We didn't have water and weren't informed it would happen. The reception smelled horribly of sweat at night, and there was no coffee maker in the room. Very well located. The shower was tiny, you could barely fit.

Not far from the airport or city center, and there's a subway station right downstairs with a large supermarket nearby, which is really convenient. The staff were also quite friendly. However, I think the air conditioning in the room isn't working so well, probably because the hotel is a bit old.

Stayed here on a Sunday night. Everywhere was closed and we could only go to a Carrefour a short drive away. The room is spacious but the bathtub was a little dangerous because the shower screen couldn't open fully so I could only slip in from the end. But end of the bathtub is curved and when it is wet is is extra slippery. I nearly slipped and fell. Overall still an okay stay.

Good Location near to Metro station. It is convenient to visit to city center. Besides, overall, facilities are quite new and clean. Comfortable to stay.

No space, no shelves, no wardrobe, no shower enclosure, the entire bathroom floor stays wet.

Location is not good if you want to be near any attractions. The small room is modern decor and has all you need, and the hotel provides a ticket for a welcome drink at the bar.(small prosecco). Check in took 15 minutes, and we were only ones there. Be sure to ask for a room on the backside as it is on a major street and it is noisy.

Excellent hotel in a perfect location. Our room was a good size and very clean. Breakfast was a delight, served in an airy dining room with comfortable furnishings. After a bad encounter with an airbnb, I was scrambling to find somewhere else to stay and got recommended here last minute and I’m really glad I did. Ana was super welcoming, reassured me of my safety and offered to help in any way she could. She even provided a drink on the house when I told them what had happened and again I was met with the loveliest bar staff. Not to mention the room’s facilities...

I had a great stay here for four nights. It is a very cozy place perferctly located between the old city, the city of arts and science and the beach. The hotel is also easy to reach from the airport by the metro. Only downside I can think of are the loud room doors during the closing process as some other guests mentioned it on Google. All in all I had a pleasant stay!

This is definitely one of the best four-star hotels in Valencia. It's also a courtyard-style hotel. The service is very warm and welcoming. There is free parking in front of the hotel.

Quiet and cosy hotel. Minimalistic. Breakfast has not big range, no fancy but not bad. Location is not central, but is very well connected. Beds are comfortable but they use sheets instead of whole surrounding blanket cover. Not a big deal hut potentially not the best hygienic solution.

Good hotel for spending a few days with friends

The only thing I didn't like was the bed. Very, very hard, and you can feel the springs. A very old mattress.

Good 4 star hotel more suitable for business.. location is just a couple of minutes away from Valencia expo center.. room are ok spacious.. not so many shops and restaurants in the area. Recommend is you have work in the expo center .. the sound insulation needs some improvement you can hear people in the hotel hallways

Nice rooms with helpful staff. We stayed at the end of September and heat was not available in the individual rooms. The location of the hotel is tucked away with little to no available restaurant options or amenities.

Good location, but rooms need maintenance, sinkholes are all clogged, rooms are dusty and dust is not being wiped event after room “cleaning”, breakfast is okay, but never changes and overall food diversity is pretty low and never changes in between the days. The hotel is maximum 3 stars

The hotel breakfast is good with wide spread of choices. There’s also two nearby shopping malls Aqua and El Corte Ingles, with restaurants and supermarket to look for food and drinks👍👍

My friend and I had to leave early in the morning for the airport and not only did they book us a cab but they offered to make us a big packed breakfast for the go since we paid for the buffet breakfast. Id recommend this place for people doing business trips, for vacationers it's not great. The pool is small and only opens at 11.30 (and doesn't get sunny till 12.30). It's out of the city, though there is a few easy undergrounds/trams to get. The service was iffy, depended on who was at the desk. The rooms were probably the best part, except there was a smell from some of the aircons and the bathroom...

