We booked a two-night stay to enjoy the ocean view, but instead, we saw construction at the hotel and nearby—building 2 is under construction, apparently getting ready for the season. We were offered dinner for the inconvenience, but we still didn't get what we wanted. I was alone in the pool and jacuzzi, but construction workers were constantly walking around the hotel, which didn't make for a relaxing...

A hidden gem. The food at the roof top cafe/bar is amazing - breakfast, lunch and dinner all 10/10. Lovely atmosphere. Rooms are great, slightly basic but you don’t need anymore than you have. Really enjoyed our stay and would come back.

Quite far is the beach. Rooms are big and spacious but the problem is the ground floor rooms never receive sunlight so there is mould smell in the room. The owner is very sweet and makes sure you don’t have any difficulty while staying in the property. The property has beautiful small kitchen where you can easily cook food.

Lovely hotel. Staff friendly. Everywhere clean and well maintained The food was good. Tea and coffee facilities in the room. No milk, but they would give you some if you asked. Bed was comfy. Air conditioned. No real negatives, the hairdryer cut out on the hot setting, and the shower could be a bit unpredictable heat- wise if a few people were showering in the hotel simultaneously.

I had a wonderful stay at Heaven Seven Nuwara Eliya as a solo traveler. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, the room was clean and comfortable, and the view was beautiful. I thought it was a very reasonable and nice room, but the smell of the pet dog and cat carried into the room, and I thought it was a little strong. I happened to have some perfume on hand, so I used that to deal with the problem.

I chose this place the night before going to Horton Plains. The room is quite big and the toilet is all tiled. It is simple but clean. It feels very lifelike, just like living in the countryside when I was a kid. People around will greet you, even the puppies are happy. The B&B prepared breakfast that you can take with you.

Welcome to Trincomalee, Sri Lanka. Nice hotel with great swimming pool. Hotel is close to the beach, you can walk there very fast. Beach Hotel in Uppuvelli Easy walk to the beach. Lovely swimming pool. Good Sri Lankan breakfast. Room is fairly small but has all you need. Good airconditioning. TV with English film channels. Bathroom, - shower with hot water. Kettle teabags etc. Good WiFi. Close to restaurants and bars. Generally very pleasant and good value for money. Staff friendly and efficient.

I recently stayed at Golden Star Beach Hotel Negombo and had a pleasant experience overall. We checked in quite late at night, but the staff was extremely helpful and welcoming, making the process smooth and hassle-free. Great little hotel for a 2 day stay before leaving Sri Lanka. Right on the beach, lovely swimming pool, good toiletries, good buffet breakfast. I'd stay again.

The setting is incredible. Right on the beach, the view from our room was spectacular, it has a decent pool, and there is a beach bar for sundowners a few steps away. However, room was poorly maintained. Air con remote didn’t seem to work and it was freezing overnight - other guests had the same problem. Shower was cold. Patio doors didn’t lock. It was fine for a stopover for a single night, but...

There is a lot of positives about the hotel, we had a good view of the sea, the pool is great, the staff friendly and helpful and the breakfast very good. Its the little things that annoy, poor maintemce meaning the sliding balcony doors dont slide, sockets that didn't work and the lack of a hair dryer - there was one for the whole hotel available in reception.

Hotwl review Hotel itself from the street is looking good. Rooms could do with an update. Staff is really friendly and helpfull. Next to the sea which is quite handy as only 2min walk and swimming in the sea. Swimming poole is clean. All good. Need to chech air con as some rooms it did not work. Overall good location

Just returned home from a 23 night stay at this hotel in room 127, whilst visiting friends. From the outset staff could not have been more helpful, informative or friendly.
