Everything was perfect

We were initially given a room on the first floor facing the street, which was very noisy. We immediately requested a room change, but unfortunately, the new room was only available the next day. We received an earplug right away. The second room was on the fourth floor, but it had a very unpleasant smell throughout our remaining two days. The breakfast was not good either; neither the omelet nor the pre-made sandwiches were tasty. The juice offered was only sugary and low in fruit content. The staff was friendly, although they reprimanded us when we filled our water bottle to take with us at breakfast. Overall, accommodation 2/5, breakfast 2/5, staff 4/5.

The soundproofing was disastrous. The first night, the street noise was so loud I couldn't sleep and had to change rooms in the middle of the night. The second morning, I was woken up again by noise from next door. I suffered from severe insomnia and had to check out early and find another hotel. The hotel's location is convenient, but if you need to sleep, think twice.

If someone prefers central location then this hotel is great. Staff is good, the rooms are spacious and overall the hotel is clean

Excellent positioned in "old town". Super friendly staff in reception. Very clean and spacious room, properly cleaned each day. Excellent bathroom, good water pressure and clean!
The only downside is the breakfast, limited and strange composition/ options.

The service desk they were extreemely nice. Thanks for everything. The rooms clean, the location is perfect, close to the famous historical buildings, but also food and transport.
Note: Not recommended, if you look for a peaceful sleeping without zero noise, its frequent street. In general,we enjoyed this stay

I stayed at Casual Socarrat in Valencia from Monday to Friday for a business trip and, unfortunately, I wasn’t very impressed.

To begin on a positive note, location-wise, I was pleasantly surprised by how accessible this hotel is. There are lots of shops and places to grab a bite to eat just a stone’s throw away, which really came in handy for me throughout my trip.

The hotel itself, however, left a lot to be desired (this excludes the staff members of reception - they were lovely!) The room I stayed in, though spacious, was badly laid out, with a television perched centimetres away from the ceiling and an air conditioning unit (in almost 40 degree heat) facing nowhere near where someone occupying the room would sit or lay. It just didn’t make any sense and, as a result, I was hot and uncomfortable most evenings. However, the mattress on the bed was actually to my liking, which makes the other elements even more of a shame.

My main problems with the hotel were surrounding the hygiene and cleaning. The bathroom absolutely stank of sewage and that smell lingered throughout my stay. Whenever my room was cleaned, items like towels were taken away and not replaced, leaving me with nothing to use, bins weren’t emptied and toilet paper wasn’t replaced, forcing me to use tissues when I had completely ran out. It’s safe to say that things just weren’t up to standard.

Overall, Casual Socarrat was convenient for the trip from a location point of view but, if ever I return to Valencia, I would opt for a different place to spend my time.

Great food. Great service. Great price. I have never been disappointed in this restaurant. You can sit either in the terrace or inside the restaurant, where there's a nice view of the street at night.

You always surprise us with genius ideas, flavors, presentation, suggestions. All shale and adjusted price. Very varied wine cellar. Service is impeccable. Pity that it is so small the local.
