Avoid this scamming place. Went for dinner with husband (for the owners attention - this was Thursday 3rd April - 7:30ish, only one waiter working, who needs to be sacked because he’s cheating you) . We ordered an appetizer followed what we thought would be a soup course each. It all arrived together, no biggie, soups were delicious & appetizer was OK. Immediately after the soup being served the waiter tried to serve my husband his main course, there was firstly, little to no room on the table and secondly, who throws that much food at customers all at once?? It was not late, approx 7:45pm, but abundantly obvious they wanted us in & out of the restaurant. We sent my husbands main away, but knowing it would likely be cold or over cooked (calamari isn’t great either cold or overcooked) when it reappeared - dinner spoilt. Starters were taken away and mains served immediately, and as expected cold. We eat it anyway and decide to let it go rather than waste food. This is basic hospitality, don’t throw food at people, allow sufficient time & be conscious of the temperature at which you serve food. Then we get presented with the bill, well 2 bills; one an itemised bill, with a hand written receipt attached for some additional drinks we ordered, a blatant scam to pocket the extra, the waiter wrongly assumed we’d pay cash, he told us we must pay cash, I knew this to be a lie as the place is a modern, lovely looking hotel, we had cash but there was NO way I was going to allow the scam after an already spoilt dinner. I insisted on a card machine (he disappeared off with the machine for a while - not sure why?) but miraculously he was able to retype a fully itemised receipt??? Hmmm, anyway - management it’s over to you, scammers shouldn’t be employed. Leaves a bad taste in my mouth about staying at any ‘joes resorts’ …. Receipts are attached for your reference. In hindsight, we shouldn’t have paid either bill, a spoilt evening all round due to ‘bad egg’ staff …. You’ll need to watch your belongings at this place.

I had a very bad experience with the stay, manager and the housekeeping. There were cockroach in the room and no intercom were given. For every thing you have to go down to the reception and you will find no one there. The bed mattress spring was coming out and it was poking my back. Mahesh from restaurant tried to cheer me up a little bit at the breakfast table and was pretty sweet to me
