Stayed here recently. Check in was long, had 1 staff member behind the desk and there was a few people waiting. Took a good 30 mins. Room was okay, the mattress was rock hard but I seemed to still get a good night sleep there.
The breakfast was okay I guess, the coffee was not good. There is a Starbucks below the hotel though. The hotel is basically at the top of a shopping centre, which can be handy...
The hotel is nice but there are some things you might miss. First of all a smart tv or at least a way to stream to the TV. Then an iron in the room or at least access to one in the hotel. The cleanliness of the rooms especially bathroom is also not perfect but then also nothing too disturbing. The breakfast was good so worth additional dime.
Can't believe the price for the room we got. I mean this in a good way. Centrally located. Clean on the inside, rooms were pretty good. Breakfast was great. Parking is underground and safe. This is our second ilunion this week (one in barcelona)Barcelona, and both times we had a great experience
Had a good stay in the hotel. Staff very friendly. A few things I missed. Ability to make a cup of coffee on the room and no trash bin in the room. Besides that a great stay.
Breakfast was good. Especially the COVID-19 measurements! Location is nice!
Location is fantastic to visit Aquarium and the Science center. There is a shopping mall right beside it. Hotel does not have much service, so if you think you may end up staying in the hotel a lot I would not recommend. The furniturea seem a little old.
Nice bathroom with shower and bath but room dated and some outlet sockets did not work, also air-conditioning faulty on hot all the time so had to sleep on top of the bed with the window open. Went to book out and receptionist asked us to pay for our room but we had already pre-paid. Not the best experience.

Just arrived and loving it already! The hotel looks fantastic, and the reception team made a great first impression, super helpful, welcoming, and all smiles. A perfect start to my stay. I’ll update this review with more details after my 7-day experience. Update: Amazing breakfast.
This was an opportunity to have a few days holiday in Valencia and we would certainly have no hesitation in both recommending and returning to the Hotel Malcolm and Barrret. We particularly chose this hotel because of the reviews and pictures of the breakfast choice combined with its location to the Old Town area. Absolutely nothing disappointed and all the staff were extremely helpful, courteous and...
nice cosy hotel with friendly team
We had a great time at this hotel. It exceeded our expectations!
The room was being cleaned everyday and they would also change the towels on a daily basis.
The staff was very kind and helped us with everything we needed.
The food at their restaurant was amazing. We had breakfast once and we also had dinner there twice.
They also have a service for renting bikes, which we did and it was really helpful...
The staff in the restaurant were really lovely. The food was mouth watering., prices were good. If you do not pay for breakfast you can purchase items individually. I had a plate of scrambled egg for two euros. Taxis are reasonably priced to city but there is a bus stop close by. Room is small and not much storage but bed was comfortable. Cleaning staff never left toilet paper but the lovely receptionist...
Great stay. My wife and our 3 children: we had two rooms next to each other. They were clean and offered everything we required. Shower was powerful and hot!! Breakfast was good, plenty of choice and good quality. Staff super friendly and very efficient. All in all a great stay and I would recommend.

We had a very pleasant stay. The reception staff were very friendly; they moved us to a different room because of noise without any issues.
Very comfortable, I loved it! Five-star rating. The front desk staff was very friendly, and the hygiene was excellent. I really liked that the toilet and room were separated, and the bathroom had a great wet/dry separation. The location is also very good, making it convenient to go anywhere. I'll recommend it to friends if I visit again.
air conditioner in the room wasn’t working. It was nice temperature naturally though.
The sound insulation is not good, and you can hear the next room talking clearly
Service was good and breakfast OK. However in room it was possible to smell smoke however room was non-smoking.
The facilities are a bit old. Other than that it was quite good. It's in a quite neighborhood and easy to reach the city centre by bus.

