The facilities and environment are first-class, with the standard of gold diamonds. I ordered a seafood platter for dinner for 330 yuan, which included lobsters and crabs. The service was also very good, and it was great value!

Our family had a very pleasant stay at Pedro Barn Hotel at Little England Cottages. The environment and vibe were excellent, creating a calm and relaxing atmosphere. We stayed at the hotel from November 16th to November 21st. It's in a great location right on the oceanfront, with plenty of swimming. The staff is friendly. On the downside, we didn't like that the room photos on the website didn't match the actual room. On the first day of our stay, since check-in was after 12:00 PM, we had to pay for breakfast, which was also disappointing.

We stayed here for three nights and were looking for a very quiet beachfront escape away from the crowds — this place was perfect.. The hotel itself is very comfortable, and the team are excellent. I would highly recommend the Sri Lankan breakfast and the wildlife tour of the freshwater lagoon directly behind the hotel.

The noise from the upstairs room, including coughing, was really disturbing as soundproofing was poor. I was also woken up early in the morning by a continuous, unidentified noise, possibly from the boiler, which was very annoying.

Very nice property .. but the problem is only five rooms , you will not know who is staying in the next room.. Door locks are very old.. if you want enjoy with friends this is not the right place because even if you drop a pin it will be disturbance to the other room because all the 5 rooms are very close.. In the night with all that English photos around it was little scary for us.

We chose this hotel based on the location! We arrived, looked and booked 3 rooms. Moreover, it was cheaper to book through the website than at the hotel. When they showed us the rooms, a very sharp, specific smell hit our noses, I asked what it was, they told me that these were their air fresheners and they could be washed off. I said that I could not live with such a smell and needed to be removed...

Too short a trip. Wonderful hotel that greets and sees you off with a blessing. We have stayed at Sunshine resort & Spa for a total of 3 nights. The team is very caring and welcoming, supported us with our travel plans and even made it possible to do to elephant safari the same day. A room costs over 1,500 RMB and accommodates four people (because other rooms are under renovation and cannot be provided). It's approximately 20 square meters, with one double bed and two 80cm beds in the loft above the bathroom. The problem is the extremely narrow and steep staircase; you have to be very careful going up and down. It's extremely poor value for money.

Halycon occupies a beautiful location on Mawella beach. The toom was spacious, comfortable and had a lovely sea view.

A great boutique type place in a fantastic location. Attention to detail is excellent and the food is superb. Friendly team all round and we would definitely return.
