It's away from Bentota but not that far too. You can walk there. Food is something that they need to work on.

Nice place to stay as much close to the ocean as possible. The beach is perfect. The staff is young and you can't expect perfect service from them, which must be typical for same price hotels.

2nd floor room with a shared balcony. Off season now, but they charged us more than the last time when we went in season. Room had space. Linen cleaning was not adequate - there were hairs on the bedsheets. The single bed was not cleaned - there was grass on the bed. The greatest disaster was the commode - it did not flush properly. I couldn't get the safe to work. So maybe 5 out of 10 for the room...

Every time I visit Sri Lanka I spend a few days in the Susantha Garden Hotel. It's a beautiful small hotel with a well cleaned pool and a really good restaurant. The staff is super friendly and the rooms are clean. The railway is directly infront of the hotel so it can become much loud sometimes. For me this was never a problem. You can reach the beach within 1 minute. 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

A small villa with 9 rooms, built in a traditional style. The photos have been enhanced, but in reality, it's a bit sadder—partly due to poor cleaning, so the surfaces aren't shiny. Keep in mind, there's a train passing just a few hundred meters away, which might be disruptive for people with sensitive sleep. On the plus side, the staff is very friendly.

Riverside Inn Fuji is a beautiful place to stay. The views of the estuary are breathtaking andthe surroundings are so peaceful and calming, the beds are very comfortable and the whole place is so clean. There's a good variety of juice and fruits for breakfast and if you like eggs every day then you're all set.

Fantastic place to rejuvenate and heal I am going there every year since 17 years to have treatment with Dr Rohita. I really recommend this place. Of course you cannot expect western confort and it is not a modern spa you must be aware of it. But the most important is the treatment Dr Rohita prescribes to you , If it would not be helpful i would not come back every year!

We spent our first night in Sri Lanka in this hotel. Very nice room (with AC) in front of the swimming pool and the river. The staff is professional and very welcoming...always happy to help. The breakfast and dinner (buffet is provided) is perfect.

We stayed one night and 2 days at Casita Bentota. It’s a beautiful, calm, and quiet place. Good for spend holidays. Only one person, the manager, doing everything and doing great! Room is very clean, the service is very good: we had a free rice curry: it was delicious! Definitely come back to La Casita!

Stayed here as a group consisting two families. Rooms were on the first floor. No lifts available. No drinking water provided, which was shocking since this was listed as a 3* property. Dinner options close at 9pm! However on the positive side, the staff was friendly. The beaches were hardly 5mins walking distance. The property also had a decent swimming pool.

This is a no frills place BUT it had a great vibe, lush food and amazing views. If you want to disconnect and relax, this is the place. The walk up and down the beach was so relaxing. Dinesh was excellent to help you out, he took us in tuk tuk to the beach, restaurant, shops, always on hand to help you, would pick you up and bring you back.other staff were attentive to your needs. Pool was excellent, clean, and refreshing.rooms were clean and tidy.

Great food. Polite staff. No utensils in the room. Quiet place and near the beach. Uncrowded. Sometimes you can hear a passing train, which is perceived more as entertainment. Some of the staff know Russian. In the evenings the Internet is virtually nonexistent.

This is a small family-run guesthouse near to Aluthgama and Bentota. It's slightly off the beaten track but you are rewarded as it is a very relaxing location on the river with a beautiful view. The owner and the staff are very helpful and friendly. Helped us with everything we needed. My son wanted to experience a boat ride with fishing and the owner Elion arranged everything for us.
