helpful, making us feel completely at home
The entire hotel is spotlessly clean and very well maintained; you can tell that cleanliness and comfort are top priorities here
We’ll definitely come back – highly recommended!
The bolgnaise sauce was watery with hardly any meat and the lasagne was not fresh but the frozen type. Maybe some mashed potatoes, chicken fingers, homemade lasagne and Mac and Cheese would be great to have