overnight stay due to flight cancellation, arrived late at night, Manuel on reception was delightful, funny and thoughtful. The rooms we had were spotless, comfortable and very spacious, for non-disabled rooms, they were almost perfect for disabled guests. The whole hotel was to an excellent standard breakfast and coffee service could have been better. Also there is a roof terrace swimming pool...
They are good, just be aware that they have two hotels, one. 3 stars and other one 4 stars so the pictures in the booking are mostly for the 4 stars building that is in the same street but the loony and rooms are a little bit different, but in general is a good hotel, the staff is pretty friendly.
Stay in Ilunion Valencia 3
Did not use the gym, but it looked OK, small pool, but also good enough. Very good breakfast as shared with Ilunion 4, which is next door and has 4 stars versus 2 stars os Ilunion Valencia 3
Found this to be a clean and pleasant hotel with very polite and professional staff. Really good buffet breakfast with lots of options (including things like lactose-free milk). Whether you think the location is good depends on what you're looking for: we wanted somewhere away from the noise of the city centre but within easy walk of trams, busses and the metro, which is exactly what this place is...
Id recommend this place for people doing business trips, for vacationers it's not great. The pool is small and only opens at 11.30 (and doesn't get sunny till 12.30). It's out of the city, though there is a few easy undergrounds/trams to get. The service was iffy, depended on who was at the desk. The rooms were probably the best part, except there was a smell from some of the aircons and the bathroom...
It’s very close to all the attractions I wanted to visit. The view from my room was stunning especially at night . Had the double room single bed. Breakfast was a buffet meal The interior was very nice. WiFi was good , receptionist really helpful

This hotel is great. The rooms are large and clean, and it's very close to the City of Arts and Sciences. Shopping is convenient too, with a supermarket downstairs. The hotel customer service is excellent, especially the lady in the first picture; she was very enthusiastic and answered all my questions. Thumbs up! I'll recommend this hotel to my friends if they go to Valencia.
Stayed one night for the Valencia Marathon. Great location and friendly staff. Nice view of the harbour from my room.
Excellent service.
Thank you to Ingrid in room service
Great customer service experience
Overall, the hotel experience during this trip was quite good. It was booked specifically to visit the Valencia Science City, which is very close by. The hotel rooftop offers a panoramic view of the entire Science City and the Mediterranean coastline. The four-story shopping mall downstairs has a wide variety of restaurants, and we had a delicious and satisfying meal.
Clean rooms and delicious breakfast, but it was the first room where I had to wait for water to cool down instead of waiting for it to heat up. I also missed a fridge or kettle. But I liked the beds and the pillows were perfect. The skybar is great to visit as well and have a nice drink with a great view.
Excellent location! Convenient transportation to the Biopark - bus 99, 10 minutes from Oceanik. Close to the Science Park. Good transportation to the center. There are excellent restaurants in the hotel's neighborhood! Clean, polite staff! Impeccable room maintenance! The parking is shared with the mall under the hotel, no problems using it! Good price per day! Bravo! Price/quality - 10 points!

Very professional and friendly staff. Excellent location, very comfortable room.
Great location in the science district. The room was a bit small, but the breakfast was good. It's about a 15-minute bus ride to the city center, and the beach is also roughly 15 minutes away.
I’ve stayed there for one night, but I’m ready to say that this hotel was so comfortable to stay in! Things I noticed in: -Good beds and comfortable pillows
-Really clean rooms
-Great reception workers
-Working TV in the room
-Free and fast internet
-Two cards for 2 pers. instead of one key card for 2 pers.
I feel very proud of that hotel! Just one thing is that is very difficult to get at the beach...
Excellent service. The location is very central, beautiful, and offers great transport links to Valencia city center. I loved it!

The hotel was nice, not much to complain. The room was okay, they cleaned the room and changed the towels. It was just lacking and felt very basic. No coffee and tea in the room, shower head was broken and the bed was hard. It just felt outdated especially downstairs( and the elevator was weird, only 2 people allowed)and you could hear other guests in the hall very easily and especially for the price...
It is a standard 3 star hotel. Rooms are clean. If visiting Feria Valencia it is a great location, since it is 5minute walk.
The only complaint is the beds! We asked for a double bed and found two very small single beds! They say there were no double beds available!
It's pretty good, clean, and has a washing machine, coffee machine, refrigerator, and cooking area. We're a family with two children, but the sofa bed wasn't very comfortable. It's important to contact the host in advance and check in online. It was a bit difficult to find at first, and the signs weren't very clear. There was no place to dry clothes, so we just put them on the small balcony outside
The room is spacious but not very well maintained. There were holes on the wall of the washroom where we could see the pipes. The air conditioner was not very good. We asked for an electric fan but not available. Front desk was quite nice but they could only understand simple English.
Close to the airport, very convenient

