We had an amazing high tea at Hunas Falls with the family. The scenery was breathtaking, overlooking the mountains and the waterfall. It's not easy to get to the hotel - the last few kms are especially hairy but it's got amazing views. We spent two nights there and just walked around the property and enjoyed it. The food was decent but they got pretty muddled up with our group of 10 so food arrived in drubs and drabs and was often cold. The staff are very nice and helpful though and really try to make you happy.

However, sad to say although they have a lovely pool which they say is 38 meters in length one can swim only 19 meters after that it’s super shallow!! We had a lovely two night stay. It’s a quiet hotel just off the beach. The staff were pleasant and we found the food to be good. The room was fine although the bathroom was oppressively hot as it was meant to have a feel of the outdoors with no air con. The noticeable hair on the bathroom floor was a big turn-off. The hotel's location is indeed good, but the view wasn't particularly great; our low floor was obstructed by tree branches. The furniture in the room is quite old-fashioned. Breakfast had limited variety, and the dinner buffet, which was an extra charge, was three times the price of our previous hotel but only half as good in terms of taste...

I'm sure this was due to the effects of the hurricane that occurred a while ago, but the wifi and TV were not working, which was very inconvenient. I chose a hotel with wifi, so this was very disappointing. There was no discount to compensate for the inconvenience, and no services such as free breakfast were offered. I think they should have notified us in advance and allowed us to cancel.

The hotel was not so busy when we visited but nonetheless it's a pretty place. A compact hotel with all the amenities you will need. Beautiful views of the river and mountains depending on which side your room is. The pool on the roof also gives great views. Staff are helpful and friendly especially the ones in the restaurant!

Good hotel in Kandy, room is clean and staff are friendly. The food is good, I enjoyed the dosa and idly combo for breakfast. We had purchased some cashew along the way, the restaurant staff prepared it for us to taste as well.

Excellent service but A/C is not functioning well. Please look into it as a matter of urgency. Food was also good. The operations manager along with his colleagues were very friendly and courteous. My hats off to the operations manager. Also TV was not functioning properly and limited channels only. First day we were getting BBC and CNN. And suddenly these channels disappeared totally.
