The hotel is in a good location, close to all the attractions. The room is large and the facilities are relatively new. The service is good, and there is a dedicated person to check in. The hotel's dining is very good, with many choices for breakfast and dinner, and the taste is also good, suitable for Chinese stomachs.

Hotels in Sri Lanka generally have low value for money, and most of the well-known heritage hotels have outdated facilities. In comparison, Golden Crown is a relatively new hotel with fairly complete facilities. The location is good and the lobby decoration is very unique. It happened to be Valentine's Day when we checked in, and red balloons were placed on the bed, which was very warm.

We had the perfect family retreat with KK in early January. From the very start we experienced the full calm of the beautiful surroundings and benefitted from excellent and attentive staff. The hotel is amazing! The room is big and tidy, the air conditioner is strong and the beds are very comfortable. Without prior requests, to our surprise, one more bed is arranged for the 3 of us. The common areas are very nice and well-maintained, with stunning views. The restaurant is small but offers very good food. This could be a 5-star property, but the quality of the room, bed, and bathroom needs improvement. Service: Some staff are pleasant, but some are only pleasant if you tip beforehand. The 3-hour catamaran tour, which you can book at reception, is highly recommended.

Fantastic location.  The swimmable beach is 100m to left of the hotel.  Very quiet and peaceful.  Beach has shade  so you are not in the sun 100%. Good staff interaction.  Rooms are big, most have some sea view.   Food is on par for Sri Lanka, primarily local cuisine, a bit pricey for the quality though. Overall, recommended.

Very nice resort hotel, there is a beach behind the hotel. There is no place to hike around the hotel. The only place you can go is a turtle conservation base more than one kilometer to the left along the beach behind the hotel. You can see turtles and relax in the hotel for the rest of the time.

The hotel did not have a room for our driver and in the end we asked our driver to rent a room outside. As for the hotel manager, he also shied away from responsibility. Amazing hotel with a lot of care and thought put into the little details. Feels very unique with the suites having a very architectural type feel, example recsess in the bathroom for light features and shelving etc. the door however had an old rusty handle which would fault, locking you in! Had to leave the door open propped by a bin. The pool is beautiful although not as clean as our previous hotel...

The apparemve and the environment of the hotel is good. However the cleanliness of the hotel as compared to the price is less competitive.

The bed sheet is really dirty, bloods, blots and bugs…Cause it’s quite late and we would like to rest, we didn’t ask the staff to change. The room service is really slow. We wait for 2 hours for the staffs to send a mosquito repellent which should be in the room. No tips, no service. That’s the first lesson u gonna learn in Srilanka from their staffs. A very pleasant trip! Every staff member at the hotel was incredibly welcoming and friendly. Since it was our honeymoon, they even gave us a small cake! The room was spacious, though the furniture was a bit dated, but the view was fantastic, directly facing the infinity pool and the beach. In the mornings, you can go to the beach to watch fishing; there are so many seagulls and crows, and even dogs...

We had a lovely stay at Jetwing Blue Negombo.  The setting is lovely , right on the beach.  Rooms were lovely , we had a second floor room with a balcony opening towards the sea and view. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.  Thank you for a memorable stay.
