I really enjoyed my stay at hotel El Globo. The location couldn’t be better—right next to the beach and surrounded by great bars and restaurants. The staff were welcoming and made the check-in process smooth. My room was spotless, cozy, and had a lovely view.
For a one star hotel it truly exceeded my expectations.

I and my friends traveled for running the half marathon in Valencia! As the start line was at 9am, we’ve asked for a late checkout ( paid surely) but it was immediately refused. We tried to explain our situation, we’re 3 on same room and very kindly we tried to talk with the staff, mainly the employee who was working in the mornings, but he did shout at us, very ill-mannered and rude! On Sunday, once we got the hotel, it was 11:58am and our door was locked ( the checkout is at noon!) one of us was ordered to remove all of our staff! We left the room with someone from the management team banging our door, it was 12:20pm. Surprisingly we saw a couple arriving around 1pm who was treated with kindness and respect.
Very disappointed and disrespectful!

I stayed there for two nights. When I first got there I noticed the air conditioning wasn’t working, and only blowing room temperature air. I let them know about it right away, and it was never taken care of or did they get back to me. I had to leave the window open in the evenings and at least one mosquito got into the room and bit me a couple times before I could kill it. I took a couple showers during the visit and the water would only stay warm for less than one minute both times.

Nice clean room helpful man on the desk . Breakfast is basic but nice and says free breakfast included, parking for free on the road felt a safe area .

Room 212. Strong sewer smell inside the room. We were given a disable bathroom. First shower flud the bathroom. No shower holder in the wall. Girl receptionist not willing to accommodate/understand.
We moved, after a couple of hours, to the next block hotel Cassa Bassa were service was amazing.
We're refund all, less that day.

I think a lot of these negative reviews are old, because I had a great experience. It was super clean, modern, room wasn't huge but it wasn't uncomfortably tiny. I did pick a slightly upgraded one so that may be why. Front desk people were super nice and helpful, and the view was gorgeous. I was comfortable and would definitely return.

The place, their employees,their food was really good.I really appreciated a lady there and with everything that happening in Valencia she was trying to smile and work but that is when you know you have an amazing employee there.Blessings for you all,we are with Valencia

Beach hotel in the middle of lively area!
Good location between bars and restaurants, very close to the beach.
We were not bothered much with noice, but it is in the middle of a very busy area, so expect to wake up now and then;-)
Hotel is what these hotels are, not big luxury, but location is the thing. We had a nice stay, would book again.

We had a very nice pizza. Place was nicely filled and had a good atmosphere. Sitting outside we could still enjoy a bit of a beach view. Coffees after dinner where really good!

We were at this establishment nearly every day of our holiday back in August 2017. Sometimes for a drink on the way back from the city or for supper or to meet up for drinks and tapas with family and friends and I cannot fault the food, drink or friendly but busy staff who despite being so busy found the time to make us so very welcome and helpful with all our dietary needs with our food.
We will definitely go back there every time we return to Valencia.

Great welcome as we arrived. .not like other restaurants in the area. We had Tapas Casa which had freshly grilled aubergines, courgettes, mushrooms, peppers with 3 different cheeses, quality cured meats,olives and pitta bread.Great pizzas and wines. Have to return to try so many other great tapas..nice friendly atmosphere

Absolutely disastrous experience. Disgusting prawns which were badly defrosted and which should have been fresh to begin with. Got an order of muscles which were horrible. Hadn't been properly cleaned and the broth which was supposed to be lemon based tasted more like it was made with a sweaty sock... also ordered a pizza and it was 100% tasteless and when I ordered some hot sauce it never arrived. Eventually had to complain and get items taken off the bill. The owner was sitting with her family ordering the staff around instead of helping out on a busy Saturday night. Staff were awful except for one lovely waitress who did actually care. STAY AWAY.
