Gorgeous little hotel nestled into the small town. The staff were all absolutely lovely, the hotel and rooms were all gorgeous, super clean, and comfortable. The room is clean and tidy, the balcony has an unbeatable view, and the ancient city is opposite. There is an infinity pool on the fourth floor, which is not big, but clean. Went to Tartaruga Restaurant for lunch. Restaurant is located in the beach side. Bit crowded with local and foreign tourists. It is open area dining. Table service is available and accepts both cash and cards. They have separate menus for food and beverages. Meals are extremely good and had a pleasant experience there. Highly recommended. Went for dinner at the restaurant and loved it. Lovely place right on the beach. We ordered a burger and a pizza. Unfortunately my burger was a bit overcooked the first time but our waiter (in the green shirt) fixed this by bringing out a fresh burger which I found to be 100x better. The streetnoise is a real bother in this hotel as the door of the room is not air tight.During our stay the airconditioning startend to leak in our suitcase; the breakfast is excellent as is the food in general,but mind you: service is extremely slow ( of even forgetfull) If you do decade to stay there take a room on the first Floor so that you have a private bakcony

Absolutely loved our stay here! Extremely clean rooms and beautiful pool area. Staff were so helpful and attentive! Steep hill to get into hotel but ring a bell and within a minute a tuk tuk arrives at the bottom to take you up so it’s no problem at all. So close to all restaurants / bars / cafes. I liked the pool and the sun loungers that doubled as beds. It was comfortable to swim in the pool and get some work done during the day. The room was a bit tired, but it had a sea view. All the staff here are fantastic, including the owner Summit, who greets all his visitors personally and is on hand for any requests. The location right on the beach was perfect - a few steps around the bay to protected swimming behind the reef with turtles nudging you for a sea lettuce treat. There are just 2 things good about this hotel rest all is very very poor. The good things is very spacious room and direct view of the beach from each and every room. Breakfast is ok dinner never even think of eating all the food was expired and after telling to the front desk they didn't care at all and over expensive food.

Stopped with my Daughters for 3 nights. The staff could not be more helpful in this hotel with the perfect location. Although it was off season with a rough sea at times the area has a natural sea pool which is safe and can swim with wild sea turtles.

Good location and excellent view at the very narrow beach. We spotted two different sea turtles from our Terrasse and snorkelled with a big one (~1m long) in the shallow waters just a few hundred meters east of the hotel. It’s an older hotel that could need a bit restoration - but that goes for many things in Sri Lanka these days ;)
