I stayed here for four days in January and could not fault it. The food was lovely, and the staff couldn’t do enough for me. They chatted to me as if they’d known me for years and were always smiling and friendly. My room was also amazing! A very nice hotel with a great design.

The hotel is amazing! The room is big and tidy, the air conditioner is strong and the beds are very comfortable. Without prior requests, to our surprise, one more bed is arranged for the 3 of us. The manager is super helpful and friendly, he recommended us a lot of nearby attractions. The location is fangastic. It was such a such a nice stay and I will definitely recommend this hotel!

Beautiful grounds, very attentive staff, ready to help and accommodate. However, the furniture in the rooms is tired and the cleaning in the common areas is lacking. Otherwise, it's a great hotel.

The experience could not have been any more perfect. The hotel is located in a beautiful natural beach setting surrounded by palm trees. The architecture and interior design is a mixture of modernism and Sri Lankan chic, every detail considered. One could spend days on the poolside loungers enjoying the vista. We stayed at this hotel for one night. We were greeted with a welcome drink and checked into our room fairly quickly. The room was large enough, but not clean enough. The bathroom was very disappointing because it was dirty. We couldn't fill the jacuzzi for an hour. The location is good (the hotel is in the mountains), but it's very difficult to get there by tuk-tuk, and there are no cafes nearby,...

I liked the pool and the sun loungers that doubled as beds. It was comfortable to swim in the pool and get some work done during the day. The room was a bit tired, but it had a sea view. The breakfast was overly salty (they didn't offer me an alternative). Overall, it was okay for a couple of nights.

Rooms are fabulous and the place is perfectly maintained. Excellent food, too. There's a beach, but sea too choppy to swim, and behind, a main road. Short rides to Unawatanu or to Thalpe itself if you aren't happy to just relax in a great place.

We came as a multigenerational group (12-82 in age) and were so well looked after by the team. The layout of the house works really well. The rooms are spacious but simple. This is a great destination, 10 minutes from the surf beaches, close to golf and 25 minutes to Galle. It is worth pointing out the sea by the house is very rough and not suitable for swimming, the swimming pool is really lovely...

A small boutique hotel right on the beach in Talpe ( a shortish tuk tuk ride from Galle) . Excellent food and friendly staff. The hotel has a beautiful pool (the sea near the hotel is not really suitable for swimming although it does look wonderful). The hotel is on a main road, although you can't hear the traffic. Recommended.

Palinda and his crew were without fault. Amazing service and so friendly and polite. Fragipani Tree is a truly heavenly place with beautiful and immaculately kept grounds. It is fronted by a virtually private beach and a wonderfully warm sea. In all perfect.

Excellent hotel in the South Coast of Sri Lanka just twenty minutes from the world heritage Galle Fort. Excellent service under General Manager Nalaka who along with his staff attend to grant everything a guest asks for be it a tasty meal, a minor room matter. The chef is excellent. Steward Sanjeewa is most attentive helpful and makes ones stay memorable.

This hotel may not be for everyone but it certainly suited us. There are only 8 rooms so things are very quiet and relaxed. There are a number of staff around but due to the nature of the hotel they often need to be tracked down to order a drink etc. The hotel is located on the beach front but you cannot actually go in the sea here due to the rocks. We had a great experience at era beach, the staff was very helpful and friendly. Nice food and beautiful environment. Great place to catch up with friends. Noticed that there was limited parking space. I recommend providing guests with more toiletries eg: shampoo and toothpaste.

Great location on a hill, it feels like Nuwara Eliya, but it's actually Hunawatuna. The food is excellent, and the pools, including private ones, are fantastic. Private villa with 3 bedrooms + swimming pool is great for big family. The scenery is perfect for Instagram photos.

Sometimes back we were at this place on our honeymoon.We were think to come back for last weekend and its really value for money Rooms are done well with clean linen and spotless.They serve main meals from Ala carte and only breakfast on buffet.Matching various and tasty food.