It's a very old hotel. It's advertised as four-star, but only a kettle is provided; bottled water isn't. The decor is very dated, and the elevator is clunky and squeaky. Its only advantage is its decent location; the subway station is a short walk away, so you can buy a two-day subway pass and go anywhere.

Great value for very nice hotel in centre of Valencia. Just around the corner from excellent central metro stop, direct to airport .. couldn't be easier. Breakfast not amazing and need to assert for food you want ... staff a little slow, even disorganised.Range of breakfast amazing when there.

Highly recommended! We spent three nights over New Year's Eve at the hotel. Excellent location, right next to Plaza de Ayuntamiento, but at the same time very quiet as the hotel is in a side street and the windows are very well soundproof. Friendly and efficient staff. This is a very nice hotel in a great location. Our room was large and roomy. It was right in the middle of everything - restaurants, bars, grocery store, bus stop, parking lot and attractions. Unfortunately my stay at this property has not been ideal. As soon as I arrived, I noticed several black hair in the bathroom (I am blonde and, anyway, I had just arrived…). No courtesy water - but I can live with that. The biggest problem is that when I went to visit the gym early in the morning there were at least 3 cockroaches by the gym door. Went here on vacation and for the Three Kings parade. The hotel is incredible, the rooms are clean, spacious and beautiful, the TV is connected to the Internet so you can easily unwind with your preferred streaming service in the evenings. Hotel Dimar is a great place to stay, in a lovely part of town - just a few steps from the historic centre. The room I had was very spacious and modern, the bed very comfortable, and though it looked out onto a busy main street, was very quiet. I got a good night's sleep every night. The rooms are better than pictured. Honestly very very nicely designed. Great room amenities too. The staff have been great, attentive and friendly. The gym is average, or below average but fine. The spa area is decent but sauna is in need of refreshing. They could use a renovation in the whole spa and gym area.

The whole experience at HOSPES Palau de Mar was exceptional! Laura and Federico at the reception were amazing and very helpful in guiding us since this was our first visit to Valencia. We would definitely recommend and stay here on our next visit.

The AC Hotel Colon is pretty ideal. The location is perfect - especially if you're arriving at the train station. The rooms are clean and well sized for a European hotel, and the included breakfast with our reservation was a massive plus. Their staff, however, was the absolute highlight. They helped with restaurant recommendations, logistics, and helped make us feel at home in October 2023.

I am writing a review with 2 months of delay. I stayed single at this great hotel alone in July 2025 for my Spanish language course at UCV. From the very first seconds of my arrival until my check out everything has been incredible. The welcoming, the "feeling home" comfort, the services, the hygiene, the breakfasts... From réception to cleaning service and breakfast service, everything was wonderful...

The hotel is in a really good position. Parking nearby is expensive though, €23 for up to 24 hours. Breakfast was great although an extra cost of €15 per person. There didn't appear to be anywhere really downstairs to sit. No sofas, just a small restaurant. Room was very clean. Duvet was a bit weird as it was sandwiched between too sheets so a bit annoying in the night! Overall a good experience.

Absolutely excellent hotel. Service beats other luxury hotels in Valencia we have stayed in. Restaurant food well above expectations. Was the only hotel that was able to offer us a room during the Monday Blackout despite losing all systems power. Staff were exceptional and very helpful during the Blackout period. Comfortable clean bed, very friendly staff, but the hotel was undergoing renovation and the ventilation was not set to a lower temperature, so I opened the window at night, it was stuffy in the room. But in the morning I heard renovation work from the street.

Loved this hotel! The location is excellent, it's right next to the central downtown area and I got to do lots of exploring every day. The hotel is immaculate and the rooms are cleaned well daily. Only issue I had was the controller for the lights didn't leave a lot of flexibility, would've preferred more individualized controls for each light.

The only down side to the stay was the temperature of the room. It was too hot despite lowering the thermostat in the room. The ceiling fan helped a bit.

The fridge in the room was not very cold and I had to throw away the food I tried to keep in there, the air conditioning was not working in our room, but we able to make do with the ceiling fan.
