Hotel Neptuno by on Group in Roquetas de Mar

Decided to book this hotel for my wife and I for a few days away while over seeing her family the room we had was a pool view very easily accessible from the lifts. The pool is massive and there’s lots of sun bed and umbrellas for shade, they also have two Billy in water slide and one giant inflatable slide for all ages to use. The entertainment went well in to the night finishing about 00:00.

The only thing we weren’t too happy about was the frosted glass from the bathroom in to the main corridor on the floor but every room was the same my wife and I just felt a little exposed.

We went for the buffet lunch at the hotel on the first day and we didn’t feel there was a lot of variety for us. And at €50 for the pair you’d definitely get better value for money elsewhere outside the hotel

We would come back tho.

Very good hotel. Best breakfast buffet ever. Sooo much to choose from and fresh! Comfortable beds and pillows. Very friendly personell. Price very reasonable. 10 out of 10.

Excellent hotel superb. Breakfast was exceptional lots of choice anything you could think of cooked or not. Lovely pool with lifeguard and facilities. Only thing missing coffee making facilities in room which would have made the stay perfect

Booked this hotel through Love Holidays for a week in August school holiday. It was appealing because we could get a spacious 2 bedroom apartment for one week for £1000. We are self catering, the hotel has options for B&B, half board and full board. Not sure about all inclusive. There is a kids club from 11 to 2 and then 5.30 to 7.30pm my kids did not enjoy it as they are 5 & 7 and have very limited Spanish most other kids didn't play with them because of the language barrier. As far as I can see we are the only English Speaking guests here, all the entertainment is in Spanish and most staff speak Spanish which is fine because we are in Spain. The great things about the hotel are its really close to shops, bars, restaurants and the beach. It's around 2 hours from Malaga and 30 mins from Almeria. The pool is great and people genuinely don't reserva loungers. They come, use the pool and then take their stuff away. Its made it really easy to get loungers throughout the day. They go off for lunch and siesta and then come back until about 7pm. There is a mini disco at 9.30 PM each night and then entertainment from 10.30 until midnight. Yes the entertainment is very loud so I suggest doing things the Spanish way and having and afternoon nap. Kids are still up as they sleep in the afternoon and don't wake up until around 10am. It's around €3 for a glass of wine or local beer. Haven't eaten in the hotel but the buffet looks nice. Cooked some basic stuff in the apartment there are two electric hobs, a toaster, microwave. You will need cooking oil, washing up liquid, sponge, tea towel. Theres a big clothes airer on the balcony, you will need pegs. Bathroom has sink, shower, toilet and bidet. The hotel provides shower gel, soap and towels for use in the room. You need to bring beach/pool towels. The entire resort is targetted towards Spanish tourists so come if you want and immersive experience, if you want Brits abroad go to Torremolinos etc. Theres great weather, the air conditioning could be better, the rooms are basic but clean, curtains were hanging badly but there are shutters on the windows. The kids loved the bouncy castle that they have made into a pool slide. There are daytime activities but we haven't participated in any or been invited to. We spend most mornings at the pool and afternoons at the beach which is about two streets away. There is plenty of parking close by, but they crazy double park on the weekend.

This is a Spanish hotel with almost 100% of guests Spanish. Not a problem for us but other English visitors may want some english speaking entertainment etc. overall value for money it is very good. Public spaces clean, staff friendly, nice pool and in a very good location. The negatives are - We stayed self catering - there was no kettle, toaster or any utensils at all. Not great when even the basics aren’t supplied Most of the sun beds are hard plastic that should have a mattress on. These don’t and are extremely uncomfortable. Not sure how anyone would think these are acceptable. This meant we spent most days on the beach where they do have mattresses! The entertainment went on past midnight which was way too loud in our son’s bedroom meaning he couldn’t get to sleep! All in all happy with the hotel considering the cost.

We had a great time at this hotel! We visited Thursday through Sunday, Semana Santa at the end of March. The weather was ok, but what saved us was the small, climatized and covered pool next to the big main pool. At 1.2-1.3 m deep, this small pool may be too deep for younger kids, but our 5 year old loved it.
The hotel is close enough to the beach. There is a back door with easy access to the town (and a playground right outside the door!). The Spar is close and beach access is nearby, too.
For a busy buffet, the food was good and at the correct temperature. We had the pension completa and found it to be a good deal. (Coffee and juices included with breakfast, but you pay for drinks at lunch and dinner; however, the prices were surprisingly reasonable!) A special thanks to Alejandro in the comedor. All the employees were great, and cleanliness also great.
I had my hesitation at first because we purchased this trip for a bargain price, but in the end I have no complaints! I will say, if you have younger kids that can't swim, the main pool and small pool may not be very fun for them. There's a tiny wading pool, but it is uncovered and would be cold in the off season.
Other than that, we recommend this hotel 💯

Highly recommended hotel, the decoration is very beautiful, the rooms are recently renovated, very spacious and all the facilities are very clean. The dining room is very good, everything is well cooked and flavorful. Easy parking in surroundings.

Everything was great, very well attended restaurant, very comfortable rooms, special thanks to Álex and M from entertainment for being great professionals taking care of the little ones and making their stay very fun. They do everything so that the children have a great time. Thanks Alex for the detail.
