We stayed from November 16th to November 25th. A wonderful hotel, clean, comfortable, and spacious room with a balcony, friendly and welcoming staff, delicious breakfasts, amazing dinners, and a very convenient location. We stayed here two years ago, so maybe things have changed, but the breakfasts were frankly bad, the rooms were sparse. This isn't a mini-hotel, but a typical guesthouse run by Russians trying to squeeze as much money as possible. After three days, we fled to another hotel. We hope things have improved now.

I stayed here for two weeks, in a Deluxe Room with a balcony, room 21. I loved everything: the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, they cleaned it every day, the staff was very polite, and the breakfasts were delicious. Thanks again to the staff for a wonderful stay at this hotel.

Lovely place, up a small hill, surrounded by greenery. The Superior and Deluxe rooms are excellent value, the staff is friendly and helpful. They change mattresses every year--the beds are super comfy, the bathrooms are nice. They could use fluffier pillows--but that's a small thing.Overall excellent value!

The hotel is a little less new than in the public photos, but some rooms are being renovated. Tri is simply stunning. We had two sunset rooms, one with plunge pool for our 3 kids under 11. We spent the afternoons by or in the amazing pool and then used the hotel as a launch pad to get to the beach in Weligama for surfing, Ahangama, Kabbalana and Thalpe for restaurants, all within 15-20 mins. Mr Lali has an amazing ability to make you feel very welcomed. He greeted me everyday with his big small and joyful kindness. We had the great opportunity to be there in the evenings when he released the baby turtles. Beautiful site to see and his knowledge of the types of turtles a ns how to care for them is evident. We stayed here on 18th of this month. The staff is very courteous especially Maheshi who was very helpful and smiling. The beach view and the location is awesome. We wanted to extend our stay . At the time of booking do not go for riverside view as the rooms are outside the main resort. The options for Vegetarian food is limited.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Kings Pavilion in Kandy. When we arrived they very kindly upgraded us to their Kings Suite which was incredible, as well providing cake as we were on our honeymoon! The photos don’t highlight how incredible the view is from the rooms and the restaurant, this was a truly special part of the property. As others have written, this is a great hotel. Wonderful rooms, staff, food, grounds. My only warning is that it is far from Kandy, about 45-50 minutes. So if your purpose of staying here is to see Kandy, you will spend a lot of time driving there.

I think this hotel is already well known as a supportive environment for a solo female traveller.. so quite a few mothers and daughters. It is very beautifully and carefully designed aligned with Ayurvedic principles. It is a really good deal-£78 including breakfast and two hours of treatment which include massage and facial. What a wonderful old world hotel a real Jem the service you get probably hasn’t been seen since Victorian times the rooms are amazing and the gardens are truly spectacular you will not be disappointed. The food is excellent but it is a little pricey our evening meal was £114 pounds so beware. Having said that nip next door to the beach shack and the food is delicious.

We had a 3 night stay at the Reef Villas & Spa, it’s worth noting there is no spa and we probably would not have booked had we known (though in fairness the website doesn’t feature it). We had a good stay at this hotel. The food was delicious with a great variety, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and attentive. Although it is a little far from Sigiriya Rock, the peaceful forest atmosphere makes it a perfect place to relax.
