This was an opportunity to have a few days holiday in Valencia and we would certainly have no hesitation in both recommending and returning to the Hotel Malcolm and Barrret. We particularly chose this hotel because of the reviews and pictures of the breakfast choice combined with its location to the Old Town area. Absolutely nothing disappointed and all the staff were extremely helpful, courteous and professional throughout. The only fly in the ointment was the amount of constant traffic noise (especially throughout the night) but that said, by our fifth night everything else made up for the noise. We really enjoyed our stay and relatively easy walks into the city.

Just arrived and loving it already! The hotel looks fantastic, and the reception team made a great first impression, super helpful, welcoming, and all smiles. A perfect start to my stay. I’ll update this review with more details after my 7-day experience. Update: Amazing breakfast.

Bed linen was not changed in those 8 days. Bath towels were changed every day.

We had a great time at this hotel. It exceeded our expectations!
The room was being cleaned everyday and they would also change the towels on a daily basis.
The staff was very kind and helped us with everything we needed.
The food at their restaurant was amazing. We had breakfast once and we also had dinner there twice.
They also have a service for renting bikes, which we did and it was really helpful because it was more convenient for us to take them from our hotel.
Although it is not in the centre of Valencia, the neighbourhood seemed to be pretty quiet and safe.

The staff in the restaurant were really lovely. The food was mouth watering., prices were good. If you do not pay for breakfast you can purchase items individually. I had a plate of scrambled egg for two euros. Taxis are reasonably priced to city but there is a bus stop close by. Room is small and not much storage but bed was comfortable. Cleaning staff never left toilet paper but the lovely receptionist got me some ,

Great stay. My wife and our 3 children: we had two rooms next to each other. They were clean and offered everything we required. Shower was powerful and hot!! Breakfast was good, plenty of choice and good quality. Staff super friendly and very efficient. All in all a great stay and I would recommend.

Escaped a very dingy hotel north of Valencia and booked this hotel on a whim, what a contrast to arrive to such a cool, hip, clean hotel I sighed with relief as soon as I entered the building. Silvia the wonderful receptionist checked me in with warmth, professionalism but also the kind of modern familiarty people of my age group love. She made me feel like a VIP. The room was absolutely what I needed and they didn't hesitate to bring me amenities like an iron/ironing board that I needed, service with a smile. The place looked like the place to be at breakfast although I didn't dine. Very confident I will return next year.

Stayed for 3 nights. Nice hotel, 10 minutes by taxi from the sea. Nearby is the art museum and there are places to walk.
