The gym is average, or below average but fine. The spa area is decent but sauna is in need of refreshing. They could use a renovation in the whole spa and gym area.
Laura and Federico at the reception were amazing and very helpful in guiding us since this was our first visit to Valencia.
We would definitely recommend and stay here on our next visit.

The hotel itself is elegant, perfectly located in the Ensanche district, and within walking distance to both the old town and Turia Gardens. The room was spacious, quiet, and beautifully designed with a blend of classic charm and modern comfort. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the amenities were top-notch.
We also enjoyed a lovely dinner at the hotel restaurant, where both the food and the ambiance exceeded expectations. Breakfast was fresh, with a good variety and high quality.
Overall, it was a peaceful and luxurious experience. I highly recommend Hospes Palau de la Mar for anyone visiting Valencia looking for a refined and relaxing stay.
The staff were excellent and remembered our names in spite of it being a very busy hotel.
