Just back home after the most relaxing 5 days on the eastern coast at Anantaya. This really was the perfect end to our Sri Lanka holiday. The beach and surroundings are like nothing I’ve ever experienced in terms of tranquility and feeling like you’re in paradise. The food at the hotel is lovely and the staff treat you like royalty. We weren’t staying at the hotel but as ours didn’t have a spa, we got treatments at Z Spa at this hotel. The spa is very peaceful - we managed to get a walk in pedicure. The spa therapists (Sayu and Kezang) were so lovely and so kind. Highly recommend treatments at this spa!!

We loved our stay at Fort Bazaar. It's a beautiful hotel - the decor is modern and stylish throughout. The staff are welcoming, friendly and extremely helpful. Highlights included great breakfasts, afternoon tea, happy hour cocktails and pedicures. The pool area provides a place to relax after exploring the fort area. We would highly recommend and hope to stay here again in the future.

From someone who has travelled to many countries, this is one of the best hotels that I’ve ever stayed at. Highly recommended for anyone who is fascinated with tea, or even simply someone looking for an oasis to relax in.

Interesting hotel with colonial feel to it and a lot of history. We really enjoyed the tea plucking tour where we dressed in saris and had a go at plucking tea leaves in baskets. The buffet dinner was an impressive lay out.

The room is on the ground floor, with a swimming pool right outside the door. It's not far from the beach, but it's not suitable for swimming. The room facilities are OK, and the breakfast is good. The hotel I chose for transit in Negombo is roughly equivalent to the level of a three-star hotel in China. A very convenient hotel 30 mins from Yala national park for Safari (which the were kind enough to arrange for us). Nice pool with views over the lagoon and a great spot to sit and watch the sunset, birds flying home for bed/bats on their way out for the night! Staff are great, food was good.

We stayed for 6 days and we were really looked after. The fact that they grow there own food and therefore was sustainable was a plus. We did have to request for the room to be cleaned. Our allocated butler was a bonus as Yashodara really was great, she made sure we were okay everyday. She also came with on a trip around Shri Lanka.
