The hotel is amazing! The room is big and tidy, the air conditioner is strong and the beds are very comfortable. Without prior requests, to our surprise, one more bed is arranged for the 3 of us. The manager is super helpful and friendly, he recommended us a lot of nearby attractions. The location is fangastic. It was such a such a nice stay and I will definitely recommend this hotel!

The experience could not have been any more perfect. The hotel is located in a beautiful natural beach setting surrounded by palm trees. The architecture and interior design is a mixture of modernism and Sri Lankan chic, every detail considered. One could spend days on the poolside loungers enjoying the vista. Rooms are fabulous and the place is perfectly maintained. Excellent food, too. There's a beach, but sea too choppy to swim, and behind, a main road. Short rides to Unawatanu or to Thalpe itself if you aren't happy to just relax in a great place.

We came as a multigenerational group (12-82 in age) and were so well looked after by the team. The layout of the house works really well. The rooms are spacious but simple. I liked the pool and the sun loungers that doubled as beds. It was comfortable to swim in the pool and get some work done during the day. The room was a bit tired, but it had a sea view. Very helpful and prepared staff! They helped us negotiate getting someone to hospital late at night for an urgent asthma treatment. We came for the restaurant, looks luxury and beautiful. Choose to sit inside, outside was still a bit hot. Service was excellent, food fresh and tasty. A little bit overpriced. But not too much. The hotel isn't very big, and there's only one pool, but it wasn't crowded. Breakfast had limited options, though there were several curry dishes. I booked this hotel for my parents. They are in their 50s. They said, We enjoyed a lot. Staff was so nice and kind. There were side events on Saturday. Food was great. The room is not like in the photos. We couldn’t see the sea from the bed. But the room was comfortable and all that. We will go there again.