Fantastic location, helpful stuff. We enjoyed everything 🙌 ❤️
Good value hotel right in the centre of the old town, surrounded by cafes and restaurants. Room was comfortable and clean, with a small outside terrace with table and two chairs.
I am writing a review with 2 months of delay. I stayed single at this great hotel alone in July 2025 for my Spanish language course at UCV. Very close to everywhere. I have booked this in walking distance to Football Stadium watch the match of Levante vs FCB. Rooms very clean and tidy. Breakfast was great. We had a great stay, the rooms are simple but clean nevertheless. The location is amazing, next to the metro/bus stops and within walking distance of a bike sharing point. I recommend this place if you want to get the most value out of your money.
Hotel Olympia Universidades was excellent. It is in a less touristy area of Valencia, which is fantastic for a good night's sleep. However, there is a transport stop in front of the hotel which is perfect for travelling to places, whether it's the markets, the City of Arts and Sciences, or Valencia Cathedral.

Great location. Clean room and comfortable bed. Bathroom is small for North American standard but it serves its purpose. Friendly hotel staff at reception. The only down side to the stay was the temperature of the room. It was too hot despite lowering the thermostat in the room. The ceiling fan helped a bit.

enjoyed my week stay at the hotel.
One thing to note is the cafe. Since the hotel is just next to the ongoing work site of the new Roig Arena, the cafe functions literally as cafeteria for the construction workers at the site. The place is regularly packed with at least 30 workers waiting to be served. This means that despite their best efforts- service is slow and sometimes you can't find a place...

The hotel room was simple yet efficient. However, the shower glass design could be improved, as it allows water to spill onto the bathroom floor. Walls paper thin. Glad I had NO CHILDREN with me 3 o'clock in the mourning starts loud orgy from next room. No phone in the room and no one at desk to complain too. Did not sleep all night for my day of travel. No coffee or tea in the room or kettle. Would classify it a one star.

Nice stay. Everything is pretty good. Cool old restored building, nice modern interior design. It might be quite easy to hear your neighbours though. They have a bike rental, but I'd recommend to Valenbisi service instead, as it's cheaper and more convenient in my opinion (you can download an app and use bike-sharing on the streets).
Very easy to get to and from the airport due to close proximity to the metro. I really liked this hotel and the staff were very friendly. The ONLY thing I would say, as a word of caution, is that my room was very noisy. I think the windows must be single glazed as I could hear the traffic from the road very loudly. I don’t think this can be helped as the building is very historic. Overall a great stay

Highly recommended. The staff was amazing, special thanks to Laticia, Alejandro and Ana for all the personal attention. The room was big and clean. Location was good, but most outstanding was the staff. Thank you for the nice stay!
A lovely stay in a great location. We loved the attention to detail and the hospitality of the hotel. The room was massive in comparison to our first two hotels in Madrid and Barcelona, and we absolutely loved our time in Valencia. It is a very bike friendly city, and this hotel is well positioned to explore the city and the beach by bike. We hope to return soon!
We can highly recommend the hotel and the very nice and helpful staff. We chose the hotel because of its location between the city centre and the beach and it was just right. We ate there about four times, the food was lovely and fresh. The fish and the meat were excellent.

Excellent food and service. Had a beautiful meal with friends and one of the best parts was the service by Cristina. I have had a lot of great meals in Spain but the service is typically below average. With Cristina I felt like I was home immediately. She was the best! Super happy and attentive.
The place was very beautiful and the decor was amazing. However, the red-haired waitress was not patient when we asked about the menu—she walked away and didn’t return to take our order for another 20 minutes.
There was a 35-minute wait between the starter and the main course.
People who arrived after us were served before us.
Also, the seafood portion was quite small for two people.
I won’t give a...
We came as a group of 4 for lunch, after reading a great review from a local tour guide.
And luckily we weren’t disappointed.
We paid approx. 23€ a person (June 25) and got a paella for 4 (huge portion), a starter each and a desert each.
Everything was delicious.
The location is also beautiful, with a nice breeze and great views.
Would definitely come back and highly recommend :)
